arabs call on international media

Sometimes it seems the Arab world is afflicted with a variation of Tourette’s Syndrome that causes them to suddenly emit stupidly anti-Semitic remarks, even when they should be trying to present a reasonable, tolerant face to the infidels. At the NYT, Arab Jew-obsession surfaces again in this story about that $20 million Arab media campaign. Of course, the whole campaign itself is delusional, but apparently Amr Moussa and the Arab League would like to put every man, woman, child, dog, cat, and insect in Israel on trial for war crimes—and they expect international media to help:

The secretary general of the league, Amr Moussa, who attended the meeting, warned Wednesday that Israel had already taken the lead by preparing to start an Arabic-speaking channel on June 25.

The statement called on Arab and international news media to “engage in an organized effort to gather evidence of Israeli war crimes in order to put Israeli generals, officers and settlers on trial before international courts.”
