Jingle Bombs

World • Views: 2,528

Michael Yon has interesting photos of Pakistani “jingle trucks” turned into vehicles for weapons smugglers—exposed by man’s best friend: Jingle Bombs, Jingle Bombs.

Soldiers call these colorful beasts “jingo trucks” because of all the chains and bells that make them sound like road chimes. Jingle trucks ply the roads of places like Nepal, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, often dangerously overloaded with just about anything imaginable. Like explosives and blasting caps, for instance.

Speaking of the military...

I have an important question that I'm sure someone here can answer. I just received a lovely personalized coffee mug in the mail, unsolicited, from a group called the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. I believe they got my information from the USO, where I made a donation last year. I've never heard of these folks, and I know that an unsolicited gift does not require me to make a donation. I checked Guidestar and they have an organization of the same name listed in Zachary, LA, although this came from a Washington, DC post office box. Other than that, there's no information. I suspect it's one of these deals where 90% of the funds go to fundraising and salaries, so I am inclined not to donate.

Dashing through the sand
with a bomb strapped to my back.
I have a nasty plan
for Christmas in Iraq.
I got through checkpoint A,
but not through checkpoint B.
That's when I got shot in the ass
by the US Military...

[it's not funny!]

Oooh, jingle bombs, jingle bombs
Mine blew up you see.
Where are all the virgins
that Bin Laden promised me?
Oooh, jingle bombs, jingle bombs
U.S. soldiers shot me dead.
The only thing that I have left
is this towel up on my head.

I used to be a man,
but every time I cough,
thanks to Uncle Sam,
my nuts keep falling off.
My bombing days are done.
I need to find some work.
Perhaps it would be much safer
as a convenient store night clerk.

Oooh, jingle bombs, jingle bombs
I think I got screwed.
Don't laugh at me because I'm dead
or I'll kill you...

I KILL YOUOUOU!

Chicks and ducks and kafir better scurry
When I take you out in the surrey
When I take you out in the surrey
In the jingle trucks

Watch that fringe and see how it flutters
When I drive them high steppin' strutters
Nosey pokes'll peek thru their shutters
And their eyes will pop

The wheels are yellow, the upholstery's brown
The dashboard's genuine leather (not pig)
With isinglass curtains y' can roll right down
In case there's a premature ignition

Here we go again with a tea party supposedly being "shut down" by the city of Burleson, Texas:

[Link: www.freedomworks.org...]

Except that ... uh ...

City of Burleson is not shutting down Burleson Tea Party.

The committee expressed its safety concerns to representatives of the Tea Party group. Principally, the City’s concerns are public safety vehicle access to the adjacent residential neighborhood and the impact on safe traffic movement on State Highway 174 which runs adjacent to the area where the Tea Party is requested to take place.

The City did not attempt to stop the event or prevent the event from being held in the city.

Today, the City has placed calls to representatives of the Tea Party in hopes of resolving the City’s concerns and identifying a location for the Tea Party to occur. As of the time this press release is being issued, the City has not yet received a return call from the Tea Party group.

This is the second case in which tea party organizers claimed victimhood and suppression by the evil establishment, when these city governments were simply trying to be responsible.

I'm willing to give them a break. I'm sure during at least a couple conversations with city leaders that the idea was put foward to ban it.

Dont think thats a bad thing. The left has raised the bar as far as to how low you can possibly go. The right is just following behind .. definitely trailing.

We want to jump over the bar, not tunnel under it like the left does. We're suppose to be better than them.

I've been following the Tea Party, and like what I've seen thus far, in terms of the premise.
Still can't understand why a permit is needed to assert a Constitutional right of PEACEABLE assembly.
I think that in such an assembly, the participants MUST assume responsibility for their actions. Given the nature of said participants, I feel it's unlikely that any of them are wild-eyed anarchists.
Having said that, the idea that Stormfront is attempting to co-opt the idea is nauseating. THAT is a matter of much more concern than permits, imho.

CNS News:

Asked specifically about the president’s Monday announcement that federal tax dollars would guarantee the warranties of all new Chrysler and GM cars during the period they are undergoing restructuring, Frank said, “Do the words ‘I’m not very well informed on it’ have any meaning to you? Am I speaking a language you don’t understand?”

Given that GM received billions in TARP funds and that as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee he oversees TARP funds, Frank should probably be much better informed about what's going on.

The methods of the anti-mosque movement have been studied by far-right groups in other countries, like Austria's FPÖ ("Austrian Freedom Party") and Belgium's Vlaams Belang ("Flemish Interest") party. In November, Markus Beisicht gave a special presentation on the Cologne movement to FPÖ members in Graz. "We will lead our fight across Europe," he told them, "whether it's in Graz, Cologne or Vienna." He's invited friends from the FPÖ, Vlaams Belang and France's National Front to a big "Anti-Islam Congress" in Cologne next September.

Right on! What they should be doing is throwing the entire Obama Administration into Boston Harbor. Much classier, and historically referential.

As much as I want to agree with you, I can't. If there's one thing I learned in my American Government class, it's this: as long we as American citizens have pathways to change, revolution shouldn't be an option. Call it mutually assured destruction. If conservatives start violently overthrowing the government, liberals can do the same thing. That's a line that should not be crossed until absolutely necessary. Once you stop respecting the rule of law, anything goes. Elections are only one means to effect change, and right now it's probably the least effective. You would be better off following the court pathway, grassroots, or lobbying. Conservatives feel overwhelmed because liberals are very very good at pursuing every pathway to change.

Ah but you are missing the point .. the Tea Party represents the right beginning to organize - albeit rag taggedly but nonetheless people that normally sit in their climate controlled homes watching CSI are pulling out the Magic Markers and making signs and getting out and protesting. If they do that, they are likely to vote ,... and that dear Kilgore scares the hell out of the left.

I'm not advocating being stupid like the left but they have been in a comfort zone for a long time with their protests going unchallenged by any action from the right. It is not a bad thing to generate awareness that there is an opposition in this country. It is certainly not being provided by weak kneed Republicans in Congress.

These are everyday people, totally unacustomed to street protest. They're the ones who labor each day at real jobs--the backbone of the country, if you will. Can you not understand the motivation generated here?

I was in San Francisco prior to the election and it was everything Obama...largely hand-written signs. I am talking these things were all over the place! I've never seen anything like it.

Exactly. I grew up in the Bay Area btw- one thing I learned along time ago is you can't think too deep on issues like these. The point is to tap into people's emotions; fear, injustice, anger, and play on it. The left has been doing that for years " The Man is holding you down" type of thing. When our side learns how to play that game we will see people start protesting ie; Tea Parties, and maybe win some elections. Trying to distort this with logic and common sense only defeats the purpose. You want to show those in elected office that you can generate enough emotion that will push people out to the polls. That's how you get politicians to begin to lead moderately, for they fear the tipping point. What I have found unusual about BO is that I doubt he fears going to far left- my perception is that he only intends to be in office for 4 years for his agenda is radically left and he can accomplish much, destroy much, in just four years. He will shape the political base far past his tenure, into a society that is government dependent.

Once you stop respecting the rule of law, anything goes.

Ask our Lizards how many local elections were outright stolen by ACORN last November.

Ask ciaospirit how cowardly are the people charged with upholding the "rule of law."

The rule of law ceased as a de facto power in January. It just took the AIG contracts to make it obvious. The "law" is now just a masque for whatever purpose the thieves and thugs in Congress need it to be.

Yes, I'm fucking cynical.

By itself no, but as a beginning yes. I agree with you that we have to harness the instant communication to the masses.

We can be as mature as we can, John Mc Cain is mature ,, but BO tapped into emotion. Pains me to say it (stick a needle in my eye pain) but he knew how to get people energized (unfortunately). For a brief moment it looked like Palin was going to accomplish the same thing and that scared them and they came out barrels blazing and had their pit bull, the MSM, destroy her.

I don't give a flying rat's ass what "they" think or find funny. Fuck them.

Mine too. Don't we have a right to assembly?

In my town, I think the protest is planned to be spread out along the main streets. It's to show signs to passerby's, not to gather in a big self-congratulatory wank-off in a park. I could be under the wrong impression, though. How concentrated does a gathering need to be, to be under the City's control, I wonder? Are we "allowed" to stand on the street of our choice and hold a sign if we are an isolated group? In this day and age, I doubt it-

Am I going? Yeah. Why? To let the world know that I think the direction this country is going could not be more alarming. Calls and letters are not having a big effect, as our reps are doing whatever the hell they want anyway. Plus in my state they are all Democrats now anyway. Debate as an option? Of course, that continues, but in the age of Hannity chaos and crying Wolf, real, exceptional concerns just get lost in the background noise. Do I want to be anywhere near Ron Paulians and Neo-Nazi's? No way, but am I willing to see how it goes without being cynical in the first place. Yeah.

I looked a little further and the company is financed by the Muslim Commercial Bank Ltd.

[description of explosive]

Emulite -150 / Emulite -150(G)

This cap sensitive explosive has plastic consistency and is very suitable for achieving high loading density. Its has excellent blasting properties. It can be used as bottom charge for any kind of blasting. Due to its consistency and high water resistance it can be confidently employed for deep under water blasting.

TECHNICAL DATA EMULITE-150

Density 1.25 g/cc
Gas Volume 830 lit. / Kg
V.O.D (unconfined) 5000 - 5500 m/sec
Sensitivity Detonator No. 8

[That would be good enough for a suicide bomber]

Board of directors:

Lt. Gen. Syed Sabahat Husain: Chairman

Mr. Rolf Ekberg: Vice Chairman

Mr. Syed Naseem Raza: Director

Mr. Feroze Khan Malik: Director

Mr. Shahid Ahmed: Director

Mr. Aftab Iqbal: Director

Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Tishna: Director (N.I.T Nominee)

Mr. Shabbir Ahmed: Chief Executive

[Auditors and bankers]

Auditors: Anjum Asim Shahid Rehman & Co. Chartered Accountants

Legal Advisors: The Law Firm of Basit Musheer

Bankers: Muslim Commercial Bank Ltd. and Askari Commercial Bank Ltd.

Registered Office: G.T Road, Wah Cantt.

Phones (+92-51) 5568760

[country code 92 is Pakistan]

Do you need a license to buy said explosive from the company? Who bought the explosive and why isn't the company punished?

If this type of explosive is freely circulating one can only guess if the same is happening with Pakistan's nukes. A truck could carry a small gun type nuke.
