Thugs Riot in Britain

World • Views: 3,795

In the British town of Luton, masked thugs and skinheads marched to protest Islamic extremism yesterday — and ended up rioting, stoning police, smashing car windshields and shop windows, and attacking at least one Asian man. Edmund Standing has a report at Harry’s Place: How NOT to oppose Al Muhajiroun.

Pro-BNP blogger “Lionheart” (who wrote in January 2008 that I should be “shot” like a “Nazi collaborator” because I spoke up against European fascist groups) was involved with promoting this event.

I watched the videos of the protest that Lionheart posted this morning. Nothing too interesting. Towards the end of the 1st clip the crowd starts chanting "fuck 'em all"

Absolute scum.

I have family in Calderdale council where the BNP have three seats, and have seen some of the leaflets these people push through the doors, its vile.

Not only are the BNP absolutely useless councilors (see here and here) but above all else:
a neo-nazi in a suit is still a goddamn neo-nazi.

For a quick look at the BNP I would recommend this website.

There is nothing British about the BNP.

20 kynna  Mon, May 25, 2009 1:10:01pm

This is exactly what Glenn Reynolds has been saying will happen. It's so obvious. The government continues to reward bad behavior from some, and then others get the idea that that's what works.

Obviously this little pigs (love the ones with the masks looking exactly like the people they're supposedly protesting) are sick enough to get the message that the government is cowardly and will cave to barbarian pressure.

This kind of thing isn't going to stop any more than the Islamic extremism is going to stop. The gits are trying to grab their slice of the pie.

And reasonable people get to suffer from the efforts of all sides.

Wonderful- they attack the police. That's exactly the problem in europe- no respect for the rule of law and law enforcement. Kind of hard to get the law on your side and start enforcing civil conduct if you're attacking the very people whose job it is to defend the civil rights of the populace.

They don't want law and order- they want anarchy.

Almost forgot, this is quite amusing, in its own sort of way.

Turns out that BNP voters don't exist and their leaflet is a lie

And so, it transpires, are the images of the other ‘BNP voters’ on the flyer, none of whom, it seems, are real BNP voters. And, (could this be even more embarrassing?), most of whom appear not to be “typical Britons”. Or any kind of Briton at all.

The doctor, “voting BNP because I see what immigration has done to the NHS”, was photographed in America, where, of course, they don't even have an NHS equivalent yet.

The loving “mother and wife” who wants “our taxes invested in education and job creation” was photographed in the States too, and comes with the title ‘Love my Mommy’.

And, if it could possibly get any more embarrassing, a Scots Guardsman - possibly the only Brit to figure in the leaflet - has come out to publicly condemn them as "scumbags" saying "I'd never vote for them in a million years."

Adrian Marsden (Calderdale). The absent councillor. In the six months to March 2006, Marsden has attended just three council meetings and his work record for his ward constituents has been even worse. However, he managed to find the time and strength to act as a bodyguard to BNP leader Nick Griffin during the recent court case in Leeds. But then again, what can you expect from a man with several convictions and a long history with the violent neo-nazi group Combat 18.

Sorry to be so pessimistic ... probably never. Our police are overwhelmed and our politicians have no spine.

We lurch from crisis to crisis or throw money at programs that do not work and just line the politicos friends pockets.

Our system has too many corrupt persons from local to federal levels to clean out all at once.

OTOH - when we each say "If it's going to be it's up to me" and start taking ANY action - then maybe someday.

I get the impression that this is exactly why the so-called "Counter Jihad" really wants the neo-Nazis around. They want to be able to call on a group of hard-core street fighters when they need them, and then think that they can put them back in their cage when they are done with their approved duties. In truth, this strategy never works as planned. Sooner or later, you will find your erstwhile allies a burden (at best), or a direct threat to you (at worst).

It looks like they are going to have to learn this lesson the hard way.

They absolutely think they can control their Brute Squad.

re: #19 HAL2010

April is here and the BNP is well on form. London BNP's second in line for the Assembly, Nick Eriksen, is discovered to have some peculiar views on women, including the bizarre idea that women are more troubled by bag theft than rape. Thankfully he's booted out the day after his views become public - though he remains in the party and in his role as organiser.

A senior BNP leader with a strong chance of winning a seat in the London Assembly next month has written that rape is a "myth" and that "some women are like gongs - they need to be struck regularly."

The Evening Standard has revealed that Nick Eriksen, the BNP's London organiser and the second-highest candidate on its list for the Assembly, is the author of "Sir John Bull," a notorious far-Right blog which has regularly advocated hatred and abuse against women. The disclosure will be a serious blow to the BNP's hopes of London electoral success.

In August 2005, Mr Eriksen wrote: "I've never understood why so many men have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the feminazi myth machine into believing that rape is such a serious crime ... Rape is simply sex. Women enjoy sex, so rape cannot be such a terrible physical ordeal.

"To suggest that rape, when conducted without violence, is a serious crime is like suggesting that force-feeding a woman chocolate cake is a heinous offence. A woman would be more inconvenienced by having her handbag snatched. The demonisation of rape is all part of the feminazi desire to obtain power and mastery over men. Men who go along with the rape myth are either morons or traitors."

In November 2005, in an item entitled "Give her a slap!," Mr Eriksen approvingly quoted Noel Coward as saying: "Some women are like gongs - they need to be struck regularly." He later claimed that "the vast majority of domestic [assaults] are initiated by the woman."

Mr Eriksen also wrote that mothers "should never go out to work" and described career women as "unnatural and vile... it is a strange kind of woman who would want to invest [her] energies into her job rather than into a man."

SNIP

Sounds similar to the RoP.

Isn't there an aspect of "fools (or thugs) rush in where wise men fear to tread" here. As we all know, the UK has allowed to reside in their country so many radical islamists who are open about their intent to bring sharia law to the UK and support the various overseas jihads (all of that documented over the years right here in LGF). The politicans, the clergy, the educational establishment (with some exceptions) are so politically correct about not criticizing and deporting the islamofascists, at some point you're going to get outbreaks of violence from these other fascist elements.

re: #190 sandbox

Isn't there an aspect of "fools (or thugs) rush in where wise men fear to tread" here. As we all know, the UK has allowed to reside in their country so many radical islamists who are open about their intent to bring sharia law to the UK and support the various overseas jihads (all of that documented over the years right here in LGF). The politicans, the clergy, the educational establishment (with some exceptions) are so politically correct about not criticizing and deporting the islamofascists, at some point you're going to get outbreaks of violence from these other fascist elements.

The concept of "political correctness" is to destroy civil and honest discourse among groups of people. When that's gone, all that remains is mistrust and prejudice. (Sure glad that it's not happening in the US.//)

From what I've read, Brits have been going on "party" tours, with foreign countries catering to them with "stag and hen" nights (heh) for those about to be leg-shackled - I mean married, etc. I think maybe the normally reserved Brits want to go somewhere else to let it all hang out for a while.

In the visited countries, the drunk Brits are a pain, but they spend money, which is good. Apparently, this type of tourism has fallen off a lot of late.

First, of course, as their team go down 1 nil, is shock and disbelief. The come the tears, yes, folks, real tears from these hard-assed bastards that their soccer (sorry, football) team have crashed. Then of course, its off to the boozer to get a skinfull. Then comes the anger, ah yes, the anger and "who can we blame for this travesty, its the [bigoted word]s fault, lets kick the shit out the towellys"

The last stage, acceptance, will not occur because they are just a bunch of drunken stupid ignorant idiots anyway and "it" will always be someone elses fault.

But that wasn't really what the vote was about. It was about granting funds to close Gitmo, and I think most of the 90 simply meant that they weren't going to blindly grant Obama the funds he wanted, until he explained what he planned to do with the detainees.

Different, but still encouraging. I wish congress had been similarly responsible about authorizing stimulus funds without knowing what was going to be done with them.

Don't get too excited. What they (the dems) voted against was NOT the plan to move the detainees to the mainland, it's that there was no specificity in the money request
(when will they be moved ,, where too ,,,, for how long ,, what to do with them when they're here ,,, civilian trials ,, military tribunals ,,) THATS what they voted 'against"

So why not, it will then be asked? Because we do not want radical islamists (as opposed to moderate muslims) in our country as a matter of public policy. As far as the British are concerned, based on their census data, "Chinese" is a separate category and is not labeled as "Asian." There is also a "Chinese and other ethnic - other" category, which I think may be where they plop other oriental people.

They seem to perceive "Asian" as mostly central Asian, which is where the vast majority of their immigrants from Asia come from.

The central Asians are broken down by country - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Asian - other.

In 2004, he wrote the book, Constitutional Chaos: What Happens When the Government Breaks its Own Laws, a criticism of the American justice system. In the National Review, former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy noted that Napolitano had been a mid-level state judge and questioned his knowledge of the federal Constitution, citing numerous errors in Napolitano's writing on the subject.[1]

Both Dr. Murray Sabrin and Lew Rockwell mentioned Napolitano as a possible vice presidential running mate for Republican Ron Paul during the 2008 presidential election.[3]

The United States is out of money, when did this happen?

C-SPAN INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT

SCULLY: Yet, it all takes money. You know the numbers, $1.7 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money?

OBAMA: Well, we are out of money now. We are operating in deep deficits, not caused by any decisions we've made on health care so far. This is a consequence of the crisis that we've seen and in fact our failure to make some good decisions on health care over the last several decades.

Pay careful attention to the expression of his face when he says that. It seems to be like some kind of a funny joke to him. And what's Obama's solution to the problem, even as he acknowledges America is already flat broke and seriously in debt? Hey, I, know, the obvious answer is to quadruple the deficit! That makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

/I mean the trick to getting out of debt is to borrow lots more money and spend it, right?

You are aware that he was arguing that it was due to socialization (I think the socialists of Britain would probably die from laughter.)? The proportions differ marginally but compare them to the height of Tory power in the mid eighties and you may well note that the actuals were a LOT higher. (Unfortunately that report don't show historical demographic breakdowns but suffice to say that the over 3 million unemployed in the years 1983-1988 would probably not quite agree with that description of british history. In times of high unemployment numbers will be highest among the uneducated young. There should be nothing surprising or even remotely politically charged about that statement.

From your linked .pdf:

"However, it
is worth remembering the unemployment
rate is expressed as a proportion of the
economically active population and does
not include those who are economically
inactive. Th erefore, the unemployment
rate should not be used to measure the
proportion of a group who are not working
as it excludes those who are economically

Could it be that some of the Youts are "economically

It's highly likely that unless the authorities clamp down firmly on fascist
inspired thuggery there will be more(probably this coming Sunday).
However, if Islamofascists ,which to date have escaped censure, are not treated in the same way;then I predict a summer of discontent.
Cheeky Islamofascists have had it, too easy, for too long.
The hooligan element that used to pollute football matches, have a new target; and the BNP will be there to egg them on.
The PC brigade who pretty well encouraged the settling of Muslim ghettos
in publicly funded sink estates are guilty of fostering the predictions of Enoch Powell made forty years ago.
The sad thing is that people from the sub continent who just want to get on with their lives will become caught in the cross fire.
The BNP and the equally odious Islamofascists ,must be dealt with strongly.
The possible riot on Sunday will be between muslim extremists protesting against the Pakistan army taking out the Taliban and the same BNP inspired thugs we've heard about today.
I hope it won't happen;but I feel a tipping point has been reached .
Yet another problem for an inept government!

Which would be asking someone to prove a negative. But by all means. I actually already did. Take a look at the claimant count. Countries moving towards socialism tend to have rising claimant count figures rather than falling claimant count figures. In fact, the deviation between the actuals and the claimant count give you a pretty clear indication of where things are moving.

But by all means:

- The privatisation drive that was started during the Tories have continued. (Latest in the series is Royal Mail)
- Deregulation of the markets (hardly a socialist idea if you ask me)

Luton is the worst place in England. If they gave England an enema, they'd stick the tube in Luton.

Luton is also "the front line". Hardened working class whites, living face to face with one of the largest and most radicalised Muslim populations in England.

Sides are drawn.

The working class whites feel that nobody in government or society represents them. They see the political correctness, but they also see the Al Muhajiroun terrorist wannabes out on the streets holding signs promising the violent, forced Islamification of England.

Given this situation, it is hardly surprising that the whites will attach themselves to the BNP. The BNP is the only party that addresses their concerns and is not afraid to speak out against the Luton Jihad.

I don't blame the white population to following them and I don't blame the BNP for using populist politics to attract them.

Of course this doesn't make the BNP or their supporters morally correct in all aspects, but it helps us understand the situation.

I don't blame the whites or the BNP, but I do blame the BNP's rise on the failure of conventional politics for failing to stand up to radical Islam. If these young, working class, white men saw the government severely clamping down on immigration and radical Islam (as they fucking well should) then the BNP would have no traction. They'd have no unique selling point.

The onus for tackling radical Islam should have been taken up by the Conservative Party, but they are playing their cards too close to their chests. If they were to speak their minds, they'd be accused of "racism", just as LGF is accused of racism.

The rise of the BNP is therefore also a failure of the left who, instead of siding against Islamofascism, have chosen to ally themselves with it in groups like the Muslim Brotherhood / Stalinist "Stop the War Coalition" or in Galloway's Respect Party.

The failure of government & the left makes the white population in shitholes like Luton feel disenfranchised and angry. As, I say, I find it hard to blame them.

324 Øyvind Strømmen  Tue, May 26, 2009 1:54:14am

re: #322 uptight

Oddly, your argument is extremely similar to the argument made by people who excuse Islamic radicals. "It's not their fault they support nasty politics". "They were pushed to it". "Given the situation, it's hardly surprising that Muslims will attach themselves to radical groups. These groups are the only ones addressing their concerns and are not afraid to speak out against Luton racism", "These Muslim youths feel that nobody in government represents them. They see the political correctness, but they also the BNP thugs and fascist wannabes out on the streets calling for a pure Britain", etc. etc. ad nauseam.

But supporting fascists, regardless of their shape, form and color, is wrong. Now, I agree that the Left has been doing many stupid things - it is a partial explanation, something the left should ponder - but it is not, and will never be, an excuse. The BNP is a fascist party. If you vote for a fascist party, you vote fascist.

Well, it does not look to good for the BNP on polls these days. I'd be surprised if they do a particularily good Euro-elections. The UKIP will be doing much better. So will the Greens.

326 uptight  Tue, May 26, 2009 3:54:15am

So what is the answer?

Much as it pains me to say this (because I am NOT a racist), the BNP are actually correct on a number of issues. We all know this, but few will actually admit it.

Not just on Jihadism, but also on immigration and asylum.

I hate the BNP and I regard it as a tragedy that they hold the sole franchise for these issues. They are extremist and untrustable. I don't like the fact that racial ghettos exist. I don't like creeps like Anjem Choudary being given the freedom to commit sedition in the name of free speech. I don't like the fact that NHS literature is printed in 56 different languages and that Somalis are given free housing & healthcare while tax payers are kept on waiting lists.

But I don't want a fascist state to stop these iniquities. I don't want deportations or thugs roaming the East End creating British crystalnachts. The BNP scare me.

It should be the mainstream parties stepping up to the plate. If they represented common sense, fair policies that a) aren't driven by racism and b) aren't castrated by PC, then the BNP would shrink to the fringes they were in the past. We wouldn't waste any attention on them.

327 Øyvind Strømmen  Tue, May 26, 2009 5:08:52am

re: #326 uptight

So what is the answer?

Although I do not agree with you on the political issues, I believe that the answer you are looking for is either:

a) get involved with some democratic political party (that is: not the BNP) and work to change its policies in the direction you want, work to have this policy implemented

or

b) go together with others sharing your political views and found a new party

Now, the British - like the American - elective system is not particularily friendly to new parties (the European elections are however proportional), so perhaps a is a better alternative than b. It's definitely a much, much better alternative than just complaining and then give excuses to a fascist party out of convenience.

Look at the Flemish party Lijst Dedecker. This party works for a stricter immigration policy, and often criticises radical islam. Yet, it is a democratic party, in spite of a number of attempts at entryism (I have doubts about their internal democracy, since the party is named after the guy leading it, but that's another story). It will probably gain a considerable amount of votes in the upcoming Belgian and European elections, and many of these votes will be taken from the Eurofascist Vlaams Belang.

Another example is the Norwegian Fremskrittspartiet (Frp). I would not vote for them in a million years, and disagree with most of their views both on immigration and other issues. Yet, they are a democratic party, they are not fascists (although some on the left would like to portray them as such), and they want to strongly limit immigration. And they're set to get maybe 20% of the Norwegian vote in September. In Norway, the true Eurofascist parties are basically chanceless because Frp are taking their votes.

330 AlexB  Tue, May 26, 2009 7:41:01am

I don't like the rise of the neo fascists any more than you do - but I think their rise is only a natural response - particularly in Britain, where by the words of my Muslim colleague who has family there - "it's REALLY bad", compared to other countries with Muslim minorities.

While Muslims in Britain and elsewhere are rioting and demanding more and more "special accommodations", the politicians and leaders of almost every institution are either embracing these changes with open arms, or are silently accepting them with out a word of protest... and in the mean time, those people who are not politicians or scholars, and are seeing drastic changes and violence, just want it to stop.

The reason that there is a rise in extreme-right is because the average Joes in England have been pushed there.

As a Jew I fear that the PC regime that disallowes those against Islamism to protest civilly (by, e.g., hyperbolically calling them "racists" and other names) will further increase the size and influence of extreme right wing groups... and those groups, once they will become big enough and [maybe] will stem the tide of Islamicization, will turn on Britain's Jews.

The worst that can be done is to marginalize those people who are turning increasingly right-wing by calling them neo-Nazis. They are not intellectuals, but just regular folk, and will not take kindly to that. You're guaranteed to see increased extreme-right-wing violence if these groups are not talked to civilly, and if the political CENTER does not begin to take a stronger stand against this increasing Islamicization in Europe.

Jeez. The UK is really up against it. Islamo Fascist scum and their Useful Idiot Leftist Multiculturalists on the left, Fascist Racist White Supremacists assholes on the right. Where can a reasonable British citizen who wants to protect his/her nation turn to? No wonder so many choose to emigrate.

Funny how no matter how much the BNP and their ilk polish their image, their real selves always eventually show up. The UK is becoming more polarized every day, I fear what may happen there if things don't change.

I used to fear that what was (and is) happening there could happen here - but with Charles now leading the voices of common sense against fascist sympathizers in the USA, I see some hope. There's still a thriving industry that's selling fear through the blogosphere, but now some of the top proponents of fear are being laughed at instead of taken as Gospel.
