-RetweetAudio: Robert Stacy McCain on Alan Colmes Radio Show

US News | Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 12:54:23 pm PDT

Here’s a clip from the Alan Colmes radio show, in April 2006, featuring white supremacist blogger Robert Stacy McCain trying to defend himself against the charge that he’s made numerous racist comments on the record.

I use the word “trying” because this is one of the most pathetic performances of evasion and misdirection I’ve ever heard. You won’t believe this one.

Notice that McCain does admit that he posted at Free Republic under the name “BurkeCalhounDabney,” and as we showed in this post, some of the links McCain posted were to outright white supremacist and neo-Nazi sites. For example: Overthrow.com.

The source of Robert Stacy McCain’s username is Robert Lewis Dabney, an unabashed Confederate racist who said — after the Civil War — that slavery was “the righteous, the best, yea, the only tolerable relation” between whites and blacks.
