Rev. Wright: ‘Them Jews Aren’t Going to Let Him Talk to Me’

US News • Views: 6,029

More ugly antisemitic ranting today from Barack Obama’s former preacher: Rev. Wright says he doesn’t regret severed relationship with president.

“Regret for what… that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I’ve been preaching for 20 years? Regret for preaching like I’ve been preaching for 50 years? Absolutely none,” Wright said.

Wright said that when he went to the polls, he did not hold any grudge against Obama.

“Of course I voted for him; he’s my son. I’m proud of him,” Wright said. “I’ve got five biological kids. They all make mistakes and bad choices. I haven’t stopped loving any of them. He made mistakes. He made bad choices. I’ve got kids who listen to their friends. He listened to those around him. I did not disown him.”

Asked if he had spoken to the President, Wright said: “Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office. …

”They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. … I said from the beginning: He’s a politician; I’m a pastor. He’s got to do what politicians do.“

Wright also said Obama should have sent a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism held recently in Geneva, Switzerland, but that the president did not do so for fear of offending Jews and Israel.

”Ethic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don’t want Barack talking like that because that’s anti-Israel,” Wright said.

I can’t believe that he didn’t express similar hatred in the past and it’s still remarkable to me that Barack Obama didn’t see fit to distance himself from Rev. Wright until it became politically expedient to do so.

So ethics might break out in Chicago. Stranger things have happened there …

The Marxist Roots of Black Liberation Theology

The notion of “blackness” is not merely a reference to skin color, but rather is a symbol of oppression that can be applied to all persons of color who have a history of oppression (except whites, of course). So in this sense, as Wright notes, “Jesus was a poor black man” because he lived in oppression at the hands of “rich white people.” The overall emphasis of Black Liberation Theology is the black struggle for liberation from various forms of “white racism” and oppression.

James Cone, the chief architect of Black Liberation Theology in his book A Black Theology of Liberation (1970), develops black theology as a system. In this new formulation, Christian theology is a theology of liberation — “a rational study of the being of God in the world in light of the existential situation of an oppressed community, relating the forces of liberation to the essence of the gospel, which is Jesus Christ,” writes Cone. Black consciousness and the black experience of oppression orient black liberation theology — i.e., one of victimization from white oppression.

He supported the ideals of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and advocated the corresponding Islamic movement in Lebanon. In his sermons, he called for armed resistance to the Israeli occupations of Lebanon, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, along with opposition to the existence of Israel. WHEN Europeans wish upon a star, they get an American president with a huge Third World chip on his shoulder.

Those “sophisticated” Europeans dismissed “cowboy” Bush as a rube beneath their contempt. If the continent’s opinion-makers could’ve changed their voter registrations, they would’ve flown to Chicago to vote for Barack Obama last fall.

They got what they wanted. But it isn’t what they expected.

President Obama may be the least Europe-friendly occupant of the White House since James Monroe (the guy who put up a “Keep Out!” sign on our hemisphere). Bam clearly doesn’t like Europeans.

A big chill has hit the trans-Atlantic atmosphere. Beyond the perfunctory grip-and-grins at Saturday’s D-Day commemoration, there was no bonhomie between European leaders and our celebrity prez.

Nor can the somber setting — or even the raw sea breeze — be blamed for the dour mood in Normandy. The president and first lady maintained their own self-absorbed bubble, enchanted with being the Obamas. President George W. Bush may have been inarticulate, but the Obamas were ungracious.

The new ice age was also evident during Bam’s stop in Germany. Walking or standing side by side, he and German Chancellor Angela Merkel looked like a couple going through a brutal divorce who got caught in the same elevator on the way to meet their lawyers.

In France, Obama brushed off Nicolas Sarkozy, the most pro-American president to occupy the Elysée Palace in my lifetime. Sarkozy had to beg for a meeting.

And Britain’s Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been treated as though the British just burned the White House — or a Kenyan village — last week.

One of the left’s high-pitched battle cries during last year’s election was: “Restore our good relations with Europe!” Welcome to reality.

The Obamas remain celebrities among some European populations. But “Old Europe’s” elected leaders are the canaries in the coal mine. And their beaks look ashen.

Even in his blame-us Cairo speech, Obama’s mention of women’s rights was aimed not at Middle Eastern savagery, but at France — where headscarves can’t be worn in public schools.

That’s rich. Our president praised the “wisdom” of King Abdullah, ignoring Saudi Arabia’s hideous treatment of women, but whacked Europeans for insisting that heads — and identities — should go uncovered in free societies.

If scarves, hijabs and chadors are so great, why didn’t our first lady go to Saudi Arabia and give us a fashion show?

Our president also noted that European imperialism did great harm to the Middle East. He neglected to mention that Muslim imperialism butchered Balkan Christians up to the eve of World War I. …

Much of our president’s youth was spent in the Third World; his closest relatives viewed events through a wacky leftist lens — and he sat for decades in a church whose pastor ranted against Jews, “racist” America and our foreign policy. It would be astonishing if Obama hadn’t internalized such views by sheer osmosis.

The evidence of our president’s preferences is on the video record: Compare his upbeat body language and smiles as he embraces Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez or the Saudi king with the scowls he offers European leaders.

Our president not only identifies with the Third World, but with a romanticized Third World whose failings are all the West’s fault. It’s the typical view of an undergraduate leftist — in 1979.

Some Israelis Insulted By Obama Picture

World Watch from CBS News

Israeli TV newscasters Tuesday night interpreted a photo taken Monday in the Oval Office of President Obama talking on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as an “insult” to Israel.

They saw the incident as somewhat akin to an incident last year, when the Iraqi reporter threw a shoe at President Bush in Baghdad.

It is considered an insult in the Arab world to show the sole of your shoe to someone. It is not a Jewish custom necessarily, but Israel feels enough a part of the Middle East after 60 years to be insulted too.

Was there a subliminal message intended from the White House to Netanyahu in Jerusalem, who is publicly resisting attempts by Mr. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to force Israel to stop any kind of settlement activity in occupied territories once and forever?

What makes you think he is not still pals with Wright, after all he could no more disown Jeremiah Wright than he could his own white grandmother.

Nothing about Obama would shock me. He knew nothing about Islam to speak of, but now he quotes the Koran.
He sat in Wrights Church for twenty years & never , ever heard anything provocative.
He needed to make a speech on race & he throws grandma, the person who most cared about him under the bus.
It goes on & on, but he owns the MSM.

You can beat your wife but you have to pray afterward.

In the early 80’s the NY Times Magazine had an article about Saudi (religious) advice columnists. One example was the question of a Saudi man. His unmarried sister had gotten pregnant, so he poisoned her. His question was whether that was the proper action. The answer, IIRC, was something to the effect of, that poisoning was a bit extreme. I don’t recall if the Saudi Anne Landers actually said that it was wrong.

Eco-Nazis impose San Francisco’s version of the Nuremberg Laws:

Throwing away orange peels and coffee grinds now illegal in San Francisco

Throwing orange peels, coffee grounds and grease-stained pizza boxes in the trash will be against the law in San Francisco, and could even lead to a fine.

The Board of Supervisors voted 9-2 Tuesday to approve Mayor Gavin Newsom’s proposal for the most comprehensive mandatory composting and recycling law in the country. It’s an aggressive push to cut greenhouse gas emissions and have the city sending nothing to landfills or incinerators by 2020.

“San Francisco has the best recycling and composting programs in the nation,” Newsom said, praising the board’s vote on a plan that some residents had decried as heavy-handed and impractical. “We can build on our success.”

The ordinance is expected to take effect this fall.

The legislation calls for every residence and business in the city to have three separate color-coded bins for waste: blue for recycling, green for compost and black for trash.

Failing to properly sort your refuse could result in a fine…

Engineer decodes Air France Flight 447 emergency messages

The error messages sent by the plane show that multiple computer failures happened simultaneously, starting at 02:10 GMT, when a series of 14 warnings and failures emerged at once.

[snip]

The cryptic lines contain chilling meaning.

First, the auto pilot system disengaged. Then came a basic auto flight message warning. Next, something within the flight control computer failed. Then, warning flags appeared on the primary flight displays of the captain and co-pilot. Then the rudder exceeds the limits of normal flight. And on it goes.

“With all of these failures, they don’t have the information that they need to fly the aircraft in a safe environment,” Darryl says. “If the pilot or first officer don’t have any display functioning, then they’re flying blind in the night. … You’re trying to fly the aircraft with no technology.”

The last message received is a cryptic “213100206ADVISORY” warning at 02:14 GMT. It indicates loss of cabin pressure.

4 minutes from the start to loss of cabin pressure.

Lots of ways to write the scenario. But a small bomb could start such a error cascade, so could lightning strike, or sufficient turbulence to get the plane so far out of flight parameters the computers choked.

Democrats Furious Over GOP Coup, Vow To Take Back Locked Senate Chamber; Republicans Push For Work To Resume

ALBANY (CBS) ― Aftershocks of the New York State Senate shake up were rippling through the state capital Tuesday. With all the chaos, confusion and hard feelings, many in Albany are wondering who’s in charge and what happens next?

Less than a month ago, Democrats and Republicans posed like one big happy family for their class picture, but a dramatic coup to depose Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith has left everybody in Albany wondering what’s happening next, and has left an awful lot of hard feelings.

“I think it’s absolutely distasteful, it was a side show,” Smith spokesman Austin Shaffran said. “It was politics at the worst and its something Senate Republicans should be ashamed of.”

I think that a terrorist bomb never proven as such defeats the whole purpose of the attack.

Its analogous to the “Dr. Strangelove” prinicple, that there is no point in having an atomic bomb unless everyone knows it, since most of the value of the bomb is in its deterrent effect.

In the case of terrorism, if the attack gets written off as an unfortunate accident, its wasted.

re: #137 jcm

4 minutes from the start to loss of cabin pressure.

Lots of ways to write the scenario. But a small bomb could start such a error cascade, so could lightning strike, or sufficient turbulence to get the plane so far out of flight parameters the computers choked.

Here are some comments from AvWeek
First, on the speed sensors

Industry officials and pilots note that the aircraft should still be flyable even if the speed sensors malfunctioned, suggesting if the anomaly turns out to be related to the crash, it would likely be only one in a series of events that brought down AF 447.

Second, on turbulence and lightening

As for the possibility of a midair breakup due to exceeding limit loads in turbulence, Cox believes it would be an extremely rare occurrence. The A330 is a “tough airplane” that has been flying in turbulence for decades without mishap, and this event was the first fatal accident involving a passenger flight.

Early speculation about Flight 447 centered on a scenario in which lightning knocked out the aircraft’s electrical system. Cox - who says airplanes on average are struck once every two years without serious system problems - notes that Airbus heavily shields fly-by-wire flight control computers to ensure that a strike does not present a problem. The A330’s main fuselage is made of aluminum alloy; it has about 10% composite structure, mainly in the horizontal tail plane.

A complete failure would require 100% failure of the electrical system, including generators, ram air and battery. And that (a total failure) did not happen early in the flight, notes Cox, because the system was uplinking data to the maintenance facility, indicating there was some electricity on the airplane. On the other hand, “if you’ve lost 100% electricity - all five computers - you’ve lost the airplane.”

Of all possibilities, little attention has been focused so far on Flight 447’s reported pressurization problem, which may have been a major factor in the crash.

So what caused the sudden breakup and depressurization if it is unlikely that turbulence, lightening, or the pitot tubes were the problem?
No one is taking credit for terrorism, but maybe this was the trial run of a new system, and there will be coordinated attempts later? Such things have been planned, but the terrorists were always caught first.

Fremont [CA] Teen Runs for City Council
By LORI PREUITT
Updated 6:47 AM PDT, Wed, Jun 10, 2009

While most 16-year-olds are focused on their next video game fix or how to wrangle the keys from their parents for a weekend outing, one Fremont student has his eyes on a different kind of prize.

Ishan Shah has announced his candidacy for Fremont City Council. The election is in 2010.

Now, there is no way to know how this story will end yet, but it sure started like a Disney movie. Picture a group of students meeting at a coffee house on a Friday night debating whether a student candidate for city council was practical idea. Other patrons are drawn in to the discussion which ends with a fiery speech and a standing ovation from strangers and friends alike as the candidate signs the official 501 form declaring his intent to run.

Shah is 16 today, but will be the required 18 by election day.

The Mission High School junior certainly looks like he’s taking the effort seriously. He has a Web site, an exploratory committee and two published position papers.

Question:

IMHO, Occam’s Razor seems to lean toward a bomb. Don’t know about the effects of a lightning strike, but turbulence sufficient to cause such a cataclysm is a more-complex scenario.

What do you think?

It’s hard to write a lightning scenario, the airframe is in effect a Faraday cage, it’s plausible for lightning to hit the nose, which is RF transparent for the radar and find a path into the electronics bay and wreck havoc. As the flight control computers die, in the turbulence the pilots input a full rudder deflection and the vert stab separates, once that happens the plane is subject to enough forces to start the break up.

Turbulence so upset the plane the computers can’t deal with it, and disconnect the autopilot. Again a situation where the rudder could be deflected enough to separate the vert stab.

Bomb would be easiest, I agree. Either in the back where controls to vert and horzi stabs are damaged, or in the front where the electronics bay is damaged. Could lead to the same path, vert stab separation and disintegrations.

re: #216 jcm

Hmmmmm. Guess we don’t know enough.

It’s a self-imposed disaster, and it could have been avoided had the Democrats gone and investigated Monserrate and Espada for their criminal and ethical malfeasance instead of ignoring it so they could remain in power. Now that they’re not, those two have a bullseye on ‘em (rightfully so, I might add).

The GOP benefits from all this, and the stupidity of Democrats in Albany doesn’t hurt.

Still, none of them - Democrat or Republican - is showing any leadership and demanding that the budget be revisited to balance it because the one they just passed is already billions in the hole because all the revenue projections are off and spending is far higher than anyone should have responsibly voted for in the first place.

The clown circus continues.

Meanwhile, fiscal irresponsibility remains in vogue around the nation and in DC, where the new health care plans being proposed can only include massive tax hikes across the board, despite Obama’s goal not to seek tax hikes on 95% of Americans because there’s no other way to afford this mess without imposing steep taxes.

Unless they’re testing a new system and have a large-scale attack planned if it works. If so, they have something that got through security; if they took credit, it might not get through security when their major attack is ready.

And simultaneous attacks against aircraft have been planned before, but the terrorists got caught first.

In this case, the flaw in that theory is that the plane crashed.

Ipso facto, this wasn’t solely a “test”. If it were a test to plan a larger scale attack later, the last thing a terrorist want to do is tip their hand by actually crashing the plane, thereby likely revealing the methodology and compromising future attacks.

This particular also couldn’t have been part of a large coordinated attack (unless every other part failed).

And to boot, I have an excuse for hanging around LGF for a day or so, as the wife-woman is reluctant to have folks rummaging about her house without someone to watch them.

American voters are bombarded by their media with the message that conservatism is dead, because a Democrat got 52 percent of the presidential vote. Meanwhile, the collapse of the Left proceeds apace elsewhere in the world.

Fair enough.

And I believe I heard a year or so ago about a hero pet pig that saved its master by either dragging the master to safety or summoning help, or both—either of which puts Rev. Wright in the shade.

They’re very bright animals. A friend of mine breeds the little Vietnamese variety to sell as pets, and it’s amazing what they can learn to do.

Seattle Jewish Federation. Not that this makes this any easier to handle.

DistantThunder I wanted to catch you on line—when we were talking some days ago about the Tiller murder, you wrote about a young woman who wanted an abortion because she wasn’t going to fit into her wedding dress, and I responded by saying I was glad the story had a happy ending. That was because I misread, and thought she didn’t have the abortion. Then I reread it, but I think you were gone by then—just wanted to let you know I’m not insane…

No problem. The office staff and the doctor, we were all devastated, but she returned happy as can be. So happy for her, yes.

re: #302 looking closely

In this case, the flaw in that theory is that the plane crashed.

Ipso facto, this wasn’t solely a “test”. If it were a test to plan a larger scale attack later, the last thing a terrorist want to do is tip their hand by actually crashing the plane, thereby likely revealing the methodology and compromising future attacks.

This particular also couldn’t have been part of a large coordinated attack (unless every other part failed).

I was thinking they wanted the plane to disappear, but over the ocean where there would be no evidence. Maybe they deliberately set it off while in turbulence.

And the sudden jihadi with his car in NC. I could go on. These are just the examples that are foremost in my mind. Jihadis are much more active terrorists than, say, the terrorists that kill abortion doctors.

So of course we see who gets all of the press.

Why would they assume it would disappear?

The assumption by any terrorists with a clue (and that should include any capable of smuggling an explosive device on board a plane) would be/should be that it would be recovered, and that terrorism would be at the very least suspected, if not outright proven.

Again, it would not make sense for terrorists to destroy a commercial passenger plane under circumstances where said crash would appear to be an accident.

That sort of thing would entail 100% of the risk of engaging in terrorist activity, but none of the “reward” (of publicity, economic damage, and inciting “terror”).

Well, apparently DC effectively has reinstated them anyway. From what I understand, DC residents still don’t have an unqualified ability to possess loaded firearms within their homes.

Obviously no amount of DC gun ordinances can prevent a dedicated criminal from hauling a rifle around with them.

In terms of pure political opportunism, this is probably a better springboard for increased weapon-specific control against whatever category of gun was used in this incident.

Afterall, the Guvmint managed FMSM worked diligently to keep his fuming anti-semitic sermons very low and off the radar leading up to November ‘08. Were it not for the net his name would be unknown to anyone in AmeriKKKa even to this day. BTW, what church is ObamUH attending these days?

It won’t work. People who don’t want to see won’t see. people who don’t want to hear, won’t hear. I’ve been down this road with girlfriends and bad men. It’s a chemical infatuation thing. It’s love-sickness.

That’s been a project of mine too. Prior owners didn’t do much and had a couple of overgrown and sick rhododendrons in the backyard. Ripped those out, and an evergreen, and put in a mix of azaleas, new rhodos, and other shade tolerant perennials. Vast improvement, but not nearly done as I have a side yard that needs attention.

There’s a story called “On Venus, Have We Got A Rabbi” in which the backstory is that aliens have landed on Earth, converted to Islam, decided that all human Muslims are heretics, and have kicked everyone, Jew, Muslim and Christian, out of Israel, which is why our hero, Milchik the TV repairman, is living in a burrow on Venus.

Sounds familiar. I think I read it.
Then there’s the one where they’re trying to put together a minyan at a hotel that caters to aliens as well as humans, and they have to find 10 Jews that can breathe the same atmosphere. The story remarked that you don’t want to know what some of the aliens had circumcised.

I get it, (and its why I used the “scare quotes” around the term “assault rifle”).

If I shoot someone with my single-shot .22, isn’t that an “assault rifle”?

A bit more seriously, I don’t know what kind of gun was used in this incident other than that it was a “rifle”. That could be anything from a single-shot .22 to a bolt-action hunting gun, to a military-style semi-automatic rifle. We’ll probably find out eventually.

The “answer” to your question is that the gun grabbers want to progressively eliminate all private ownership of weapons.

Even though more Americans are killed each year by plastic buckets and baseball bats, these people would eliminate private ownership of full-auto weapons in a heartbeat if it were politically expedient to do so.

I once had to fly a hamster from Massachusetts to California. They won’t let you take a rodent into the cabin, which makes sense, (they chew wires, along with everything else) but they also made me take her out of her metal-bar cage and put her in a plastic kitten carrier.

When I got her back in CA, there was an almost-escape-sized expansion to one of the airholes (and she’d rubbed her nose raw working on it). I mentioned to the baggage people that if we’d had an hour layover anywhere on the way, that plane would have been grounded until it had been completely dismantled and reassembled.

1000sundays.com

Welcome to 1000 Sundays, a site devoted to the examination of what the Democratic Candidate for President of the United States of America believes. At 1000 Sundays, we believe that all men are free to believe as they will. However, we also believe that a citizen has the right to examine those beliefs so that they might be honestly and accurately informed about the motivations of the person seeking their vote. Barack Obama has made many public statements about his faith that can be freely seen by voters, but like any politician, it is possible that there is more to Senator Obama’s beliefs than can be easily determined by his carefully guarded public declarations. On this page, we will attempt to peer more deeply into the question of Mr. Obama’s beliefs, and we will begin that exploration by looking into the church and teacher that the senator personally states “introduced” him to his Christian faith. Mr. Obama sought this man’s teaching for twenty years. That’s 1000 Sundays. This is 1000Sundays.com.

What a freakin’ racist puke. Still. Odd that both Wright and Limbaugh are on the same page predicting Obama’s demise. Wow, didn’t see that one coming.

After listening to this lunatic 20 years, Obama threw him under the bus, and he’s been left to seethe and spew hate without missing a beat. Whether Obama’s motivations were purely out of self-preservation (ding ding ding) or something more noble (not), the fact is he distanced himself from Wright’s hatefest.

Can all the raving lunatic preachers also be thrown under the bus, so our politicans don’t pander to them any more? I think this is the bigger question.

Pretty please, with sugar on top.

VDH on Obama’s dry hump media and other matters of Orwellian ethos

I am afraid I no longer believe …

…That we have an inquisitive American media as we once knew it. There has emerged something as bad as state-sanctioned coercion—which we could at least identify, and thus struggle against.

Now comes a more insidious, brave new self-imposed censorship of the Orwellian mode. It is not just the perennial embarrassment Chris Matthews describing his Obama ecstasy on camera, or even Newsweek’s Evan Thomas comparing his President to God, or even CNN execs being exposed trashing the US abroad at Davos, or whitewashing Saddam, but rather a more incremental new groupspeak in which basic words and ideas—from terrorism to war itself—have been reformulated according to political dictates.

it’s a good one.

Did you forget your sarc tag? A local LEO said that and was contradicted the next day, I believe, by an FBI spokesperson. I’m looking for a link now, but in the meantime, enjoy this one: Arkansas shooter had more targets in mind

Fox News has a name for the suspect: James Bond Brunn. Also saying he was shot in the head.

That could be James von Brunn, I think I misheard.

He was no 007, that’s for sure. He only thought he had a license to kill.

Nope. He’s got a website called Holy Western Empire.

How long before we hear calls for increased “assault weapon” gun control because of this incident?

The victims may be Jewish. That presents a conundrum for the media.

Exploit this for political gain, per SOP? Or bury it because of the location and possible nationality/religion of the victims (also SOP)? Choices, choices.

Anybody upthread talk about the National Holocaust Memorial shooting in DC?

566 doppelganglander  Wed, Jun 10, 2009 11:33:47am

Does anyone know how to do a screen capture in Windows? I’ve got his Wikipedia User Page up and it’s marked for deletion. It’s a doozy, too.

At least three people were shot today at Washington’s Holocaust Museum, after an 89-year-old white supremacist entered the building and opened fire “indiscriminately”.

Press ‘printscreen’ button on your keyboard then create a new document or image in word/paint/photoshop or whatever and paste.

Google “James W. von Brunn”. This guy is a total nutcase.

You go VDH!

Heh …. we have an acquaintance who graduated from teachers’ college about a year ago who prefaces every sentence with “As a professional educator…”. I’ve wanted to follow VDH’s line more than once!

572 Pawn of the Oppressor  Wed, Jun 10, 2009 11:44:02am

Geez, it’s over a week since the last major nutcase shooting… Why did it take so long for a follow-up? Then again, the perp was apparently almost 90…

Big deal. What he was saying on the phone was much more relevant than that he had his feet up.

True, but I still have as little respect for him as he has for the office. I don’t respect him, actually, I am embarrassed by the man and what he is going to do to this country.

re: #8 dhg4

I can’t believe that he didn’t express similar hatred in the past and it’s still remarkable to me that Barack Obama didn’t see fit to distance himself from Rev. Wright until it became politically expedient to do so.

Birds of a feather….

re: #37 Thanos

Wright is racism writ large, just like David Duke or Thomas Robb, why wouldn’t everyone call him a racist?

Because he’s Black?

he is an embarrassment to this country.

580 Macker  Wed, Jun 10, 2009 7:59:52pm

I read this story earlier today (but not here, LGF is blocked at work), and ya know what? The “Reverend” Wright should have used the following word instead of “Jews”:

JOOOOOOS!

/motherfrakkin’ bastard

581 erisldysnomia  Wed, Jun 10, 2009 8:18:06pm

Rev. Man! Wright, de Jews is goin’ t’snatch away yo’ Church and turn it into some synagogue. Duzn’t wo’ry, dough, ya’ kin be da damn janito’.

582 Areopagitica  Wed, Jun 10, 2009 10:38:07pm

Wow, if Wright thinks the Jooos are ethnically cleansing Gaza, I wonder what he thinks of:

1. that video on youtube of Hamas thugs pulling up to a palestinian wedding and shooting most of the guests and the groom to death for dancing and playing wedding music

2. Nahool the bee

3. The iranian government’s treatment of Bahais

4. That little islamophobic event called Darfur

5. Egyptian treatment of Copts

6. Pan-Am Flight 103

7. Expultion of the remaining jewish communities in Yemen…Oh wait, he hates those “damn jooos”

8. September 11, 2001…oh wait we already know that one

Seriously, Obama and his leftist islamic appeasement machine is bumming me out.

583 Pupdawg  Thu, Jun 11, 2009 8:26:55am

“Of course I voted for him; he’s my son. I’m proud of him,” Wright said. “I’ve got five biological kids. They all make mistakes and bad choices. I haven’t stopped loving any of them. He made mistakes. He made bad choices. I’ve got kids who listen to their friends. He listened to those around him. I did not disown him.”

Evidently, if taken literally, Rev. Wright is a birther nirther or just confused as to his past sowing…or, is his son POTUS in whom he is obviously well pleased? It’s them Jews the Wright reverend is blaming. I guess ‘Playing God’ is limited to some folk of the cloth, doctors, serial killers and certainly not last, our saviour, The One, President Obama.

584 ASP001  Thu, Jun 11, 2009 9:55:32am

If you listen to the audio recording of his comments he actually says “that f*&@ing Jew”

585 RalphShort  Fri, Jun 12, 2009 3:45:52am

No doubt Wright is both a nut case and consumed with hatred. Oh, and our dear President and his wife faithfully attended his “sermons” for 20 odd years, made substantial donations to his “church”, had Wright officiate at his wedding and had his children baptized by him.

Wait a sec, all of these comments from Wright are always “taken out of context” and there is nothing to worry about.

Point taken, but in this modern age, 1920s “Brer-Rabbit”-style black-speak is in very poor taste, to say the least.
