YouTube Restores James Randi Foundation Account
Some small good news this morning: the James Randi Foundation account has been restored on YouTube.
Phil Plait explains that the problem was apparently related to a copyright complaint about video footage: The JREF YouTube Account is back online!
However, some videos that should be deleted, not due to copyright violations but out of sheer human decency, remain; for example, this psychotic antisemitic video and hundreds just like it. There are accounts on YouTube that post this kind of sick garbage regularly, and YouTube seems to have no interest at all in acting responsibly about them.
