It's only a matter of time until we go all the way with this.
Not really sure how this will work in modern anti-insurgent conflicts, but sometimes strolling down the street in an intimidating machine is all you really need.
Sometimes, though, an axe in hand works just fine:

It's actively calling for the death of someone. That's the sort of shit they do at Hot Air or the Deuce. Do you really want to start down the same road as them?
What part about actively calling for the death of someone specific do you not understand?

I'm not sure that I'll be going. It will be a subset of the set of all of my family members, but there's nothing wrong with watching from one's couch. The TV coverage from multiple camera angles is really excellent, besides, there's always at least one stunningly beautiful woman sitting behind home plate in the front row.
There's an umpire who has an amazingly loud voice. When he calls a strike, it's as loud as somebody standing next to me and shouting into my ear.

It may or may not violate the spirit, but it does violate the letter. Plus, once we start calling for the deaths of our enemies, where do we stop with it? We risk becoming what they are, be it the jihadis or places like Hot Air or the Deuce. It is a road I sure as hell don't want to start down.

Obviously not, however, saying "Go Marines!" is not calling for the death of someone.

Thus, yes, it is apples and oranges. You cannot call for the death of someone. That is what they do at Hot Air and the Deuce. Do you want to be like Hot Air and the Deuce, Shar?
