Heavy fighting is always ugly. Which makes those who wish for it (I'm at you, DinnerJacket, and you too, Hot Air!) utter fools. What is happening Iran is necessary, but it gives me no joy. Good people are getting killed and what makes it bearable is that they are dying for a just and honorable cause.

What is the phrase about freedom being bloody?

It is hard to watch these people fighting and dying for freedom and not get emotional.

These surely don't look faked. Sounds like Persian except for the occaisional "Allah Hu Akbar". I don't think that their idea of fighting for freedom is what we think it is.
