Egyptian Child Abuse

Video • Views: 3,363

Since Barack Obama has announced that he plans to address the Muslim world from Egypt in early June, perhaps he could raise the subject of television shows like this one, broadcast on Egyptian/Saudi channel Al-Hafez TV on April 27, 2009, featuring a smiling, jovial host indoctrinating Arab children to hate and murder Jews. It's justification through recruiting. If we all hate the Jews, it's them, not us. You see this same phenomenon in a lot of things: people who are doing wrong often try to get others to copy them.

The fact that the Jews are living happy, successful lives (on average) cannot be the by-product of a culture that focuses on life and creation, could it? Of course not.

21 Russkilitlover  Wed, May 13, 2009 11:08:40am

And these are the folks that Israel has already made peace with.

Keep in mind that these are the so-called moderates in the Middle East.

The Palestinians produce stuff that is beyond the pale in comparison. And they are actively seeking Israel's destruction.

All these people feeding the hate are... what's the word I'm looking for...

Evil.

Yes, they're evil. They're indoctrinating kids into hating and seeking destruction and wanton murder and unending violence because Israel exists. You want peace? Start by dealing with the indoctrination of the next generation of Arab kids into seeking Israel's destruction.

The PA was supposed to stop that kind of thing, but never did.

But we're constantly reminded that it is Israel that must make concessions in the name of peace. What are these people giving up in the name of peace? Nothing.

The Prophet said: Judgment Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the stones and trees will say: "Oh Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him." Except for what tree?
Muhammad: The Zaqum tree.
TV host: No, the gharqad tree. This tree can be found all over Israel. they plant it so that they can hide behind it, because they know that it will not tell on them when they hide behind it.

Given The One's "Bend Over And Apologize" foreign policy, I'd say it's a fair bet he'll apologize for the Jews resistance to being killed, Israel being the only advanced and civilized country in the Middle East and the United States supporting Israel and forcing the Muslims to indoctrinate their children with pure hate. Then he'll yell "Allah Ackbar" and join his brothers in a rousing chant of "Death To America."

Asking the Israelis to make peace with the Arab world is a lot like asking the black community to make peace and happily accept the KKK as equal neighbors.

Vicious and visceral hate is rooted in Arab culture, media, school curricula and religious instruction, available for all to see. As we pretend that part of Arab cultural norms are acceptable forms of expression, no one has the right to tell the Israelis what and what is not in their best interest. This is especially true when it comes to matters of security or existential threats posed to the State of Israel.

The long time Arab world promise to 'We'll finish what Hitler started' is offensive to us and all civilized people as it is to the Israelis. The Arab world needs to learn that kind of behavior will be rejected by the civilized world.

Muslim BBC religion job 'insult'

The BBC's appointment of a Muslim as head of religion and ethics is insulting to Christians, an Ulster Unionist assembly member has said.

Retired Presbyterian minister Dr Robert Coulter said the appointment of Aaqil Ahmed was "a juvenile gimmick".

"According to the Church of England 70% of the UK are Christian, 3% are Muslim yet the BBC for its head of religious broadcast appoints a Muslim," he said.

Heh.

Obama is playing and pandering to so many distinct constituencies that he can't keep track of his position from day to day. He had to back the military and CIA on this one because he's already ruffled feathers with his calls to cut military tech purchases, and the war with the CIA over the interrogations continues and the CIA pushback wasn't expected by the WH, even though it was obvious that a bureaucracy like the CIA will always look to protect its own.

One day Obama panders to the ACLU/Answer/Code Pink far left, and the next he realizes he's got to back the military. It's so bad it will give you whiplash.

[Link: www.haaretz.com...]

I've seen this in a few threads now. I'd like to read a complete transcript of what the Pope said, but it looks like he chose his words carefully. In his defense, I would actually agree with him that the separation barrier is a "symbol of stalemate." It's a concrete reminder (literally) that Arabs have not yet accepted the existence of Jews living in the Middle East, and have vowed to kill any Jew that they can get their hands on. And so these barriers must be built. They have saved many hundreds of Arab and Jewish lives.

I see that the Pope would like for the barrier to be torn down one day. I don't think anyone would disagree with that. Has he said that he'd like the barrier to be removed right now? I didn't see that he did. But if he did, then he's placing himself on the side of genocidal violence, and that would be unfortunate.

Translation: "The President can no longer dodge the fact that we are cherry-picking which information to release based on politics rather than national interest. Former VP Dick Cheney's demands that we release all information pertinent to the topic has driven us into a corner and forced us to restrict access to any such information until we can formulate a more expedient way to pillory our political opponents, such as selective, well timed leaks."

That and if you try fucking with the Military any more you will regret it.

May Pres. Obama be a fast learner, in areas where President Bush was right.

That's fine but he is still an amateur and a dangerous one to boot. The mixed messages that his flipflops put out to the rest of the world, and mainly to our enemies, puts us all in peril.

Since Barack Obama has announced that he plans to address the Muslim world from Egypt in early June, perhaps he could raise the subject of television shows like this one

He could. . .but he certainly won't.

Obama seems far more interested in criticizing the USA and apologizing for past American actions, than in criticizing the Arab world.

I'm still waiting for Obama to articulate anything even close to a strategy for preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. . .that is, anything OTHER than his current strategy, which seems to be apologizing and asking nicely.

I think not releasing them is the right thing to do as long as he isn't going to accede to Cheney's request and release related documents detailing the benefits of some of the techniques employed. I'm a big boy, and I can handle all of the information, thanks; no need to spoon-feed me only one side of it.

Obama capitulating?

Sorry, but this sucks. Totally. After announcing that they will not prosecute low level war crime suspects, the Obama administration now changes direction and decided that they will block the publication of photographs showing the abuse of prisoners by US soldiers.

...Obama is capitulating to right-wingers. And here are a few simple questions: Why is Bushs' secretary of defense, Gates, still secretary of defense? Why are we still in Iraq?

I have given money to the Obama campaign and supported him anyway I could. I want him to succeed. But it is now becoming obvious that he can not bring real change. He either does not have the power or the willingness to do so.

Heh.

Its not a question of capitulating to the Right, but rather doing what's right.

The "right" thing is NOT to air every bit of the USA's dirty laundry for the world to examine, because nothing is gained by doing it. It would only hurt the USA, and if Obama thinks he won't be blamed, he's wrong.

Entertaining to watch how the "crush" is wearing off, but irrelevant.

They gave their money and votes to Obama and he doesn't need them anymore.

Funny how Obama's new policy, much of it what Bush left, is not getting dragged over the coals on a daily basis by the MSM. Why is that? He did not pull out of Iraq the day after he was sworn in. He did not close Gitmo. He is still using rendition and other intelligence related policies that had them foaming in the mouth at the NYT, MSNBC, et al...YET, nothing from the peanut gallery.

And to that, he has stated over and over again he is against gay marriage. I guess that is ok too?

A woman who has contracted a continuing marriage does not have the right to go out of the house without her husband’s permission; she must remain at his disposal for the fulfilment of any one of his desires, and may not refuse herself to him except for a religiously valid reason. If she is totally submissive to him, the husband must provide her with her food, clothing, and lodging, whether or not he has the means to do so. A woman who refuses herself to her husband is guilty, and may not demand from him food, clothing, lodging, or any later sexual relations; however, she retains the right to be paid damages if she is repudiated.

Cheney is a decidedly mixed blessing. On the one hand, his ongoing criticism of the current Administration allows the Dems to continue running Against Bush. On the other, he's an excellent spokesperson when it comes to making claims of classified information showing real results against terrorism, having been in a position to know; demanding the release of this information along with the release of information which casts the former Administration in a bad light puts 0 in an awkward spot, and seems to have forced a capitulation on the release of cherry-picked information.

The Dems were running against Bush before Cheney came out. If anything his push back has given some balance to the lies they were telling. So, in my opinion the only negative Cheney brings is that the moonbats think he is mean and the MSM can get all orgasmic about his popularity ratings.

Bluntly, the Obama administration "started it" by opening the door to prosecution of Bush administration lawyers and others.

Cheney wouldn't have to hit back if the Obama administration wasn't being so petty.

Further, his response wouldn't have any resonance if the Obama administration weren't so hypocritical.

It doesn't really matter who started it; Cheney is correct to challenge what has been an obviously selective release of information, and is in an excellent position to call for the release of balancing reports.

This one:

"someone else is behind it" [his memoirs]

I have no doubt that someone else HELPED Obama write (or ghost wrote) his memoirs. But I sort of doubt that some shadowy figures are pulling his strings like the proverbial puppet.

I have a feeling that Obama won't release his transcripts because:
a. His choice of course material appears embarrassing 30 years later, and/or
b. His grades were mediocre.

Remember, this is a guy who by his own admission used to hang around the Marxist professors in college:

[Link: 209.157.64.200...]

"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, "Dreams From My Father." "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.".

So I strongly suspect (by his own admission) that his transcript is larded up with frou-frou leftist garbage courses appropriate to "Marxist professors and structural feminists".

I think it does matter, because until relatively recently, it was standard practice for prior administration officials NOT to openly criticize their predecessors (and generally vice versa).

Cheney likely wouldn't have responded here if not provoked first.

I agree that for partisan political purposes Cheney is not the "best" possible critic of the Obama administration, but in this particular case his response has added credibility since he was personally "there" and was aware firsthand of what went on. Not too many can say that, and Obama is already trying to intimidate the ones who can.

If/when a better critic comes along, I'm sure Cheney will happily return to trout fishing, hunting, or whatever else he's spending his time with nowadays.

I can't speak to the size of Obama's particular advances in comparison to others, but its at least plausible that publishers might think his books were marketable based on his personal profile and characteristics. (/I don't know if you've noticed this, but the man is somewhat of a bull@#$ artist).

You're the one making the claim that these quotes are valid. Did you bother to check them, or did you simply accept them because they fit what you wanted to hear?

It strikes me that such outrageous statements, if true, would be well known and frequently trumpeted even by moderate sources. Yet I've never run across them anywhere until now, and their source seems to be only Internet sites. Surely, if this is part of Islamic doctrine there ought to be references with citations all the way from newspapers and magazines to peer-reviewed journals on politics and religion. Even on Wikipedia. Yet all Wiki has to say about it directly contradicts the quotes you provided.

A primary source would be ideal, of course. But it shouldn't be hard to find one more authoritative than a second-hand book review.

So, when given half the chance, we should be surprised when the children who watch this crap commit genocide?

I think not.

With programming like this, we don't need to wonder what will come next. If Israel falls (and with this administration, it could) this is what we can expect.

And just as before, nobody will care, unless or until the Israelis launch their nukes at these perps. Then countries such as Russia and China will threaten Israel with their arsenal.

So how do we stop this? We expose them. We ask our government why we do not support the Israelis against such hatred. And when they fail to answer satisfactorily, we make a campaign out of it.

I've always wondered what the precursors to WW II looked like. I don't wonder any more.

A bit more seriously, the Khomeinist work in question is in Arabic on Islamic jurisprudence and is 1200 pages long.

Tracking down a poorly sourced quote is difficult. . .to say the least. Tracking down a complete English-language translation. . .not easy either.

I think this represents an English-translated version of the work in question, though a quick perusal of the table of contents shows its abridged (ie chapters are missing):

[Link: www.al-shia.org...]

Needless to say, any chapters on marriage are absent in this translation. The chapter dealing with the sale of animals does not mention sexual activity.

So you're accepting it simply because you agree with what the website you found this on has to say?

Where did I say I accepted it?
Erik the Red "got" it. . .I was just being tongue in cheek giving you the Arabic language link.

Looking into this a bit, I've come up with the following:

a. The Shia websites all insist the work in question contains no such quotes. That's not really proof one way or another, but at least indicates that there is some controversy.

b. This work is supposed to be a comprehensive overview of Islamic jurisprudence. So if Khomeini did have an opinion on the Islamic legality of sexual relations with young girls (for example) it should probably be in there.

c. The only English language translation I can find is the one I linked to above which seems to have no sections whatever on marriage. Given that the original is supposed to be 1200 pages long and this on-line translation appears to be far shorter, I have to believe its abridged.

Of course you can't prove that something does NOT exist, only that it does. But doing some digging, I haven't been able to find a properly sourced primary translation delineating the "controversial" passages. So, I have to put this in the category of "not true until proven otherwise".

Not that it really matters. I don't need quotes from Khomemi allegedly legitimizing bestiality to have problems with his legacy of "Death to America" Iran.

237 Charles Johnson  Wed, May 13, 2009 2:31:48pm

After following the links to this Khomeini story, I've decided to delete the posts with quotes, because the whole thing does seem to be fraudulent. I investigated further and not only are the sources for these quotes suspect (to say the least -- some of them seem completely whacked out), I can't find a single valid source that backs them up.

The Arab states not only condone child abuse in many forms. Witness, for example, the United Arab Emirate practice of kidnapping young children to use as camel jockeys.

See the report at [Link: www.frontpagemag.com...]

I quote:
“We’ve seen children tied onto the camel and have heard reports of Velcro being used on a child’s trousers to tack him onto the animal’s hump,” ...
Children that are trafficked are terrified and mistreated while being used as camel jockeys and they are deprived of food and water prior to a race to keep them as light as possible.

Camel racing in Gulf countries is a local pastime and has grown into a multi-million dollar business in the UAE. Although UAE is one of the most developed countries in the Gulf region, UNICEF reports that the country's child exploitation levels are believed to be the worst. Young kidnapped or trafficked boys make the best jockeys as their lightweight frames match the structure of a camel’s back.

Obama won't release his transcripts because it is obvious he isn't very bright and his transcripts will make that fact obvious to other people who aren't very bright, thus shattering the coalition of the under-educated and ill-educated that form the basis of his ruling coalition.

As to hoping that he has something to say against Islamic fascism... I wouldn't hold my breath. He has to rename terrorist attacks "manmade disasters" to even bring himself to think about the issue. He has absolutely no moral authority to speak about any such thing after attending a vilely antisemitic church for 20 years and after palling around with known and unrepentant terrorists.

Anyone who thinks it is cool to hang out with Marxist professors doesn't have enough moral authority to lecture anyone, about anything, ever. Such activity is cool only in exactly the same manner, and to the same degree, as attending neo-nazi skinhead meetings are cool.

After following the links to this Khomeini story, I've decided to delete the posts with quotes, because the whole thing does seem to be fraudulent. I investigated further and not only are the sources for these quotes suspect (to say the least -- some of them seem completely whacked out), I can't find a single valid source that backs them up.

Hey Charles, would you consider Mark Steyn a credible source?

I just found this. Its a a long read, but it appears to be documented, and (fortunately) hilarious. The "punch line" is that apparently Khomeini did say some of these cuckoo things, just not in the book that is usually ascribed to him.

[Link: www.steynonline.com...]

And the "money" bit with the book faceplate in the second link below:
[Link: www.steynonline.com...]
[Link: www.steynonline.com...]

Now, undoubtedly, someone is going to make the argument that its a bad translation, but I'll leave that fight up to the Arabic/Farsi scholars.

Steyn's citations are to the very same sources -- I don't think that's any more credible than anything else I've read on this.

Unless I've missed something here, Steyn is citing totally different sources than the ones referenced above in this thread.

Most of these quotes (at least on the internet) reference Khomeni's Tahrirolvasyleh which (as mentioned above) is an extended treatise on Islamic Law. That's where I looked before, with one English translation linked in post #235. And I couldn't find these quotes in the abridged translation I referenced. All of the Shia sites that purport to renounce the quotes, refer to THAT work specifically. The Wiki entry also references that work.

But, Steyn is referencing an entirely different work, Resaleh Towzih al-Masael a question compendium.

Steyn is also helpful enough to provide direct scans of a scholarly English translation of the book from 1984 with face pages, plus scans of the relevant passages from the original in Farsi.

The translation is apparently out print, but note that you might be able to pick up an English copy for yourself here:
[Link: www.alibris.com...]

The point is, "Six degrees" asked for a primary source. Steyn provides one (with extra documentation), in Farsi and with English translation, and with scans for anyone to see, linked above.

I was skeptical, but this looks pretty persuasive to me. Unless you think Steyn make up a false scan and posted it, this is "real". Again, *maybe* you could argue a bad translation from the original Farsi, but that seems pretty implausible, and I'll have to leave that up to the Persian speakers to determine.

Gee, it doesn't seem like the Jews are the ones hiding behind trees or civilians in the Holy Land, but the muslim terrorists seem to be the ones hiding behind the skirts of women and children and civilians there. Are we to make of that fact that the arabs are the 'jews' that the Quran were talking about and that they will be wiped out on Judgment day by the Jews/Israelis?
That may not go over well in Egypt, so this thug maybe should have another toot on his hooka.

244 Code Red 21  Wed, May 13, 2009 5:45:00pm

It's only child abuse if you spank your little rug rats behind for being naughty...just ask the U.N. Now teaching a child to hate the Jews, that's just child's play.

Good thing Egypt is at peace with Israel. There surely is a place in hell for....words fail me.....insects like this. Can't we all just get along? Not with this mentality. Mr Rogers on hate pills. I was waiting for Mr McHatred to knock and Mr Trolly to turn the corner and blow up as it went through a Jewish market. Howdy Neighbor!

The Ayatollah Khomeini was an evil scumbag, there's no doubt about that. But he's not the only evil scumbag, and there are some people who push false stories specifically to demonize entire groups of people.

re: #196 SixDegrees

Perhaps you misunderstood. I was referring to it as an "Islamic version" of that putrid pile in the sense that it is in all likelihood a forgery with Islam as it's target instead of Judaism.

So you are suggesting that Khomeini wrote Tahrirolvasyleh to hurt islam? That is sooo twisted.

You are absolutely right Charles. (This Khomeini story was started mainly by extremists Sunnis, btw). He was an evil man, no question about it, but there is so much true and credited stuff to face him with rather than to come up with such stories.
Your blog is the best and sanest.
Thank you

Those tricky Jews! Surrounding themselves with very type of trees and rocks that won't drop a dime on them. Brilliant!
