White Supremacist Blogger Posts Obscene Attack

Here’s a comment posted yesterday by white supremacist blogger Robert Stacy McCain at loony wingnut blog Protein Wisdom, in a thread started by one of McCain’s supporters: Kathleen Parker’s top picks for GOP women [Darleen Click]:

Comment by Robert Stacy McCain on 10/15 @ 10:48 pm #

Let me put it this way, Barrett: If I ever went over to HuffPo or TrueSlant and started trolling the comments, people would question my sanity. It bespeaks a smallness and a frightening level of fanaticism. Stop sucking Charles Johnson’s c-ck and start thinking about your own reputation and career, as what you do under your own name, Barrett Brown, is not the same as your anonymous
c-cksucking at LGF.

Thanks for my PW friends for letting me know about this.

Why is Robert Stacy McCain lashing out at Barrett Brown like this? Because I linked to Brown’s article a few days ago.

For more on Robert Stacy McCain and his thoroughly documented ties to white supremacists and neo-Nazis, here’s the LGF tag link.

Stacy McCain has serious issues with homosexuality. One of the reasons he's repeatedly attacked Meghan McCain is for her continued work with the Log Cabin Republicans. Here some of the lovely things he had to say:

"Does it sound campy to say I love gay men?" says Meghan in typical fag-hag fashion, since this is the only way she has of getting affection from men.

And this:

Women hanging around the gay disco, however, is a very familar phenomenon. And the belief of some women that they have a special friendship with their gay male friends is a myth.

Let me disabuse you ladies of your naivete: A reasonably attractive young gay man has no problem getting with two or three guys a night. And that's if he's really picky. (Read And The Band Played On, by Randy Shilts.) So when some lonely, frustrated woman wants to hang around with gay guys because it's the only male companionship she can get, she is recognized for the truly pathetic loser she is.

Show of hands: Who thinks Meghan McCain has the slightest inkling of the things her gay "friends" say behind her back?

He goes on:

“Homophobia is the last socially accepted prejudice,” McCain says, repeating it for emphasis.

It's not true. It's just a politically correct slogan, dependent on a dubious pseudoscientific term, "homophobia." Grant that there are genuinely intolerant people in the world, in what sense does opposition to a political agenda -- and her support for same-sex marriage is the chief topic of the interview -- constitute a "phobia," an irrational pathology?

I've heard that people who regularly resort to that sort of imagery in their writing and speaking are inadvertently giving the world a glimpse of their own fantasies.

OMG. I got to know some Log Cabins at an event that was put on. Sadly necessary given gay bashing. The event was a self defense training class for the Log Cabin members with some friends. Some or us Republican handgun trainers volunteered their time for this. Your post shows why they were interested. Gay Republicans. We had very illuminating talks that day, but thats for Open Thread sometime.

More from the LGF tags...
RS McCain takes a stand against history:

In 1996, a year before he was hired by The Washington Times, McCain co-wrote a manifesto called "Down on Dixie: the Confederate Cause and the South's Scalawag Press." Advertised for $1.50 apiece on DixieNet, the 16-page pamphlet looks nostalgically at "a time, not so many years ago, when newspapers in the South were also expected to be newspapers of the South and newspapers for the South." By contrast, McCain and his co-author, now-deceased Sons of Confederate Veterans member Gilbert Smith, accuse modern-day Southern journalists of waging "a vicious campaign of propaganda and distortion" by saying, among other things, that the Civil War was fought over slavery.

"[L]et Southern journalists continue to sneer in ignorance at those things which they imagine are represented by the Confederate battle flag," McCain concludes, in a condensed version of the pamphlet that appeared on DixieNet. "But this I shall not do. I shall not buy into the North's hypocritical claims of moral superiority. Like my ancestors before me, I'll take my stand in Dixie." [Link: www.splcenter.org...]

Robert Stacy McCain on "The Peter Brimelow Rule"

No conservative white Christian is allowed to discuss ethnicity and culture. Only liberals and members of ethnic minorities can do that.

You never discover the fine-print rules of American public discourse until you’re accused of violating them. Generally speaking, liberals ignore cultural discourse among conservatives. Only when you discuss potentially sensitive topics in such a way as to waive your Miranda-warning right to remain silent—“Anything you say can and will be used against you by the New York Times”—will your contributions to the discourse be wrenched out of context as proof of your malevolent intent. At some point, you’d think I might cease to be amazed by this distinctive habit of liberals, but they keep coming up with innovative new variatons on their otherwise predictable idiocy.

Safari has serious "memory leaks", a result I hypothesize that is due to optimizing for speed over everything else.

Here's a pretty funny takedown on stacy (language warning):

ROBERT STACY MCCAIN DECLARES WAR ON EVERYONE— IS PANDERING LIKE A LOSER

Stacy is a homophone to high hell, which means he is also taking it in the back on a nightly basis by whoever or whatever is willing to play ball.

Words cannot describe this failure hate-fuck of a human being, so we will let him do the talking. ENTER THE DRAGON:

Gay men have mother issues. This has been a subject of much controversy. Freud’s view of homosexuality as a species of mental illness, and the resulting conception of homosexuality as a psychopathology requiring therapeutic intervention, has wrought much mischief over the years. Yet Freud was certainly correct to think of homosexuality as an matter of development with roots in early childhood, particularly in the parent-child relationship. No need to indulge in elaborate symbolism or references to Greek mythology (Freud was full of crap about that) to say this: It is obvious that most gay men can’t get past the “female = Mom” hurdle in their minds. We could discuss that at length, but this is a blog, not an advanced psychology text, so let’s move on.

Oh he invokes Freud? Well how does Stacy have so much knowledge of homosexual behavior? Could it be that he’s ACTUALLY GAY? HMMM wHO kNoWss.

Here's more:

Gay male culture is profoundly misogynistic. One of the most absurd claims of feminism is that the fashion industry’s mistreatment of women — its depiction of them as “sex objects” who are only attractive when young, thin, beautiful, glammed-up and dressed like streetwalkers — is a manifestation of oppressive patriarchal sexism. This is a lie that could only deceive anyone so stupid they don’t notice that all men in the fashion industry are gay. To the extent that the Vogue and Cosmo are misognystic (sic.) hate literature (as all Women’s Studies majors are taught), it is because they represent the typical gay man’s view of women. A blog post, not a textbook, and we move on.

Gay people are misogynist, unlike Robert Stacy McCain, who was battling on the front lines of feminism before even women were into it. You can tell by this god damn awful hate rant that Stacy isn’t sexist/racist/ (insert -ist here) AT ALL.

What an utterly disgusting creep. And apparently, he's quite proud of it.

Saudi man sues over death of 'beautiful camel'

A $250,000 compensation claim has been made against Saudi Arabia's oil giant Saudi Aramco for causing the death of a prized camel, local press reports say.

The case, to be heard on Monday, involves a three-year-old black camel which fell into a large hole dug in the desert to store crude oil.

The camel's owner is quoted saying the beast had been entered in one of the region's popular camel beauty pageants.

The compensation claim is based on the value experts put on the camel.

EVOLUTIONISTS RE-EVALUATING NUMBER OF DINOSAURS

National Geographic is reporting that as many as a third of alleged dinosaur species might never have existed. The report is based on new findings that juvenile dinosaurs have mistakenly been labeled as separate species from their parents because paleontologists didn’t understand how different they looked in the juvenile stage...

This report shows how terribly fallible the evolutionist fossil investigators are. It also lessens the number of animals that would have been on Noah’s Ark. Noah did not have to carry every sub-species, such as every kind of dog, into the Ark. He only had to carry a representative of each kind. The average size of the dinosaurs, based on the fossil record, was the size of a sheep or small pony (M. Crichton, The Lost World, p. 122). Struthiomimus, for example, was the size of an ostrich, and Compsognathus was the size of a chicken. Thus, only some so-called dinosaurs were overly large, and of these, Noah could have taken the eggs or juveniles. Since reptiles can grow as long as they live, the large dinosaurs were probably very old ones (The New Answers Book). Even the largest dinosaurs were small when first hatched. “There were probably fewer than 50 distinct groups or kinds of dinosaurs that had to be on the Ark” (Ken Ham, The New Answers Book, p. 168).

Here he admits (within the context) that if Hitler had a TV show that he would appear on that show. Godwin's law notwithstanding, the reason he would is because he would have another opportunity to hear himself talk. Strange, he pretends to have all of these principles and ideas but he goes back and forth in an almost passive-aggressive manner.

OK, sushi story. My father, once upon a time, was in the police academy. This was back in the mid-seventies. One day, the drill instructor is walking the line--stops in front of an Asian cadet.

"Well, Takomori," he screams, "did you enjoy your rice wrapped in seaweed with an eel in the middle for breakfast this morning?"

(The man's actual name has been lost to history, but for reasons that will become clear, the 'rice wrapped in seaweed with an eel in the middle' is believed to be word-for-word transmission.)

Like I said, it was the mid-seventies, California police departments were just starting to get minority recruits, and there was no such thing as sensitivity training. So Takomori screams back, expressionless, "Sir, yes sir! I did enjoy my rice wrapped in seaweed with an eel in the middle for breakfast this morning, sir!"

Without hesitation, Johnson screams back, "Sir, yes sir! I also enjoyed my rice wrapped in seaweed with an eel in the middle for breakfast this morning, SIR!"

re: #29 SanFranciscoZionist

I saw that a while ago. I find it interesting when people are threatened by women wanting to spend time with gay men. And "They aren't really your friends" is such an odd, pathetic, sixth-grade-girl kind of thing to say. From a grown man to a younger woman, it's frankly weird.

Actually, it's extremely revealing of RSM's attitude towards women-- here is what he says:

Let me disabuse you ladies of your naivete: A reasonably attractive young gay man has no problem getting with two or three guys a night. And that’s if he’s really picky. (Read And The Band Played On, by Randy Shilts.) So when some lonely, frustrated woman wants to hang around with gay guys because it’s the only male companionship she can get, she is recognized for the truly pathetic loser she is.

In other words, the only reason any men ever willingly hang around women is to get sex from them. That's what he's saying. If you're not a straight man, the only reason you tolerate the company of women at all is because you think you might get sex from them.
So if you're a gay man, RSM literally cannot comprehend why you would have any female friends.

He's scum. Racist, women-hating scum. Bottom line.

106 Gus  Fri, Oct 16, 2009 9:25:44pm

Not surprised to learn that the crab comes from Russia or the USA (presumably Alaska), the salmon from Canada and the shrimps or scallop from southeast Asia.

Then we get the the ground beef and the country of origin is listed as 'USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, Argentina and/or New Zealand'.

BTW-- more on RSM's misogyny:

Meghan McCain has been getting all kinds of hate mail from the wingnutsphere for daring to post a picture on Twitter of herself in a tanktop. Because she --gasp-- has BOOBS-- people are losing their minds.

Guess who is leading the charge? Woman-loving Stacy McCain. Here is what he wrote:

Meghan's Twitter feed is full of "motherf**king sh*t," as is her otherwise empty skull. That one hears ugly rumors about her from Young Republican types -- well, "sources say" many things, none of them flattering, but perhaps they have malicious motives.

Certainly, it would be libelous if someone were to state as a fact that Meghan is a pushover after four margaritas (and that she never stops at three). Yet my attorney assures me that for purely humorous purposes, there would be nothing actionable were anyone were to react to Ms. McCain's column title, "Don't Call Me a Slut," by quoting Elizabethan literature.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Nice, huh?

Similarly, they'll claim things like birth control and women's liberation and feminism are all about women "fucking for fun"-- just like our beloved Mullah Buzzsaw used to claim.

There's one other dimension that I see, ice. Many people prefer a strong demarcation between the masculine and feminine. Gayness is something that challenges that demarcation. It's a sliding scale issue, though. Wanting to maintain some distinctions between the two is not the same as hating gays, in my eyes.

Not necessarily. Gay men are often very masculine, as lesbians are often very feminine.

True, but gayness as a whole does blur lines that some people hate to see blurred.

and it comes from both sides.

She seems like a delightful young woman who really could give a shit what douchbags like RSM think about her...and I wish I had her boobs.

I can't even comment on his obvious gay issues and women issues and issues with male/female relationships and the fact that dudes who scream the loudest about homosexuals are normally the dudes who are having homo-erotic dreams and hate themselves for it.

It is late, but I have to say is that I love my gay friends, they will dance to ABBA with me, which my husband will not do. I hang out with them because they are my friends and I treasure them, not because I want to have sex with them.

That's what husbands are for.

If you read more widely in the political blogosphere, you'd know that this freak RSM is the new darling of the rightwing political blogosphere. He's also a rank bigot, a racist, a white supremacist, and a misogynist.

That's why he's getting coverage. He's emblematic of the collapse of the right wing blogosphere, and by extension the GOP-- in their drive towards 'ideological purity' they're alienating moderates and aligning themselves with racists and every other sort of freak.

He also happens to have a vendetta against Charles and LGF, but don't fool yourself that it's the only reason or the main one why he's getting coverage.
This blog has always done media criticism and meta-analysis of the political scene and called out idiots. Nothing has changed except that currently the worse idiots are on the right.

re: #143 iceweasel

re: #137 SanFranciscoZionist

I've noticed this before with homophobes (who also invariably hate women, btw). They're far more obsessed with gay sex and sex in general than normal people are. They're obsessed with the notion of other people having it. And the so-cons and theocrats in particular are obsessed with the idea that gay male sex is about some frenzied nonstop orgies of nameless, faceless partners.

I really think they oppose the idea of gay marriage because it runs contrary to their need to demonise gay people. Gay people can't fall in love and want to make a commitment like everyone else-- they have to be sexual deviants, paedophiles, immoral.

Similarly, they'll claim things like birth control and women's liberation and feminism are all about women "fucking for fun"-- just like our beloved Mullah Buzzsaw used to claim.

They're obsessed with controlling other people's sexuality, and with the notion that other people are sexually immoral. Their vision of sexuality is far more revealing of what they themselves think of it, as usual.

As I have tried to explain to some of the "brainwashed" people I know. The Average Gay Person is an Average Person--no the ones hanging out on Bourbon Street drawing attention to themselves.

There really is this notion that Gay=Pervert/Unhealthy Sexual Deviant. If they really knew which of their neighbors and co-workers were gay, they'd probably sh!t in their pants.

208 BARACK THE VOTE  Fri, Oct 16, 2009 11:04:54pm

re: #158 Dark_Falcon

There's one other dimension that I see, ice. Many people prefer a strong demarcation between the masculine and feminine. Gayness is something that challenges that demarcation. It's a sliding scale issue, though. Wanting to maintain some distinctions between the two is not the same as hating gays, in my eyes.

Hey DF-- meant to respond to this earlier, sorry. You're right. But it isn't merely sexual orientation that challenges that demarcation, but a host of things that fall under the rubric 'queer' -- anything that challenges gender identity, and even gender roles. Those don't fall along lines that correlate with sexual orientation, either.

At the low end of the scale you have people who feel uneasy with the notion of a female auto mechanic, let's say, or a male nurse. At the other end you have people playing with the whole notion of gender, drag kings and drag queens and more. And a lot of people are very uneasy with all this and fear it somehow threatens traditional gender roles or traditional gender identity for those who embrace those. But it doesn't have to.

There are differences between gender as a social construct and sexual identity and biological identity. Some people are very nervous about these distinctions.

I am still amazed so many people want to defend this sort of behavior, and put their own reputations on the line doing so. It seems like people can't distinguish between "disagreement" and "enemy," and the result of that confusion may be that when something really ugly and nasty comes along that seems to be an ally, they turn on what they disagree with a vengeance.
