CNN’s Staged Video Update: Norwegian Doctor Works with Hezbollah

Media • Views: 4,832

At Erik Svansbo’s Swedish blog, more information about the pro-terrorist agenda of Mads Gilbert, the doctor seen in that staged video from a Gaza hospital: Doctor in CNN video outspoken communist and pro-terror.

The doctor’s colleague actually told the Aftonbladet newspaper that spreading pro-Hamas propaganda is more important to them than their medical work—and the Norwegian organization for which they work is a partner with Hezbollah’s “Martyr Foundation.”

In Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Mads Gilbert’s norwegian colleague Erik Fosse reported about his work in Gaza:

Two Norwegian doctors have worked hard for seven days to save lives in Gaza. But to report to the outside world about what is happening in the war assessing the more important. - “Our witness function and to convey what is actually happening have been more important,” says the doctor Erik Fosse to VG Nett.
In Sweden’s biggest morning newspaper, columnist Lisa Bjurwald stated that NORWAC cooperates with Hezbollah’s Martyr Foundation:
GILBERT AND HIS medical colleague Erik Fosse seconded by the Norwegian aid organization NORWAC, for which Fosse is boss. NORWAC’s partners include Hezbollah’s Martyr Foundation, which collects and distributes money to suicide bomber’s families.

Not a single mainstream media source has reported the outrageous pro-terrorist views and actions of these doctors, but all have broadcast interviews with them.

You really expect the MSM to do fact checking? It's all about just taking a story and running with it, regardless of where it came from.

This is the most disturbing thing I've read about this situation. They are active in encouraging homocidal attacks.

Maybe they should ask themselves what happened to Saddam Hussien who did that, too.

There are numerous photos of Gilbert at the hospital. It's not as though there aren't reporters or photographers. None are interested in talking about Gilbert's pro-terror sympathies.

Of course, the photos showing Gilbert are propaganda puff pieces.

I loved The Cosby Show. One of my favorite lines was when Cliff was on a diet and Theor (I think) gave him a rice cake as a snack. After the classic facial expressions, he said, "The air in my mouth has more flavor than that does."

"Actively involved with solidarity work concerning Palestinians since the 1970s, he has served as a doctor during numerous periods in Palestine and Lebanon."

"On being a doctor as well as a politician, Gilbert has said the two roles are indistinguishable, and that "there is little in medicine that isn't politics"
[Link: en.wikipedia.org...]

Based on his record, he seems to be more of a politician than a doctor. After spending just seven days, in which he found the time away from patients to conduct several interviews, he found it fairly easy to leave the wounded of Gaza to fend for themselves.

26 Blackacre  Sun, Jan 11, 2009 7:57:23am

Given the lack of "medical work" in the Pallywood production, the statement that they are more concerned with spreading propaganda comes as no surprise.

Nor is it a surprise that Paul Martin's response is larded with self-serving statements of objectivity and feigned umbrage over the criticisms directed at this propaganda, but precious little in terms of facts that address the many red flags in the scenes that have been aired.

The most that Martin offers is a lame excuse -- which never actually comes to grips with the lack of vigor of the CPR, the disconnected leads on the medical equipment, the absence of larger quantities of blood on the sheets, or the presence of clothes remaining on a body in an ER that was supposedly inflicted by various shrapnel wounds -- that is nothing more than his supposition that the CPR was gentle because the White Lab Coat GuysTM had already concluded that their "efforts" were futile.

What is shown is just the very final stage of doctors’ failed efforts to save Mahmoud. I suppose the reason their effort as shown is so gentle is that they have already in effect concluded that it is futile.

Notwithstanding his rhetoric, Martin has failed to come forward with any facts demonstrating that this video production is anything other than stage-managed Pallywood propaganda. His indignation, righteous or otherwise, does not suffice.

Gotta make sure the kids are hale and hearty for the big Shaheed day. Like giving death-row inmates a clean bill of health before the injection. I gotta get gone for awhile. Kill me some muties in Fallout 3, pretend they're journalists and doctors who ally themselves with evil against good.

I LOVE that one!
MWAH!

I was so hoping you'd be here this morning:

The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.

Dear Dogs and Cats: The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort, however. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.

Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:

TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR PETS:

(1) They live here. You don't.
(2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'-niture.
(3) I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
(4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they
(1) eat less,
(2) don't ask for money all the time,
(3) are easier to train,
(4) normally come when called,
(5) never ask to drive the car,
(6) don't hang out with drug-using people;
(7) don't smoke or drink,
(8) don't want to wear your clothes,
(9) don't have to buy the latest fashions,
(10) don't need a gazillion dollars for college and
(11) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

In this article that Paul Martin put out yesterday, he says:

Then an unmanned Israeli aircraft fired two small rockets.
Ashraf rushed upstairs and took the boys to hospital, but it was hopeless. They were buried the same day.

So, now there is a 3rd version? His article seems to indicate that Ashraf was at home when the rocket hit and rushed upstairs immediately.

Infuriating "analysis" on Fox News Sunday today ... Krauthammer saying Israel is about to cave, Juan Williams as usual getting his facts ass backwards and claiming that Israel's purpose in Gaza is to make life as miserable and horrific as possible for the residents so they'll ditch Hamas but it's having the opposite effect. He's certainly wrong on the purpose. The IDF has been going out of its way to minimize collateral damage. And from what I've been hearing, the Gaza residents are in fact losing faith in Hamas. I don't know where Juan gets his information. Oh, right. He works at NPR.

He also accused Israel of blocking humanitarian aid. What a joke! How many other countries stop a war for three hours to ferry food and medical supplies to their enemies?

They can't keep their story straight - probably because no one ever thought that they'd be called on it, least of all CNN (which continues to stand by the story).

It's absolutely horrifying to see kids used as props, but that is what Hamas does. It's part and parcel of Hamas and their propaganda war, and CNN and Channel 4 use the footage unquestioningly.

Martin vouches for the content not by verifying details of the video, but claiming that he trusts his video guy. That's not verification. Yeah, he's broken bread with him and got lots of videos from the guy and your company has benefited monetarily from his videos, but that doesn't mean they're legitimate. They're propaganda pieces, and you were taken. Step up and admit it - though we know he wont.

You are developing one kick-ass site!
I look forward to the site being a competitor in next year's "Best Whatever" site competition.
And I have passed the link on to more than one friend.

I second that, fervently!

re: #69 lifeofthemind

Who licenses this "Doctor?" Are there rules and standards he has violated? Has he participated in the imprisonment of Gilad Shalit and not cooperated with the United Nations, the Norwegian consular officials and the Red Cross in locating him and protecting his rights? Three possible answers.
1) Dr. Mads has had zero contact with the kidnapped soldier. I doubt this.
2) He has had contact and as a willing member of Hamas' criminal movement concealed the facts.
3) The UN, the Norwegians and the Red Cross know the facts and protect Hamas at the expense of the abducted soldier. That would make them active agents of terror in a de facto state of war with Israel.

Gilbert entered Gaza only a few days ago. It's not likely he had any contact with Shalit, unless he was being held at the same hospital as Gilbert is working in.

Gilbert has undeniably had contacts with Hamas thugs in the course of the past two days; the hospital is rife with Hamas, and there's no way for him to avoid that.

3) The UN and UNRWA and Red Cross refuse to act to demand Shalit's release - despite the clear signals that it would send on humanitarian grounds. [deleted]

Not a single mainstream media source has reported the outrageous pro-terrorist views and actions of these doctors, but all have broadcast interviews with them.

DNC TV isn't about to be honest, thorough, professional. The mainstream press are driven by simple pre-chewed sound-bites and a pre-prescribed agenda.

The doctor’s colleague actually told the Aftonbladet newspaper that spreading pro-Hamas propaganda is more important to them than their medical work

That right there is a violation of the Hippocratic oath

I've always thought they followed the Hypocritical oath.
And I'm going upstairs to see why Charles needs to be flogged.

First, people who think the press is in a "take anything" mode are soft. The media have a long term relationship with these people, which means that they are the sponsors of these lying lies. It means that the producers and "actor/doctors" are being paid even though they have an internet published connection (donators?) to an organization giving money to families of suicide bombers. They are financing suicide bombings just as much as Sadam Hussein did. And so the CNN, NBC, Fox too?, everybody who keeps buying these guys stuff when their suicide bomber connection is ON THE INTERNET is also financing suicide attacks. OMG how embarrassed they should be, but aren't!

Second, the lying lies put out by the media (CNN, NBC, Fox too?) are inciting an acceptance of public incitement against Jews all over the world, including in the U.S. Even if they correct their bias (which they usually don't), it is to late to put the the toothpaste back into the tube. I am concerned for my own children with people IN THE U.S. yelling about JEWS BACK TO THE OVENS. OMG how embarrassed they should be, but aren't! Brit Hume, please take this on. You've got the backbone to do it.

Crime against humanity of historic proportions. We in the West Bank have been asking Israelis to open up Gaza to help the Gazans find hope! They could compete with the tunnels!

Israel set up this situation so that they could bomb Gaza.

He's accusing IDF of using chemical weapons.

The guy just on gazacam: I was typing along with him toward the end. This is by no means accurate and complete, but certain phrases are.

"Hamas is part and parcel of this society regardless of any of the acts they have taken they are a constituency of the Palestinian people

When Israel attacked Lebanon in 1982 I dedicated myself to this issue of ending the occupation. My role is economic development. My daughters will grow up like anyone else in this community. We're producing intelligent students attending universities all over the world and having a stronger sense of humanity than . . ."

couldn't keep up.

Newt Gingrich (on ABC's This Week with Snoopy) just drew a parallel between the Nazis and Hamas. Nice to hear someone say it. Too bad it will make zero impact on the moonbats and fellow-travelers who consider Israel to be the "Nazis".
None are so deaf as those who will not hear.

Is there anyone with connections at CNN who might be able to obtain a copy of the unedited video? I would be highly interested in collaborating with individuals who might have access to such a tape and who have the requisite computer skills to produce a documentary that would dispel this propaganda crap.

We produced a video which directly refutes veracity of the CNN/Channel UK 4 tape and to my knowledge it's the only one out there. Obviously, it was rushed and a first edit, but it illustrates the sick nature of these propagandists.

If interested, please email me.

111 rexatosis  Sun, Jan 11, 2009 8:54:54am

Gilbert should be in a bad horror film, he would be perfect as the proto-typical "mad" scientist/doctor. So sure of his moral superiority and expertise that he blinds himself to the inherent destructive nature of the experiment/alien creature/monster he is enamoured with and tries to prevent its destruction making common cause with it. While such a horror movie scientist provides cheers when he gets his from the monster as in the original "The Thing," Gilbert's actions just prolong, and enable Hamas to kill or cause the death of more people including the Palestinians.

112 CofactorMatrix  Sun, Jan 11, 2009 8:58:04am

C'mon Charles, cut it out! If you keep posting stuff like this, people will start to think that the mid-stream media are a bunch of corrupt hacks acting as revoltingly biased propaganda tools for homicidal savages, instead of the corrupt hacks acting as revoltingly biased propaganda tools for homicidal savages that they are.

Swedish Social Democrats support Hamas. I wish I could say it was just a Scandinavian thing, but it seems to be afflicting a good bit of the rest of Europe too.

115 bravesoat  Sun, Jan 11, 2009 10:10:52am

I am the grandson of a Norwegian immigrant. I have always been proud of the Norwegians who risked their lives sabotaging the Nazis during the occupation. But there must be something in the [heavy]water there- you had Quisling and his collaborators working for Hitler and there is this doctor. What makes these people so blind to evil.

116 Age Of Freedom  Sun, Jan 11, 2009 11:49:39am

Good job collecting all the info, Charles!

117 Mad Mullah  Sun, Jan 11, 2009 3:00:13pm

Mads Gilbert is a Hamas supporter, a Hezbollah supporter and an Al-Qaeda supporter. He supports war and terror against Americans and especially the Jews of course. I find him to be as credible a witness as Dr. Joseph Mengele would be.

The extremely biased and pro-terrorist Norwegian media is already praising these two terrorist propagandists as heroes, for bravely risking their lives to help the Islamo-Pig-Nazis called Hamas who are a poor, occupied people whose main desire is to commit genocide of all Jews with the help of Europeans, and they're getting plenty of it.

It is quite comical to see a doctor whining about a few dead terrorists on tv, when that same doctor supported the 9-11 attacks which killed thousands.

Meanwhile, Muslim youth are rioting like rabid animals in Oslo, screaming death to all Jews!, exterminate the Jews! and attacking elderly Norwegians who dare to support Israel, because these people are of course Nazis according to many in Norway, a country where most of the Jewish population was exterminated under WWII.

To put it simply, Mads Gilbert and people like him are the enemy.
