Kindle 2 Price Drop

If you were intrigued by Amazon’s Kindle e-book reader but thought it was a bit expensive, there’s good news today as Amazon drops the price by $60 on the Kindle 2, to below $300. Amazon says it’s because they’re manufacturing a larger volume of the devices, decreasing the cost.

The price of the larger Kindle DX (available in 3 to 5 weeks) will stay the same: $489.
