Anti-Israel Protest in Union Square
It may have been cold and rainy, and Israel may already be pulling out of Gaza, but the show must go on.

I'm just shocked that terrorist are terrorists.
Al-Aksa: We also fought IDF in Gaza
Fatah's armed wing, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades, announced on Monday that its men in the Gaza Strip fired 102 rockets and 35 mortars at Israel during Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip.
The group also said its snipers shot and wounded three IDF soldiers and detonated six explosive devices against Israeli troops.
This was the first time Fatah confirmed that its members had been fighting alongside Hamas during the war. But it's not clear whether the decision to involve the group in the battles was taken by the faction's leadership in the West Bank.
[Link: www.jpost.com...]
Before everyone goes apoplectic remember these are the "armed" wing of the "good terrorists who are supported and funded and trained by the United States.
Wait. I'm confused. If this is the armed wing of the "good" terrorists have Bush and Rice been arming the unarmed wing?
Never mind. They're all good terrorists.
Obama will sort it out.

I swear by God this sacred oath that I shall render unconditional obedience to Adolf Hitler, the Führer of the German Reich and people, supreme commander of the armed forces, and that I shall at all times be ready, as a brave soldier, to give my life for this oath.

Ich schwöre: Ich werde dem Führer des Deutschen Reiches und Volkes Adolf Hitler treu und gehorsam sein, die Gesetze beachten, und meine Amtspflichten gewissenhaft erfüllen, so wahr mir Gott helfe.
I swear: I will be faithful and obedient to Adolf Hitler, Führer of the German Reich and people, to observe the law, and to conscientiously fulfil my official duties, so help me God.

re: #73 buzzsawmonkey
To extremely religious Orthodox Jews, Jews do not have a right to re-establish a nation in the Land of Israel until the Messiah comes and does this.
If I may let me make one correction. Plenty of extremely Orthodox do support Israel. But I guess it's how you define "extremely".
These particular people are members of sects with "charismatic" leaders who tell them what to do and think.
Our Christian friends should also recognize that such sects are inherently strange.

Maybe they should get one?
And if they have the excuse of being in school, shouldn't they be reviewing things like derivatives and integrals, or quantum mechanics, or something?
Or are they not bright enough for that, so they just spend their time in classes that preach ferocious anti-semitism?
Hey, there's an idea. Make those really difficult classes part of the main curriculum and hold them to it, so they won't have time to pull this sort of shit!

It makes sense if you get into their specific mindset. It's a mitzvah to live on the Land. They just believe that someone else should control the government. They would prefer to live in an Arab-controlled Israel, but you take what you can get.
