7 Kosh's Shadow  Mon, Jan 12, 2009 8:42:59am

These are the stories the MSM should be doing.

From my cancellation email to the Boston Globe:

One way to improve the reporting would be to include articles on how Israel has received years of rocket attacks, and how they have coped. Some reports on how the people of Sderot, inside pre-1967 Israel, have had to cope with years of rocket attacks, would go a long way to explaining Israel's reaction. The inhabitants of Sderot have not been able to have normal lives for years.

Having watched the video 3 times, I'm pleasantly surprised by the graphics shown at appropriate moments.

Video begins with the world, spinning, stopping on Israel. Nice perspective.
Joe starts out by saying he's in Sderot, and during the audio, the video zooms in on a satellite view of Israel, ending up at the geographic location. Boundaries are displayed in red.

Alternative would be Katie Couric with a deer-in-the-headlights look sitting behind a desk, big map behind her.

Ed Morressy on Joe the Plumber.....
Joe the Plumber becomes Joe the Media

....Joe seems ready to make the same mistake that the MSM does, which is picking sides rather than reporting. He’s made it clear that his mission is to tell the Israeli side, which is unfortunately badly needed at this stage. At least he’s honest about that, but it doesn’t make him that much better than his mainstream media peers. If they announced that they felt a duty to report the Palestinian side of the conflict because they genuinely believe that Israel is the aggressor, would that make their reporting any more objective or truthful? Not really.

What this conflict needs is disinterested, dispassionate reporting, a historical record that doesn’t rely on terrorist propagandists nor on “patriotic” reports from the front. Joe the Plumber may make a fine columnist or opinion journalist — we’ll see when he begins filing regular reports — but his entirely legitimate criticism of the mainstream global media will apply to himself as well if he declares that he will deliver “patriotic” reports on behalf of Israel.

As I noted in the DT, Gilbert was in Gaza for all of a week - he's now back in Oslo spewing his nonsensical agitprop for anyone who is in earshot. He was at Shifa hospital, fully staffed by Hamas thugs on the payroll, mugging for the cameras and doing bad propaganda videos.

I'm sorry, but if the situation is as bad as he claims, how did he have time to mug for the cameras? I know interns in residency pull longer shifts than that which Gilbert did, and then they're still going at it. Evil.

Gilbert compares Gaza to the Warsaw Ghetto. Nice. Classy. Just ignore the thousands of rockets fired by Hamas at Israel necessitating Israel's response to defend itself from genocidal terrorists. Gilbert has repeatedly sided with evil (supported the 9/11 attackers), so going and throwing support to Hamas is a step down.

re: #22 Killgore Trout

Here's some black irony: In the midst of Hamas fighters committing war crimes by embedding themselves among the part of a civilian population most at risk, a UNRWA spokesman questions someone else's credibility:

The Shin Bet told ministers last week that Hamas leaders were hiding in a basement bunker built by Israel under the Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza City. The basement at the hospital was refurbished during Israel's occupation of the Gaza Strip, Haaretz reported on Monday. The United Nations insists that it keeps Hamas members out of the schools, clinics and other institutions it runs in Gaza.

In response to Dichter's comments, a UNRWA spokesman in Israel said on Monday that the UN was getting mixed messages from the Israeli establishment, and that with each "flip flop" the credibility of each Israeli assertion is "diminished incrementally."

Ed at HotAir is trying to say Joe should be objective when reporting on Hamas.

Hamas is a terrorist organization. They dont rate any objectivity. What is he thinking?

Nobody watching TV today recognizes the name Ernie Pyle.
Objective reporting in a war zone requires bias.

The public needs to know where the reporter is coming from. Today's public cannot see the elephant in the room when viewing a report from somebody embedded with Hamas.

Anybody know of a Michael Yon or Michael Totten report from an embedded with the Taliban perspective?

re: #82 lawhawk

As I noted in the DT, Gilbert was in Gaza for all of a week - he's now back in Oslo spewing his nonsensical agitprop for anyone who is in earshot. He was at Shifa hospital, fully staffed by Hamas thugs on the payroll, mugging for the cameras and doing bad propaganda videos.

I'm sorry, but if the situation is as bad as he claims, how did he have time to mug for the cameras? I know interns in residency pull longer shifts than that which Gilbert did, and then they're still going at it. Evil.

and while the MAD doctor was in that hospital,he turned a blind eye to Hamas thugs EXECUTING patients.

[Link: www.nytimes.com...]

"At Shifa Hospital in Gaza, the director, Dr. Hussein Ashour, said that keeping his patients alive from their wounds was an enormous challenge. He said there were some 1,500 wounded people distributed among Gaza’s nine hospitals with far too few intensive care units, equipped ambulances and other vital equipment.

On Monday, Dr. Ashour was not the only official in charge. Armed Hamas militants in civilian clothes roamed the halls. Asked their function, they said it was to provide security. But there was internal bloodletting under way.

In the fourth-floor orthopedic section, a woman in her late 20s asked a militant to let her see Saleh Hajoj, her 32-year-old husband. She was turned away and left the hospital. Fifteen minutes later, Mr. Hajoj was carried out by young men pretending to transfer him to another ward. As he lay on the stretcher, he was shot in the left side of the head.

Mr. Hajoj, like five others killed at the hospital this way in 24 hours, was accused of collaboration with Israel."

117 Mich-again  Mon, Jan 12, 2009 9:08:00am

The other story that is not being told is that not all Palestinians support Hamas. The MSM frames this as Israel versus all Palestinians, giving Hamas a free pass for tee-totally f-ing up the chance they had at actually governing.

Not just that. It's also a bit of NOCD (Not Our Class Dear). Some in the MSM look down on Joe as a working class "bitter clinger" (to use Obama's phrasing again). They want to believe that a journalist cannot be made out of a blue-collar worker. This attitude is what rational people call "Being an asshole".

I thought that was the problem. Disinterested and dispassionate means there is no difference between the sides, the "reporter" is just a Global Citizen, everything must be fair meaning every motive for every action by every entity must be portrayed as equal and morally and ethically equivalent.

Screw disinterested and dispassionate. Go JOE! God forbid he ever attempts to "be liked" by the elites in academia and media. That would be his assimilation into the Borg hive-mind.

As a doctor, he surely ought to be aware of the fact that in the Warsaw Ghetto (as in the KZs generally) women stopped menstruating because of the lack of food, and thus did not conceive.

How is it then that the birth rate in Gaza is so high?

But hey, he don't need facts, scientific or otherwise, he's a propagandist pure and simple.

more on Mike Royko.

Mike Royko grew up in Chicago, living in an apartment above a bar. His mother was Polish and his father Ukrainian.[1] He briefly attended Wright Junior College and then enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in 1952.[2]

On becoming a columnist, he drew experiences from his childhood, becoming the voice of the Everyman Chicago. Although caustically sarcastic, he never condescended to his readers, he always remembered he was one of them.

Royko began his newsman's career as a columnist for the Naval Air Station Glenview newspaper and the City News Bureau of Chicago before working at the Chicago Daily News as a political reporter, becoming an irritant to the City's Democratic Machine politicians with penetrating and skeptical questions and reports.

I can't think of a single columnist like him today.

Yes, thats what reporting ought to be about - digging out the facts.
But that is precisely what none of them do.
They take the word of any hamashole as unvarnished truth while looking for the slightest fault in the IDF reportings.

I've been enraged again today reading about the story on 'white Phosphorus' - its in the ONT below.

Why do none of the reporters ask the simple question what someone is doing, sitting outside their house, when tehre is an IAF attack on?

Note Little Miss Moonbat who tries to convince the Islamothugs that "we don't need to use violence". Of course, they blow her off. Shape of things to come. If the Islamothugs take over, moonbats, once they get done with the Jews... you're next.

And that is something which is so totally below their horizon, they cannot even think that far.
They have so utterly succumbed to the arab propaganda - if they're told wearing a burqa is a political statement to 'free palestine', they'd do it straightaway!

This is why it's refreshing to see Joe the Plumber. He's gonna call it like he sees it without the filters installed by years of J-school indoctrination.

I'm a big believer in gifted amateurs. Having an Education Degree certainly isn't a formula for being an effective teacher - just look at the dismal state of education today. No offense to teachers but the Education bureaucracy that is responsible for our Education System certainly has made a botch of things.
I would think that the same applies to journalism.

You are entirely correct: these are the stories the media should be doing. Unfortunately, they don't happen to help the side that the MSM is on. So the MSM doesn't give them any play. A "scoop" doesn't matter as much as making sure the right side gets their propaganda out.

And the "wrong" side is properly suppressed.

The media can do as much damage, if not more, by what they suppress as opposed to what they do present.
They have the power to set the agenda on what is and is not discussed and that is a powerful and dangerous tool in the hands of idealogues. Their idealogy has no business being in the news business....period.

I was on a UK news site thread a couple days ago, I think it was an article about the mob violence in London, and many UK/Brit commenters were saying things like "Why won't our government DO anything? O Noes! Why O why?"

I didn't have time, but I thought, "Why don't YOU do something? There comes a time, when the schoolteacher won't stop the bullies from beating you up, and it's obvious that she won't, that she has no inclination to, and even that she is enabling and encouraging the bullies, a time when you must say I WILL DEFEND MY NATION, MY CITY, MY BLOCK, MY HOME."

Many will just curl up into a ball and let the bullies (and the teacher) do whatever harm they wish, all the while whining that the teacher won't do anything. It seems that aside from Israel, the whole of the civilized world is curling up into a ball and whining that their leaders won't DO something.

Subversive thought for the day. I live in a relatively small town, but if pro-pally demonstrators or riotous morons of any other stripe decided that breaking all the windows on Main Street was a plan, I would hope that the men of this town would DO SOMETHING. And not just whine anonymously on some website about the town's government not doing anything.

Where are the men?

re: #260 Taqiyyotomist

Why just men?

"The Israeli air force has released video which it claims shows remotely targeted bombs being directed away from civilians at the last minute. It says it proves it is trying to avoid unnecessary casualties."

Who the hell wrote that caption? Both instances of "it says" are editorial and completely unnecessary clauses. Also completely according to AP/Reuters/AFP template. The paragraph (in my unschooled opinion) should read:

"The Israeli air force has released video which shows remotely targeted bombs being directed away from civilians at the last minute. [The video] proves it is trying to avoid unnecessary casualties."

Zbigniew Brzezinski was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1928. His family had moved from Brzeżany in Galicia. This town is given as the source of his surname. His father was Tadeusz Brzeziński, a Polish diplomat who was posted to Germany from 1931 to 1935; Zbigniew Brzezinski thus spent some of his earliest years witnessing the rise of the Nazis. From 1936 to 1938, Tadeusz Brzeziński was posted to the Soviet Union during Stalin's Great Purge.

In 1938, Tadeusz Brzeziński was posted to Canada. In 1939, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was agreed to by Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union; subsequently the two powers invaded Poland. The 1945 Yalta Conference between the Allies allotted Poland to the Soviet sphere of influence, meaning Brzezinski's family could not safely return to their country.
After attending prep school in Montreal, [5] Brzezinski entered McGill University in 1945 to obtain both his BA and MA degrees (received in 1949 and 1950 respectively). His Master's thesis focused on the various nationalities within the Soviet Union.[6] Brzezinski's plan for doing further studies in Great Britain in preparation for a diplomatic career in Canada fell through, principally because he was ruled ineligible for a scholarship he had won that was only open to persons with British subject status. Brzezinski then went on to attend Harvard University in the United States to work on a PhD, focusing on the Soviet Union and the relationship between the October Revolution, Lenin's state, and the actions of Stalin. He received his doctorate in 1953; the same year, he traveled to Munich and met Jan Nowak-Jezioranski, head of the Polish desk of Radio Free Europe. He later collaborated with Carl J. Friedrich to develop the concept of totalitarianism and apply it to the Soviets in 1956.

This is worth repeating:

According to army estimates (based on intelligence and information obtained by the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration), at least 400 of the palestinians killed are known Hamas operatives. Furthermore, the IDF believes that among the remaining 500, at least half are Hamas operatives. In other words, more than 750 of the 905 dead could well have been Hamas terrorists, which is a starkly different picture to the one being painted by the likes of Hamas, UNRWA, and the world media.

Far from the multitudes of civilian casualties claimed, the overwhelming majority are Hamas turned humus. That's 82.8% of all dead being attributed as Hamas thugs. 100% of those dead were killed because Hamas waged war against Israel.

459 Ron Shaw  Mon, Jan 12, 2009 10:06:38am

Think about it in a somewhat different way...

...what if each of us had a limitless supply of rockets we could launch at our enemies or anyone, any place or any thing in general that was pissing us off at the time? Face it, plenty of folks, places and things need some blowing-up with regularity...after all, one person's target is another person's rocket factory...all that is needed is a stockpile of rockets, a wet-finger in the wind for accuracy, some aim and launch sites to 'send' your messages of dissatisfaction forth. We all have some dissatisfactions. Just think of the changes that might come with some well-placed rockets-of-terror. We can terror-rocket our enemies into oblivion, too. Hell, isn't that what Ayers and Dohrn and crew tried to do back when? And, as we see in Hamas we can be poor and rocket-men, we don't even have to be rich like Ayers and Dohrn to make things go kaboom. All we all need do is forget such outdated concepts which would prohibit us from our personal rocketeering careers. You know concepts like; respect for life, civility, being civilized, possessing useful intelligence for good, an affirmative education, the ability to think rationally, being a positive influence on ones children, the next generation and those of all ages around you, having at least some measure of altruism, love of and for your fellow human being, love of self but not over others, the desire to love first and hate as an absolute last resort, selflessness, cherish life not death and destruction, if religious, then possessing GRA (a good religious attitude), have morals and use them, obey laws locally, nationally and internationally, try decency, begin with caring, sow peace, embrace freedom and expect it, the basic universal right to live, actually love liberty, the shared goal of prosperity through peaceful meaningful discourse, non-violent debate, real potential for reconciliation, accept that your freedom begins and ends at your nose, first and awfully close to foremost, 'do no harm.'

No man, no woman, no child should be subjected to terror at any time anywhere...one rocket ready for launch pointed indiscriminately at innocent citizens is one too many and Israel has the absolute right to defend themselves, to stop the terror and thus the terrorists. Those in America and throughout the world who see this differently are terror-sympathizing, terrorist-enabling rocket launchers, figuratively speaking.

This is worth repeating:

Far from the multitudes of civilian casualties claimed, the overwhelming majority are Hamas turned humus. That's 82.8% of all dead being attributed as Hamas thugs. 100% of those dead were killed because Hamas waged war against Israel.

It is worth repeating - and in the context of this trhead: the MFM are always pointing out how many of the dead are women anf children.
They never ask what then are the other dead?
Nor are we told what is actually a 'child'.

Ya know, for starters.
Guys like JTP aren't sophisticated and in some case that could be a problem, but he asks questions that SOMEBODY oughta be asking! His questions about the Jews dodging rockets weren't sophisticated in "journalistic" terms, but to my knowledge no one in the MSM has ever asked them and they NEED to be asked over and over and over again.

The Honor and Glory of Hamas

Line from Hamas music video contained in a larger Pal. Media Watch of Hamas most offensive broadcasts (which has to be seen to be believed):

The pure blood will produce honor and glory

Well Hamas, looks like all your honor and glory is coming to swift end. Sadly, hundreds of innocent Palestinians ha to die because you fight, like everything else you say you do, "Islamicly." Women and children died because you used them as shields and look at the glorious victory! You have managed to kill a handful of Israeli soldiers and civilians. The Israeli army has you on the ropes despite the fact you say the Koran promises you victory. There's your glory and as for your honor, you have lied and fought like women. Did I mention Jews, lowly Jews, the people you despise and have such contempt for, are the instrument of your defeat.

I just loved watching the video of two of your scum ambushing a some Israeli soldiers with a gun and grenades. Point blank range, with the element of surprise; you would think you might have made at least one widow in such a situation but, a careful viewing shows the IDF men gunning down your gunman and then the enterprising Israeli trooper using your little grenade chucker as a shield. It was a pretty good grenade but your little coward was finally put to good use; his body absorbed the overwhelming majority of the blast, he was not spared by the Creator whom you claim blessed his attack. The Israeli trooper went right back into action to finish hunting your scum down. You should watch the video Hamas, it shows a real warrior in action. Now the man may be an IDF elite troop but he might also be a reservist who usually is a grocer, a programmer or a chef. Whatever he is, he would rather be home with his folks or on the beach at Eilat. Sadly you have this sick funny notion all Jews have to die and he, like me takes exception to that. So he kissed his Mom goodbye, strapped on his gear and followed his nation's call to fight. While there is a chance he still might not come home, at current combat rates, he has a 24 in 100,000 chance of dying while the average Hamas fighter who actually shoots at Israelis has just about a 80% or higher fatality rate. The ones who run as soon as they shoot seem to be living longer.

What will you give to the families to the fools whose heads you filled with your beliefs and sent to die?

Honor in war comes from fighting hard with decency and mercy to the defeated. But you have no honor. You would have the Jews of Israel sold as slaves, that idea has been mentioned by some of your wilder preachers, while Israel fully intends to give Gazans a government that doesn't bring death and destruction to Israelis and Palestinians.

As for your glory. You haven't any of that either. You promised big things to your people; you delivered death, hell and defeat for your people.

Not this particular vote, but an appeasing policy in general was Rice's doing.

It is likely that half the current electorate does not remember the Cold War and has no concept of Communism as anything other than something that existed in bygone times.

If I have gotten a good analysis of the age breakdown of those who voted in the last election, a good chunk only barely remember the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Perestroika of Gorbachev. The horrors of full blown Soviet Aggression for too many of those voting is something only in history books that get vilified by academics and educators.

For that matter Carter and his failure as POTUS is even less known outside of books and articles. *SHUDDER*

I am not absolving Bush, at all.

But Presidents take their cues and their briefings from their Sec of State. I submit that Iran being close to having nukes- something Bush said he would never allow- N Korea getting the better of us- Russia doing its will- and the anti Israel events- would not have occurred if, lets say, Bush's Sec of State had been Bolton.

Are we "bowing down" to Charles by registering and posting here? He is an overnight celeb for many of us, I'll give ya that. And as such, beats the HELL out of many celebs who have "earned" their celebrity status over the last half-century. Neither one is particularly useful for helping her make it over the hurdles she failed to clear this time around. I have to confess, I don't understand why she took the Sec State position. I don't see any up side to it for her.

There might be a spin-off buck or two for her from Bill's likely intrusion into even more contrived profit opportunities.

I planted this comment at the Joe the Plumber listed here: [Link: pajamasmedia.com...]

"A lot of our commenters really need to read the article. Sam did state that he wasn’t there to be the story, but to report on what was going on. His contempt for the MSM is at least honest, and he is asking questions which many have wondered. The fact that it makes you uncomfortable is of no interest to me personally. I’m just wondering what kind of answers he’s getting from the locals.

Really, all that he’s doing is running a internet version of a Vox Pop segement for PJTV, which typically is rough and opinionated anyway.

So he didn’t go to journalism school. Frankly, so what? I went to University for a Criminal Justice and ended up doing IT and Loans work. Was I formally trained in either? No, most of what I picked up was through Osmosis and I’m pretty happy with what I am doing.

And given what the MSM and leftist foaming-at-the-mouth prats did to his private life, I consider this Karma is the best way possible for Sam. And the worst for the cretins populating our J-schools and media outlets.

They are not needed. This is something that can be learned on-hands. It’s the way the republic’s media started. Time for back to basics.

Welcome to the New World (Dis)order"

I'm already on so many lists. One more isn't likely to help or hurt me. unless I can get on the mailing list for that nice man from Nigeria. You know, the one that needs me to help him smuggle $100 million out of the country for a small transaction fee...

That ones easy to get on. Just fill out any sweepstakes form and be sure to include your email.

I've wondered that ever since she was offered the position. There is no upside and all downsides. I don't see it as being of any value at a run for POTUS nor do I see the position as being any better than that of Senator, a position she was re-elected to in 2006. And she failed the people that voted for her by not completing her term instead resigning to take on the SecState position.

As someone with the best education around in my not so humble opinion the destruction of Sarah Palin for being a community college rube was fascinating if sickening to watch. Entirely hilarious is the same media swallowing Princess Kennedy and her sporting degrees from Radcliffe and Columbia Law.

Perhaps you're thinking of Mike Royko? He started out at the Daily News and switched over to the Tribune (before it went into the crapper).

All that mattered to Royko was that he didn't have to change his barstool at the Billy Goat tavern.

I've heard rumbles that some of the Israeli bloggers feel like they could do the job that PJ media sends other people to do from the U.S. One of the only things I have held onto from all the New Age reading I did in the 80s is the concept of Prosperity Thinking. That theory holds that there is enough for all and that the more there is, the more there is. Kind of like when they built the 20-theater complexes and introduced movies on VHS/DVD and everybody thought all of them would go out of business. Actually, the opposite happened and the movie industry boomed (until they became part of the 503 for the dems and put out a preponderance of lowlife libertine movies).

So to Joe tPl, I would suggest calling a meeting of all bloggers in Rehovot or TA or something and introduce each one on PJ so that when you aren't over there, you can interview them remotely for a broadcast. They are already doing that with Allison Kaplan Sommer and Caroline Glick (columnist). There are a bunch more contributing so much (including some on reserve active call up!), like Aussie Dave at Israellycool, Carl in Jerusalem, Imshin not a fish, the guys at Muqata, and more! No bickering, work together, and let Joe the Plumber draw the kind of attention to Israel's home front under rocket fire as they cure cancer (get Joe to go to some of the high tech places with you , Israelis! Calling Israel 21C). The MSM refuses to show the fabulous way Israel has kept blooming...

1. I was hoping there was an embed code for this.

2. I wouldn't write Joe off as biased necessarily - this is a first report, and having a core belief to report from is not a bad thing. - Subsequent reports could include interviews with REAL Palestinians about what they have to live under as a result of THEIR OWN leaders - and you might find that the truth is they aren't happy with Hamas, but feel trapped, that they know and like Israelis, things like that that the MSM stopped reporting on when they decided they hate Bush.

There was a report years ago of a summer camp with equal numbers of Palestinian and Israeli kids, they wanted the world to know that they CAN get along, that they are not that different - there was HOPE for the world back then, until the MSM decided to paint a different picture, a picture of hate.

That's the way I see it - and I guess, in that light, that if joe the Plumber is 'biased' in favor of telling a fair story about the israeli side to balance out the hateful MSM message, that's a good thing.

Telling the story, showing this side, is valid and important.

3. No one in this nation would tolerate more than a few rockets being lobbed into our cities without a full scale retaliation. (I have to say a few because, though it shouldn't take more than one, we have become a nation that is asleep at the wheel.

end rant. :)

yep...if you encounter an obvious propagandistic lie -- people, if they have the time, etc., should complain, demand an explanation -- as with this latest hospital fiasco with CNN (I haven't stopped watching/paying for cable tv -- CNN is bundled in this "package" deal, so I do tune in to CNN -- I believe in Canada, in the future, people will have greater freedom to select individual channels -- as opposed to being signed up to these "packages", then I could drop CNN...)

It is an ASSumption to take people at their word, but that's all I have to go by. I am uncomfortable with the amount of credibility that he is being given. OK, maybe I was a little hyperbolic in that "myths and legends" crack, but I do think that his insights and opinions are being treated with more seriousness than they deserve.

I really don't see much difference between giving JTP's opinions more credence than I do Paris Hilton or Madonna's.

Did I miss Paris and Madonna from Sderot? You schmuck.

Hey, hey--we were once Conquistadors of America & Proud Of It...though must apologize for it ever since...

The Spaniards of today aren't what they were back then.
The Madrid train bombings changed the election results and got the Spanish troops pulled out of Iraq, even though the bombings were planned years earlier and were about getting Andalusia back for the Muslims.

how about Barney Frank? Chris DOdd? Kuchinik? Joe Biden? John FUCKING Kerry?

Caroline Kennedy, and our sociaist POS Nobama?

JTP isn't a corrupt, self-serving putz at all. Which puts him in an entirely different category from those others. I'm not down on the guy, although from the reaction I've gotten from some folks around here you would think I was stomping on the flag or something.

I just have a problem with the way others have taken him with much more seriousness than I think we should.

Nothing benign about a couple of kilograms of high explosives launched into the air and configured to detonate on impact.

That's certainly the way it's worked for gasoline, isn't it? They wanted high prices to discourage consumption, and now want to raise the gas tax because consumption is down. And these folks intend to manage the entire US economy for the next four years.

Their entire philosophy is 'Heads I win, Tails you lose'. Wonderful godammed philosophy - you never have to answer for anything. Global Warming being questioned because the data actually shows it's cooling......no problemo......cooling is a sign of warming or some such horseshit.
What amazes me is that they keep getting away with this shit......but I'm hoping not forever. Eventually the sane ones among us will wake up, organize and then there will be a reckoning.
I am encouraged by the fact that despite the ever growing onslought of liberalism in every aspect of our culture for going on 30+ years now....there is still close to half of us that don't buy their shit. And I think that half is solid and provides a strong base to grow the resistance from........

Via The Muqata:
Ending the West's Proxy War Against Israel
Stop funding a Palestinian youth bulge, and the fighting will stop too.

Recently he said something to the effect that all of the fighting was done by guys born from fighters who would not have had children IF he and his had not FED them!
IF they'd have had to scrounge for food, even if it meant killing someone else to take his, the whole fighting thing would have been over and done with by now.
But ''we'' (Don't include me!) gave them ''free time'' to screw, so they did that instead of finding food or working.
(I know there's got to still be a live link to what he said and how he put it somewhere out there.)

I was afraid of that. He appeared totally ill-prepared in the interview clips I saw prior to his departure for Israel.

I think he said that they killed 'hardly anyone'. To which, a reader here smartly responded "So Buchanen would be ok with someone taking pot-shots at him with a rifle, as long as that person had shitty aim?"
