McKinney Arrested By Israel, Appears on Hate Radio

Moonbats • Views: 28,150

One of the craziest moonbat politicians in the US, Cynthia McKinney, has been arrested again for trying to break Israel’s blockade of Hamas: Israel navy intercepts boat with ex-U.S. Rep. McKinney.

JERUSALEM (CNN) — The Israeli navy took control of a boat that violated an Israeli blockade and crossed into Gazan waters Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces said, while a Gaza group said the ship was carrying humanitarian aid, a former U.S. congresswoman and a Nobel laureate.

The boat’s crew included former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney, according to the Free Gaza Movement, a human rights group that sent the boat it calls “Spirit of Humanity” from Cyprus. …

IDF said the Israeli navy contacted the boat, which it called the Arion, while it was still at sea and warned the crew they would not be allowed to enter Gazan waters “because of security risks in the area and the existing naval blockade.”

Disregarding all warnings, the boat entered Gazan coastal waters, IDF said. An Israeli navy force intercepted, boarded and took control of the boat, directing it toward Ashdod, Israel, IDF said. The boat’s crew, the military said, would “be handed over to the proper authorities.” …

According to the Free Gaza group, McKinney said, “This is an outrageous violation of international law against us. Our boat was not in Israeli waters, and we were on a human rights mission to the Gaza Strip,” before authorities confiscated cell phones.

“President Obama just told Israel to let in humanitarian and reconstruction supplies, and that’s exactly what we tried to do. We’re asking the international community to demand our release so we can resume our journey,” McKinney said, according to the group.

Adam Holland, meanwhile, has been tracking McKinney’s frequent appearances on antisemitic radio shows: McKinney on hate radio again.

Now McKinney has done several more interviews on another racist radio show with far-right links — this time with a better-known, and much more widely read, internet hate monger called Daryl Bradford Smith. You can read an archived version of his website’s homepage here: Zionism Research - The French Connection - Fighting Criminal Zionism. (Has McKinney read it? How did she find these people?) This webpage, on which recordings of the programs featuring McKinney can be found, features a banner headline endorsing the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It reads:

The Protocols are sometimes criticized as containing nothing that had not been said previously by philosophers or statesmen; but even if that were true, it would detract little from their interest. For their importance does not lie in the aim, world domination, nor in the theory by which it is attained, exploitation of man’s baser instincts, but in the extraordinary astuteness with which the practical application of the plan has been suited to existing conditions.

Smith’s homepage links to other pages on his website devoted to the works of infamous bigots such as Charles Coughlin, Denis Fahey, Nesta Webster, and Douglas Reed. The page devoted to Fahey deals with what Smith calls the “Judeo-Bolshevist plot against Christianity”. In fact, the vast majority of the authors published by Smith on his website come from the extreme far-right of the political spectrum, and promote, as did the Nazis, the view that communism was a Jewish conspiracy. However, Smith’s website also promotes the Stalinist Doctors’ Plot myth. It seems that Smith is happy to cross ideological lines and promote myths of czarist, fascist or Stalinist origin, so long as they support his anti-Jewish agenda. Now he’s interviewed Cynthia McKinney and added her socialism of fools to the mix.

At the last ANSWER event I went to, the ISM was collecting money for this exact trip — sending the boat from Cyprus to Gaza again. And just PRAYING that they’ll get stopped and arrested! Which is their whole goal — to provoke Israel. Not to bring “aid” to Gaza.

Caption foir the linked photo above:

“And then there was Paul Larudee (on the right) of the International Solidarity Movement and his fellow anti-Israel activists announcing that they were going to repeat their attempt to sail a ship from Cyprus to Gaza during wartime. (Their first five journeys, before the current hostilities, arrived unopposed, but Israel rebuffed their most recent attempt, not allowing the civilian ship to enter a war zone.) “

Needs more cement.

WASHINGTON, DC — 2008 Green presidential nominee Cynthia McKinney is participating in a second campaign to deliver goods to Gaza in defiance of an Israeli blockade.

According to recent news reports, port authority officials in Cyprus have detained a multi-national Free Gaza Movement boat in Lanarca under pressure from Israel. The boat is carrying 33 human rights activists, including Ms. McKinney, and shipments of medical supplies and cement.

See Ms. McKinney’s June 25 blog post for an update ([Link: dignity.ning.com…]

Ms. McKinney notes that President Obama himself has called for medical supplies and cement to be sent to Gaza. Despite the Obama statement and a request from Ms. McKinney to the White House for an assurance of safety, the US State Department has warned the boat against sailing to Gaza.

Cynthia McKinney, a former six-term Democratic member of the US House from Georgia, was aboard a Free Gaza Movement boat delivering medical supplies to Gaza that was rammed by Israeli naval forces in January, 2009. Ms. McKinney and running mate Rosa Clemente were nominated for President and Vice President at the Green Party’s 2008 national convention in Chicago, Illinois.

I doubt even Hamas would want them.

I don’t care where they go. But Israel could charge them with aid to terrorists, convict and imprison them, and say

We will hold them in a legitimate prison, with visitation, for the duration of their sentence, but, should someone arrange freedom for Shalit, we will, as a humanitarian gesture, release them early”

WFP says funding shortfall for NKorea food aid

BEIJING (AP) — The U.N.’s food agency cannot feed millions of hungry women and children in impoverished North Korea because international donations have dried up and the communist regime has restricted its operations, an official said Wednesday.

The World Food Program has received only 15 percent of the $504 million it needs to feed 6.2 million vulnerable North Koreans as the food situation worsens during a lean growing season before the November harvest, according to Torben Due, the WFP’s representative for North Korea.

Due would not give a reason for the funding shortfall but said he understood that donors may be responding to the political situation in North Korea.

The WFP has received no contributions after North Korea carried out a nuclear test in May, he said. That test drew international condemnation and garnered U.N. sanctions.

I can’t accept that. National Socialism and Fascism were nationalized forms of communism. I think it was Stalin who complained about these two new forms that got their starts in the ‘20’s and ‘30’s. He complained that they were to the Right of Communism. All three forms were forms of Statism/Totalitarianism. I suppose you could argue that Fascism is on one end of a spectrum, Communism on the other, and Freedom in the center, but I prefer to look at Freedom on one end of the spectrum and Totalitarianism on the other.

They’re calling for Palestinian unity, dressed up as Goofy, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Is this to be the answer to the problems of the Middle East, that all will be well if:

1. All settlement activity ceases.
2. All Palestinians dress up as cartoon characters.

I’d support 2. as a good option.

When I went to see the Body Works show in San Diego, there was a whole board of write up of the Plasticine process and how it is another way you can donate your body to science. It stated that Michael Jackson was extremely interested in this process for himself when he died. But I don’t the the Jackson family, whose life support just died last week, will give up any control on how to milk his death for all its worth.

I recently watched Top Secret! for the first time in years. Hilarious movie.

Everything from the title credits (Skeet Surfing “If everyone had a 12-gauge, and a surfboard too…..”) to the French Resistance (note Latrine is always being wounded, and Deja Vu always asks “Haven’t we met somewhere before?”) to other jokes.

Like the hotel, the Gay Schlofen - Gehe schlofen is Yiddish for “go to sleep”.
Or the kartoffel farm, where, if you know a little German (cue midget in lederhosen), you’ll know kartoffel is potato, so it is surprising when the farm is run by a Mr. Kartoffel.

And the scene upstairs in the Swedish bookstore is a copy from some other war movie, but I didn’t catch the title of it.

Former President Jimmy Carter has also been on missions to Gaza which were characterized by Gaza people as understood to be “from Obama”.

Obama’s White House re-established ties with Syria last week.

I tend to think of it as anarchy at one end, totalitarianism on the other, and freedom performing a constant balancing act with social responsibility somewhere on the line in between.

That’s generally what happens when you apply logic to the political spectrum. People will parrot the same phrases over and over without ever sitting down and actually thinking about what they are saying.

It seems that Smith is happy to cross ideological lines and promote myths of czarist, fascist or Stalinist origin, so long as they support his anti-Jewish agenda. Now he’s interviewed Cynthia McKinney and added her socialism of fools to the mix.

I just pointed out in a thread here a few days ago about how some lefties are taking objection to the fact that anti-Semites are hitching their wagon to leftist causes and infiltrating the ranks. Here is one link from Portland Indymedia…
Rose City Antifa: Statement on Anti-Semites and their Collaborators.

By making its anti-Semitism explicit, and by organizing in association with racists, fascists and Holocaust-deniers, the Portland 9/11 Truth Alliance has shown its true colors. It has cleared up any confusion in anti-fascist ranks about how we should consider the organization…
Rose City Antifa calls for the Citybikes Workers’ Cooperative to remove Tim Calvert from the co-op, and to thereby stop putting food on his plate. We believe that those pushing organized Jew-hatred and pogrom politics should be collectively resisted. If a collective or co-op can’t deal properly with an anti-Semitic activist within its ranks, then it does not deserve to be supported.

The same despicable creeps are trying to infiltrate the ranks on both the left and the right. The sensible people on both sides will tell them to get lost. The bigots won’t.
