Sirius 12 "The Pulse" is a great stream. I grew up listening to YES and ELP, plus the Who and Beatles/Stones. But Sirius 12 has introduced me to a lot of current pop acts that are making great music.

There was, you see, another Alexander Chang in the computer already. When I first got the kid's file, I actually called my supervisor over to ask why the kid was called Alexander2.

"We just call him Alex2", she explained kindly.

Worst part is that his MOTHER, when she's at the center, calls him Alex2. She'll actually go up to the desk and say "Hi, I'm Alex2 Chang's mom, is he ready to leave?"

Thanks. We're basically on public transit until the spouse gets work. It's not too bad where we are, but it makes groceries a pain. OTOH, one of my college friends has moved back into the neighborhood, so I may be able to trade dishwashing for grocery hauling or something.

Maybe I can get the two episodes (before last night) of 24. Hubby records two or three shows a night and doesn't mark them. We know where the one from last night is but I don't want to see it until we find the other two episodes.

Several other shows too, and a smattering of old seasons, and a bunch of movies.

Good quality, really elegant player that does not kill your CPU.

Yep, and most of the networks, like comedy central, but also the broadcast networks; Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, have their shows up a few hours after they air, some in HD quality if your computer can handle it.

I caught a whole season of Lost that way.

My only complaint is that the networks frequently change their players for no apparent reason, and can tend to skip sometimes.. which is why I do hulu. Their player agrees with my video card the most, but still looks great.

I've used Hulu quite a bit. Has a problem with caching or bandwidth. Great place to catch olds shows like Simon and Simon or Rockford Files. Some good old movies here and there.
