My life is much to dull for me to inflict it on others via Twitter, but this is very cool for those who have it.

4 Sharmuta  Tue, Mar 24, 2009 10:26:21am

*sigh* Is it that difficult to pay attention, or even scroll down the front page?

5 lawhawk  Tue, Mar 24, 2009 10:26:30am

I'm trying to figure out how to send automatic feeds to Twitter when I post new content to my blog, but haven't found a way to do it (or the time to futz with my blog). Any ideas?

Some people do like the ability to get this stuff via twitter... gotta keep the people happy. Or at least wanting more...

No- that's not my point. My point was concerning people emailing Charles to ask about it when he's already done two front page posts about being on Twitter.

9 justacanuck  Tue, Mar 24, 2009 10:29:17am

Charles -- add a wee Twitter button to your front page. That'll tell 'em.

You know, Robert Spencer is speaking at my university this evening, and the school newspaper published a pre-speech editorial basically calling him names like islamophobe while never mentioning a single lie that Spencer has ever spoken. The left loves to do this sort of marginializing by namecalling. It’s easier than having to argue with facts.

I don’t really follow Alex Jones, so maybe he deserves all this bashing, but I don’t really want us to fall into the same camp. If his facts are wrong, refute those.

The new Zogby internet poll we were discussing is out.
"The latest Zogby Interactive poll (released today) measuring the mood of the nation toward President Barack Obama and the nation’s direction shows some mixed results.

Under our long-standing measure of job performance (excellent, good, fair, poor), Obama’s positive ratings have dipped just below 50%. Likely voters choosing excellent or good fell three points from another Zogby Interactive poll concluded on March 5, going from 52% to 49% excellent or good; while 11% said fair and 38% poor.

His positive ratings (measured as very favorable, somewhat favorable, somewhat unfavorable and very unfavorable) are now 56% very or somewhat favorable, just one-point below that of March 5.

On the bright side for Obama is an increase to 45% of likely voters agreeing the nation is headed in the right direction. In a Jan. 8 interactive poll, only 14% chose right direction. That percentage has moved up: 26% on Jan. 26, 40% on March 5 and is now 45%."

The dream was running for, and getting elected, POTUS. He doesn't actually like the job. This is why we didn't trust his inexperience.

He keeps dreaming up reasons to be away from the White House.
It is like he has a phobia to work.
He is a big picture guy with no grasp of ,or interest in details.

Barack Obama is one clever dude, operating with the shill and charm of the aluminum-siding salesman from the South Side of Chicago. The difference between the president and the real thing is that the aluminum-siding salesman makes his jokes about handicapped children off-camera.

I couldn't agree more with you. He tries to be all things to all people, meanwhile, not even knowing who he really is himself. Sad. What's even more sad is that he is in charge of the greatest nation on earth. Please, God Bless America!

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano is doubling the number of law enforcement officers at the border to combat spillover violence from Mexican drug gang wars, and may ask for National Guardsmen to join the effort.

While that may sound like a good thing, she's re-assigning people from immigration, worksite, and customs enforcement. Also, it appears the spillover violence ... hasn't actually spilled over.

re: #93 JohnAdams

yma: tried to catch you yesterday. You mentioned cross-breed border collies. What breed do they cross them with.

Ahem.
Its unintentional, usually depends on what other dog is around.
Sometimes labradors, Springer Spaniels - depends on what other dogs the farmer has.
When people do try to do a proper cross-breeding, they go for Greyhound&Border Collie, to get a Lurcher.
Big Dog had all the greedy bits of the Labrador, and some Springer Spaniel, Madame is 50% Border Colie, 50% Whippet.
One can recognise the different breeds in theor behaviour.

But, as I said, its mostly happening by accident, not on purpose.

How convenient. Pull everybody who's actually doing something, and stick them on the border, so they can twiddle their thumbs.

Mr. Obama would make a pretty convert, all right, but he apparently said at an early age in Indonesia that he didn't want any of that Islamic stuff. He would respect it, but he wouldn't swallow it, and besides, hiding Michelle under a tent would deprive us all of a royal treat.

Funny stuff...

Remember the campaign, how they set up his appearances so he could do the long GQ walk to the podium before his adoring masses? That was what it was all about for him. I seriously believe he's an empty suit and his administration is just firing guns off without any real plan. A rudderless band of corrupt snakes and bitter ideologues.

A ha..."natural" cross-breeding. I love the Border Collie but am mindful that they need serious occupation. I do not live on a farm. It would be great to cross one with a breed that is a bit more laid back.
