Windows 7 Released
You may have heard that Microsoft’s new version of Windows (Windows 7) has been officially released, with features such as Jump Lists, Aero Shake, Snap, new Device Stage Management, as well as new levels of home group network interaction. There’s a lot of talk about it on the PC websites; the consensus seems to be that it’s a solid upgrade with improvements in stability and speed, and very much worth the cost.

Note for Mac users: Apple’s Boot Camp OS emulator doesn’t run Windows 7 yet; Apple says they’ll have an update later this year. But if you can’t wait, the current version of Parallels Desktop and the new version of VMware Fusion (being released October 27) support Windows 7.
