As we noted last Sunday, Rep. John Lewis and Rep. Emanuel Cleaver said tea party protesters screamed the “N” word at them repeatedly as they walked to the Capitol. (They also screamed “faggot” at Barney Frank.)

Now Andrew Breitbart is calling Representatives Lewis and Cleaver liars. He denies any racist slurs were yelled, and says that Lewis and Cleaver are the true racists: 2010: A Race Odyssey — Disproving a Negative for Cash Prizes or, How the Civil Rights Movement Jumped the Shark.

The walk in and of itself — with two of the participants holding their handheld cameras above their heads hoping to document “proof” — was an act of racism meant to create a contrast between the tea party crowd and themselves.

Breitbart seems to believe that because he can’t make out the “N” word in videos of the incident, that “proves” it never happened. He’s convinced Lewis and Cleaver are lying about it, and he’s offering to donate $10,000 to the United Negro College Fund if Lewis can “prove” someone shouted the “N” word at him.

Or Breitbart suggests an alternative: Rep. Lewis can take a lie detector test.

Never? I’m not going to sit around and wait for Black people to get sick and tired of anything and suddenly start voting Republican. What I am doing, and have always done, it support my fellow White people, my own race, because that’s what every other race on Earth does.

Not so long as there is “free stuff” and excuses for underacheivement to be had!
Why bother with hard work and self-responsibility when some group will confer “victim” ststus on you and not expect anything but loyalty at the polls?

Republicans may have freed the slaves, but Dems will always try to make new ones and keep the ones they’ve got.
