Jerome Corsi: Very Bad Craziness on Fox News

Weird • Views: 5,137

He’s a Birther, he promotes insane conspiracy theories at World Net Daily, he appears frequently on Alex Jones’s whacked out radio show, he’s appeared more than once on the white supremacist radio show Political Cesspool — and last night he got two whole segments on Fox News’s Sean Hannity show to promote the black helicopter New World Order bad craziness in his new semi-literate book.

This really is a new low for Fox News.

Fox Bircher News

I think that might be more accurate these days.

2 Honorary Yooper  Wed, Oct 14, 2009 11:26:00am

Fox has sunk to a new low, making a new low lower than the lows it hit in the 1990s. Weclome back to the old Tabloid FNC now fortified with more lunacy.

FNC is making me wish for their tabloid days in the 1990s to make a comeback.

They talk about our dependence on foreign oil, but where exactly is the GOP on this issue? Where is a comprehensive energy agenda from republicans? This isn't just about what Obama's doing, but what counter-proposals do we have? Sean Vannity and corsi don't want to discuss that- they just want to demonize all things Obama.

There are some Wikipedians that just look at recent changes to see if they're vandalism. If so, they push a button and a script restores the previous copy.

If you're interested in the vandalized version, you can view the page history to look at previous versions of a page, or you can compare one revision with another.

Doubtful.

Wikians earn their stripes by reverting vandalism of all kinds, at any given time, there are hundreds of community members monitoring the recent changes page that tracks changes made to any page.

That said, Charles shouldn't take it too seriously. Everyone gets their page vandalized, it's the nature of the Internet.

I don't know why people the left thinks that globalization is bad because "OH NOES THE CULTURES" and the right thinks it's bad because "OH NOES MY SOVEREIGNTY".

Globalization is an out and out good thing. The same people who don't like globalization now would have 250 years ago been arguing against expansion of the United States. Good thing no one listened to you then. As the world becomes more globalized it will also liberalize, be more open to free trade, less authoritarian, more democratic. That's a glorious thing. Aren't those the ideals the United States fights for?

40 Sharmuta  Wed, Oct 14, 2009 11:40:33am

Has it occurred to corsi that we do have a global economy? Not because of some sinister plot to undermine the Constitution, but because technology and international trade have brought it about. When one country gets hit economically- it sends out ripples to other countries. There is no putting this genie back in the bottle. The global economy is here to stay.

I also find it odd the kooks see this as so problematic. It's through trade and market forces that other countries can improve their standard of living. You would think they'd be happy to see prosperity growing in the world, but considering corsi hangs with racists like the political cesspool, perhaps the improvement of the lives of people in less developed countries isn't something he/they care about in the slightest. We'll keep prosperity at home, and to hell with the rest of you, I guess.

Today I see that Hot Air commenters are going through LGF looking for posts where I defended LGF against cherry picking of our comments -- they're going on a hypocrisy hunt.

What they don't realize is that comments advocating civil war or assassination, or calling people "child molesters," were NEVER tolerated at LGF.

And now that I have vastly improved tools for monitoring comments, many of the offensive comments that didn't rise to that level are also now gone.

52 Gus  Wed, Oct 14, 2009 11:49:37am

Looks like Corsi is already spreading that G20 conspiracy theory at WND. The G20 doesn't implement regulation. The G20 is simply a meeting in which they sometimes come to agreements on policy and the direction member nations should take. The Financial Stability Board that was established this year has a mandate of:

* assess vulnerabilities affecting the financial system and identify and oversee action needed to address them;
* promote co-ordination and information exchange among authorities responsible for financial stability;
* monitor and advise on market developments and their implications for regulatory policy;
* advise on and monitor best practice in meeting regulatory standards;
* undertake joint strategic reviews of the policy development work of the international standard setting bodies to ensure their work is timely, coordinated, focused on priorities, and addressing gaps;
* set guidelines for and support the establishment of supervisory colleges;
* manage contingency planning for cross-border crisis management, particularly with respect to systemically important firms; and
* collaborate with the IMF to conduct Early Warning Exercises.

As you can see it is mainly to "monitor and advise." The original agreement from the G20 can be seen here.

None of this supersedes US law. The fact remains that the US markets are integrally tied to international markets and stability. They do not exist in a vacuum of US isolationism no matter how much people like Corsi, Paul, et al, would have you believe. Things will change over time and a greater emphasis on international cooperation and standards will grow even greater over time. It is essentially the evolution of financial systems and governance.

After the Democrats disbanded their KKK, they just set up ACORN to be the intimidation and terror wing for their plantation and the blacks serve as expendable sand bags so they can throw them overboard as needed.

From the Hot Air thread whining about Fox's "persecution."

I mean, imagine of all the media were your political arm... Pravda anyone?

I understand why the Democrats don’t want Fox anywhere near their hen house. They need 100% message control and mind control to sell their marxist anti-American propaganda and any adversarial media can spoil message by asking the right questions.

What I don’t understand is why any Republican administration would let the disgraced rat-controlled media anywhere near the White House press room. It should be a top priority of the Republicans to use the FCC to shut down these rat propagandists like CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN once and for all and purge PBS of all its Marxists, which is pretty much the entire network. It should be a very open agenda in the Republican Party Platform.

re: #54 Charles

Any search for "obama" + "monkey" gets one the customary brilliance:

Perhaps someone can explain this to me, for I myself am just a Cave Man and your modern ways confuse and frighten me. How, exactly, can this be considered rascist? Because the monkey is brown? Hahahahaha. Wait. I realize now I’m not supposed to laugh at that. Therefore I will control my laughter. Do you mean to suggest Obama is brown? See, now that is funny. However, I don’t think the cartoon is apt — Obama has larger and much funnier ears than Curious George, and he’s probably not that big on bananas. A cartoonist would have to work in a pineapple if they were going for award-winning oppositeness.

This thin-skinnedness (”Is this Yurp, are these Yurpeans?” cartoon famously depicting Bush as a monkey. And that was just the beginning. Here’s an exercise for you, as a Cave Man I’m especially impressionable to the mystery and to the magic that is the internet, try entering into your favorite browser search parameters : [+cartoons +bush +monkey] and see what happens. You’ll be amazed. There’s no end to it. Buck up. Get used to it, Senator. There’s much much more to follow. Entire careers will be based on making you appear ridiculous should you actually get yourself elected to the most eminently cartoonable lampoonable satireable (

Then there is this choice one:

Can an usurper even be assassinated?

Oh that’s right - Hot Air ignores that story and tells us to bow to the monkey. His birth was announced in the local shopper, for God’s sake!

So, are you saying that the best defense they can even imagine is the 6 year old whine, 'but Charles had commenters who said bad things too?' and hope to dreg up crap that other people posted that slipped under the radar months and years ago in a lame justification for their own tacit approval of racists, bigots and all around shitty people?

Republicans have lost so much in terms of "market share" (only 20% of the electorate polled identify themselves as republican) that you now have FOX in the unenviable position of having to not only attempt to legitimize the Birchers and the LaRouchers, but actually pass them off as the "new face" of the republican party. Which is hilarious when you think about it. I mean, they're trying to pass these crowds off as just your average, everyday, heartland-Americans, when in fact they're mostly ALL tin-foil hat wearing, conspiracy theory believing, the-end-is-nigh sign waving, racist psychopaths.

I guess when News Corps' stock got down to $5 a share, they must've had a meeting and decided that ratings and ad revenue were more important than trying to help save the republican party as an institution. Because - you can say whatever you want about their content - they're killing it in ratings.

OT (or is it?)

One Baptist Church To Celebrate Halloween By Burning Bibles

The Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Canton, N.C. will celebrate Halloween by burning Bibles that aren’t the King James Version, as well as music and books and anything else Pastor Marc Grizzard says is a satanic influence.

Among the authors whose books Grizzard plans to burn are well known ministers Rick Warren and Billy Graham because he says they have occasionally used Bibles other than the King James Version, which is the sole biblical source he considers infallible.

According to the church’s Web site, members will also burn “Satan's music such as country, rap, rock, pop, heavy metal, western, soft and easy, southern gospel, contemporary Christian, jazz, soul (and) oldies.

“We will also be burning Satan's popular books written by heretics like Billy Graham, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, John McArthur, James Dobson, Charles Swindoll, John Piper, Chuck Colson, Tony Evans, Oral Roberts, Jimmy Swagart, Mark Driskol, Franklin Graham, Bill Bright, Tim Lahaye, Paula White, T.D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, Joyce Myers, Brian McLaren, Robert Schuller, Mother Teresa, The Pope, Rob Bell, Erwin McManus, Donald Miller, Shane Claiborne, Brennan Manning (and) William Young.

During the book burning, according to the Web site, barbecued chicken fried chicken and “all the sides” will be served.

Hey, if the KJV was good enough for the apostles, it's good enough for me.

One thing's for sure... the WH really picked the sharpest knife in the drawer to go after Fox: some background explains so much. [Link: www.frugal-cafe.com...]

Democratic media consultant Dunn’s claim to fame is her decade-long service as chief strategist for disgraced Democrat and former Senate Majority Leader-turned-health care lobbyist Tom Daschle. She was in the thick of his failed re-election campaign as Daschle asserted a bogus property-tax homestead exemption claim on his $1.9 million D.C. mansion – which he listed as his primary residence despite voting in South Dakota and claiming it as his primary residence in order to run for re-election. And Dunn was with Daschle during the years he failed to pay gobs of taxes on a luxury car and driver provided to him by crony donor Leo Hindery, Jr.
After working as communications manger for Obama’s political action committee and then as senior adviser to his 2008 presidential campaign, Dunn “trained” White House press secretary and anti-Fox sniper Robert Gibbs.
