These kind of things take some organization and funds to pull off a meaningful protest. I'd be really interested in seeing where the funding for this came from. Right or left, there are supporters of Israel with jobs and there are supporters of Israel without jobs. (I do realize that more supporters of Israel tend to lean right but not all by any means.) A friend of mine is working on a thesis about the phenomenon that people on the "left" feel free to opine openly about their politics with the assumption that everyone around them is in total agreement, while people who are not "left" tend to keep quiet.
