Even at a buck it might still be overpriced. I heard the acting was lousy, and there wasn't much of a plot line.

We drive a Honda Civic. It snowed so much last Monday and that thing rides so low to ground that the slush and ice built up in front of the muffler and by the time we got into work, the only thing keeping it on the car was the left side hanger and the exhaust pipe. It had broke the weld and twisted back.

IDOT didn't plow the road until around 10:00 A.M. Bastards

46 Sharmuta  Thu, Dec 25, 2008 1:18:15pm

One year for Christmas, a girlfriend of mine and I went to a historic theatre where they were screening A Hard Day's Night. That was a great Christmas- smiled from frame one straight through to the end. So I'm going to take a hint and watch a movie now. I'm going with It's A Wonderful Life.

Factoid: the scene in which Donna Reed and Jimmy Stuart are sharing a phone and fall into a passionate embraced was filmed in one take.

47 BaseballMom57  Thu, Dec 25, 2008 1:19:35pm

My office buddies bought one of those grocery store Christmas-Dinner-in-a-Box things for the kids and me. Just took the turkey out of the oven ("heat & eat"). Pretty decent taste for a turkey out of a cardboard box...the cornbread stuffing (which came in its own container) looks and smells a little scary, though.

Gonna put the carcass in a stock pot now, for soup.
