LGF on Glenn Beck

I still don’t have a working cable TV connection in my new top-secret underground facility, so I missed Glenn Beck’s show today (I wouldn’t have been watching anyway, to be honest), but I understand from several lizardoid reports that Beck had some things to say about me.

Apparently he claimed that the woman in the video I posted who shouted “Burn the books!” was a leftist infiltrator. Leaving aside this claim (which is unsupported by any real evidence), I guess we’re supposed to ignore the fact that the audience at that “Glenn Beck tea party” actually applauded when she shouted this. And we’re supposed to ignore the speaker ranting about digital cable boxes being “brainwashing devices,” and spouting John Birch Society talking points. And we’re supposed to ignore the moderator, promoting the extreme right-wing/libertarian/Dominionist Constitution Party.

Never mind all that. Hey, look over there! It’s an infiltrator!

UPDATE at 4/16/09 5:19:17 pm:

Here’s the video. The segment where Beck attacks me starts at about 7:45.

Notice how Beck sneers out the words “jazz musician,” as if they were some kind of mortal insult — as if being an alcoholic, weeping, ranting, creationist talk show host who idolizes John Birchers and Ron Paul is a real accomplishment, but practicing diligently for years, earning several gold records, and touring and recording with some of the world’s top musicians is worthy of derision and scorn.

And then this freak has the gall to compare himself to Martin Luther King Jr.

Glenn Beck is a punk.
