Selling across state lines, as I said, just means they incorporate in the state with the fewest protections for consumers, like the credit cards did.

So it was a "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" situation. We all lied on our time cards and didn't report the overtime we were working. There was no other option.

I found a letter written to a Congressman George Miller in 2007 about aerial wolf hunting from a group trying to stop it. The items listed in the letter are the things I've read about it elsewhere.

A few points:
1. 2004 video footage of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Regional Supervisor stating the Department could not support or justify predator control, and the Board of Game approving it anyway.
2. 2004 video footage of a Board of Game member saying the Governor required sound science to justify predator control, and that they did not have it.
3. Studies conducted for the McGrath Adaptive Management Team proving over hunting was the reason for the alleged lack of moose in McGrath, Alaska, not wolves, but that data was buried and wolf control was implemented.

Ur-Fascism grows up and seeks consensus by exploiting and exacerbating the natural fear of difference. The first appeal of a fascist or prematurely fascist movement is an appeal against the intruders. Thus Ur-Fascism is racist by definition.

Nope. "Fundie" does not equal "Fatalist". In their case, they believe that gave them the courage to act in furtherance of His plan. I would agree in this case. IMO it is in fact God's will that those who serve Him work to save and better the lives of others. I consider that part of living the teaching of Jesus, which all Christians should strive to do.

In their defense, this breed of evangelicals have at least come up with some original interpretations of the Bible. Embracing what Leviticus says about sex between men while ignoring what it says about tattoos and shrimp-eating. Misinterpreting the Latin word "lingua" in Acts to mean that at the Pentecost what was being spoken was gobbledygook (“in tongues”, when “lingua” means “language” in addition to the organ in your month). Coming up with a novel form of doublethink when it comes to Matthew 6:6 and public prayer. And on and on…
