Hillary Clinton has assured Lebanese President Michael Suleiman that the US will never sell out Lebanon.

BEIRUT (AP) — Ahead of an election that could oust the U.S.-backed Beirut government, America’s top diplomat said Sunday that Washington supports “voices of moderation” and never will make a deal [with] Syria that “sells out” Lebanon’s interests.

Following the news conference, Suleiman started packing his bags for an extended vacation in the south of France.

The idea is that the population is anti-American, so by openly endorsing the pro-American factions in Lebanon, she is doing them political harm.

36 That's Mr. President to you  Sun, Apr 26, 2009 6:01:16pm

When Hillary says "We won't sell you out" what she means is that we won't demand a high price.

Fact is we won't sell Lebanon's democracy out. I plan to give it away in hopes that the mullahs in Iran might unclench their fists.

If that doesn't work I will send Hillary to Tehran. She is likeable enough. And I am sure that Michelle can set her up with a designer that can come up with a Burka styled Pantsuit.

the next war starts 5, 4, 3, ...

53 DistantThunder  Sun, Apr 26, 2009 6:06:15pm
t had been gradually getting overcast, and now the sky was dark and lowering, save where the glory of the departing sun piled up masses of gold and burning fire, decaying embers of which gleamed here and there through the black veil, and shone redly down upon the earth. The wind began to moan in hollow murmurs, as the sun went down carrying glad day elsewhere; and a train of dull clouds coming up against it, menaced thunder and lightning. Large drops of rain soon began to fall, and, as the storm clouds came sailing onward, others supplied the void they left behind and spread over all the sky. Then was heard the low rumbling of distant thunder, then the lightning quivered, and then the darkness of an hour seemed to have gathered in an instant.

If I was a betting person, I think Hezbollah and Ahmadinejad are going to big wins in the upcoming elections.

In fact, the only thing holding Netanyahu back is the possibility of peaceful Iranian alignment. In fact, the only good thing about Obama strategy, if you can call it that, is it gives the hard core no ability to give the US as an excuse for their tyrannical leadership. But Hezbollah and Iran live to rig elections, I would not be surprised if they even helped Hugo Chavez in his efforts a couple months back.

Never had a doubt in the beginning
Never a doubt
Trusted you true in the beginning
I loved you right through

On and on we laughed like kids
At all the silly things we did

You made me promises, promises
Knowing I'd believe
Promises, promises
You knew you'd never keep

Second time around, I'm still believing
The words that you said
You said you'd always be here
And love forever still repeats in my head

You can't finish what you start
If this is love it breaks my heart

You made me promises, promises
You knew you'd never keep
Promises, promises
Why do I believe?

On and on we laughed like kids
At all the silly things we did
But you can't finish what you start
If this is love it breaks my heart

You made me promises, promises
You knew you'd never keep
Promises, promises
Why do I believe
All of your promises
You knew you'd never keep
Promises, promises
Why do I believe?

Looks like another U.S. president is going to hand over another country to the terrorists.
The frightening part of this fisaco is that Jimmy Carter had less than a year to go in his disastrous administration when he gave oil rich U.S. ally Iran over to the mad mullahs. In quick order, we had Reagan to keep the barbarians in line.
This time, we've got more than three years of Obamanation to cuddle and cower with whatever government our leaders let Hezbollah install in Lebanon... maybe more than 7 years.
