My sled had a steering wheel and a rudder. Whoever designed it was pure evil. I was sledding down Cahokia mounds when I turned the wheel. Sliding upside down on your face in snow really hurts.
The second time down I turned the wheel maybe a 1/4 of an inch. Again, my face took the brunt of the damage. My dad almost peed himself laughing.

Korean television has video of a Palestinian girl confronting Israeli soldiers over their firing (rubber bullets?) at demonstrating Palestinian children and youth.

She is being identified by my facebook friends as Huwaida Arraf, a Detroiter married to Adam Shapiro, a University of Michigan Poli Sci graduate, and a founder of International Solidarity Movement, a nonviolent activist organization.

Note several things:

1. The date on the blog comment is January 6, yesterday. But there is no indication of when the footage was shot.

2. The camerawork in the video shows that it was carefully cut and spliced by a team that was either in several places at once or put together footage from several different incidents.

3. Note particularly the musical accompaniment: It is very professional and not consistent with video shot on the fly. Jolly Palestinian music at the beginning, during the scenes showing the stone-throwing "children", followed by ominous bad-guy chords when we get to the Israelis.

4. When the ISM Queen approaches the soldiers, she chooses a pair that are far away from the main action, and stagily tells them they are shooting at children. The camera is there and waiting. Of course the IDF soldiers do not threaten her in any way, or fire while she's standing bravely in front of them. She knew they wouldn't, so the "bravery" is fake.

5. The voice-over is in Korean, so I can't tell what they're saying, but given the choice of music and the carefully crafted dramaturgy of the whole thing, it can't be objective. (Can anyone do a translation?)

Clearly this was either filmed with advance planning by the ISM itself or with the collaboration of the Koreans. Cole's note of course fails to mention what channel is involved, but I would bet my eye teeth it's either a leftist shill channel or not "TV" at all, but a "documentary" effort planned and carried out by the ISM.

There is no mention of casualties, because there clearly aren't any. Cole does hypothesize that the rounds might be rubber bullets, but leaves it to the fevered imaginations of his readers to decide.

This is how propaganda is made, folks. The comments are full of people "in tears" as they type.

Informed comment. Yeah!

Even if humanitarian aid reaches the people it's intended for. It reduces the stress on Hamas. A duly elected government has the responsibility to make sure it's people have access to the necessities. That's Hamas job, they need to do that and fight the little war the gave.

By provided aid to people (assuming they get it) that relives Hamas of the responsibility for that duty. It therefore frees up resources for Hamas to prosecute the war.

1 lb of flour in the hands of a civilian is 1 lb Hamas does not have to provide is 1 lb tor feed a gunman.

It is far more compassionate to break Hamas as rapidly as possible. Humanitarian aid enables Hamas to dedicate resources freed up by humanitarian aid to extending the conflict.

Humanitarian aid is anything but that.

Denis does recognise that his reach is now beyond the America - lots of Prager listener groups springing up all over the place....

The thing is, the MSM rarely shows press releases from our own military, and if they do it's buried or skewed somehow.

dennis is exellent. I love my dad but if I didnt have my dad, next choice would be dennis prager. in anceint times I would have traveled a thousand miles to learn at his side.

I could only have been so lucky to have a man this wise and good as a father. My dad was a bigoted, alcoholic, narcisistic, abusive asshole (may he rest in peace).

Wonder if Dennis ever set the stove eyes to low to deter his 6 year old son from making a midnight cookie heist in the middle of the night. It made a nice spiral burn mark on the bottom of my foot.
