Anti-Abortion Bloggers Getting Crazier
A so-called “Christian” blogger compares suspected murderer Scott Roeder to Dietrich Bonhoeffer — the man who attempted to assassinate Adolf Hitler — and suggests that murder might be an appropriate way to deal with doctors who perform abortions: The ethics of murder.
Are these times, and the circumstances we find ourselves in, really so different from Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s day?
While non-violent, political opposition to evil is always the default position for Christians, the lesson of Bonhoeffer seems to be that there are times when the heart and soul of a government becomes hardened against the prophetic outcry of God’s people. At such a time, far more may be required of us. Is this such a time? How far should we be willing to go to stop the killing of the innocents?
And another anti-abortion fanatic is now posting pictures of Dr. LeRoy Carhart and his clinic, and of Dr. Warren Hern: Jill Stanek - Late-term abortionist Carhart wants to take over Tiller’s practice.
The bad craziness is spreading. The murder of Dr. George Tiller has stirred up the radical wing of the anti-abortion movement, and they’re beginning to openly justify vigilante violence — and give their followers targets on whom to practice it.
