Somewhat more than 50-50 (it’s sunny and in the 60s here, was rainy the last few days).

Just read a Letter to the Editor. The writer is really compalaing about the negative letters about Obama. He say’s that BHO is not being given a chance & no more iof those letters should be published, you know cause Obama is just cleaning up after Bush.
Hmmm, how much time did the Left give Bush? Actually none, they got on him about the Florida recount before he was actuallly declared the winner.
Then they went into “Selected not Elected”& it went down hill from there.

Since tomorrow is St. Patrick’s day, here’s something to start off the festivities.

An Irish man is driving down to New York
and gets stopped for speeding.
The state trooper smells alcohol on the man’s breath
and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car.

He says, “Sir, have you been drinking?”

“Just water,” says the man.

The trooper says, “Then why do I smell wine?”

The man looks at the bottle and says,
“Good Lord! He’s done it again!”

38 sattv4u2  Mon, Mar 16, 2009 3:25:06pm

A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead all work at the same office for a female boss who always goes home early.
“Hey, girls,” says the brunette one day, “let’s go home early tomorrow. She’ll never know.”

So the next day, they all leave right after the boss does. The brunette gets some extra gardening done, the redhead goes to a bar, and the blonde goes home to find her husband having sex with the female boss.

She quietly sneaks out of the house and vows to return home at her normal time the next day.
In the morning, the brunette says: “That was fun, we should do it again sometime.”

“No way,” says the blonde. “I almost got caught.”

Here are the latest instructions from Ear Leader*:

Organizing for America
Xxxxx —

The current debate in Washington over President Obama’s budget has made one thing clear — ensuring our long-term prosperity won’t come without a fight.

Partisan voices and special interests are showing real resistance to President Obama’s call for making the necessary reforms and investments in energy, health care, and education. That’s why we need to bring the conversation back into homes and communities across America.

Last week, thousands of you pledged your support for the President’s economic plan and encouraged your friends and family to join you in a national display of support. Now I need you to take the next step.

This weekend, supporters like you are organizing Pledge Project Canvasses to talk to people in their communities about this plan and mobilize support in neighborhoods across the country.

Host or attend a Pledge Project Canvass in your neighborhood this weekend.

It’s absolutely crucial that Americans hear from you about this plan — we can’t leave this important debate up to a Washington establishment that doesn’t welcome change.

It’s up to you to show Washington that Americans are demanding this new direction and won’t stand on the sidelines while our country’s future is at stake.

On these canvasses, you’ll join fellow supporters in your community to:

* Talk with people about the President’s plan
* Ask them to sign their names to the pledge
* Provide information on how to contact and urge their elected representatives to support the plan

Host or attend a canvass this weekend:

[link disabled]

Nothing is more powerful than having people hear from ordinary Americans about the vision President Obama has laid out for our country. Join us this weekend.

Thanks,

Mitch

Mitch Stewart
Director
Organizing for America

* did you coin that, redc1c4? I love it!

One more to get in the mood for St. Patrick’s day.

Several Irishmen were sitting in a pub having beer
and watching the brothel across the street.
They saw a Baptist minister walk into the brothel,
and one of them said, “Aye, ‘tis a shame to see a man
of the cloth goin’ bad.”

Then they saw a Rabbi enter the brothel,
and the other Irishman said, “Aye, ‘tis a shame to
see one of the Lord’s chosen ones falling’ victim to temptation.”

Then they saw a Catholic priest enter the brothel,
and one of the Irishmen said, “What a terrible pity…
one of the girls must be quite ill..”

JACKSON TO HAVE BODY STUFFED BY DOCTOR DEATH

MICHAEL Jackson will achieve his dream of immortality by being stuffed with plastic by Dr Death.

The King Of Pop, who calls himself Peter Pan, has had a string of cosmetic surgery ops to try to defy the ageing process.

But he is now preparing to strike the ultimate blow against death and decay by having his whole body “plastinated” by controversial doctor Gunther von Hagens.

Iraqi fan shoots, kills soccer player attempting tying goal in close game south of Baghdad

Police say an Iraqi soccer player has been shot dead just as he was about to kick what could have been the tying goal in a weekend game south of Baghdad.

Police Maj. Muthanna Khalid says a striker from the Buhairat amateur team was facing only the goalie during a Sunday match in Hillah when a supporter of the rival Sinjar club shot him in the head in the final minute of play.

About 2,000 mostly black kids got to excape to decent charter schools using vouchers worth $7,500 versus nearly $24,000 public schools charge to line their teachers union’s pockets.

Living in SoCal, every golf course I see is surrounded by homes with red Spanish tile roofs. Mrs. Hawk was an insurance adjuster when we met, and had loads of fun explaining to homeowners that each hit was a claim, with its own deductible. They couldn’t wait until they had ten broken roof tiles and then make a single damage claim. Many unhappy homeowners.

Man gets trapped in dog food silo in Lower Valley

EL PASO, Tx. - A 49-year-old man was trapped in a silo filled with dog food for about 30 minutes Monday morning, El Paso Fire Department officials said.

Eight fire units responded to the scene about 11:20 a.m. The man became trapped up to his shoulders while conducting maintenance on the silo in the 400 block of Inglewood in the Lower Valley, officials said.

The man was an employee for Pets Barn. Pets Barn employees tried to pull him out, but when were not able to, they called the Fire Department. A hole was cut on the side of the silo to allow some of the dog food to drain out.

The man was evaluated at the scene by fire medical personnel but he did not want to be transported to the hospital.

No injuries were reported.

Heh.

Cleveland Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich wants the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to investigate allegations by investigative reporter Seymour Hersh that the White House operated an ‘executive assassination ring’ during the presidency of George W. Bush.

Hoosier…I was surprised that MD only graduates 10%. I expected more from Gary Williams.

Md has put a lot of kids in the pro’s..here..Europe..every where..
If my kid has a chance for a multimillion dollar contract and doesn’t take it? I’m flushing his head down a sink…Those kids aren’t dumb..neither are their parents…You take the money…

I do not think so. I think a bunch become academically ineligible and just wash out. Very few players (statistically irrelevant) go pro early and leave.

I could be wrong.

That’s a good point about the Academically Ineligible players.

Obama knows that the military doesn’t support him and he won’t get many votes from them at all. I think its his way of tossing us under the bus for having the audacity to not fall at his feet and worship him as our emperor. He can screw the military 9 ways to Sunday and it costs him very little politically. What an a—hole.

The photo seems to be of a laundry truck, probably damaged in the blast.

At this point it’s hard to figure out whether it was actually caused by the catering truck or something inside the diaper place. Either way, it’s terrible. One of the injured was inside the building and one was in the alley outside, according to the scanner. They are still not letting Channel 4 in there to talk to the firemen, etc.
