Phil Plait points out some incredible super-high resolution photos from the HiRISE camera aboard NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, showing evidence for the presence of liquid water on Mars.
The “gullies” in these images are only a few meters across. (More photos are here.)

There may be no other scientists I respect than Phil..I've been reading badastronomy.com for like forever...You lizards should show up every day to see and read about amazing science..He has also been a leading voice of sanity and science on the Anti-Vaxx movement...

Actually in the Nuclear World there is what is called super saturated steam...It is a state of steam under intense pressure..This is what you drive turbines with..Also this state of steam is completely invisible..You can't see it at all...

My official opinion of this phenomenon is that these
are the tracks of wild,inbred Unicorns!

In an engine room one of the most feared and deadly things is a high pressured steam leak..It is deadly..and invisible..
Of course on a sub fire is really bad..And water..Taking on water on a boat is never a good thing..Scramming a reactor is never good..Once a reactor shuts down you are pretty much in big trouble for hours.. In DryDock it took us about 4 hours to refire the reactor.. I imagine in a war zone with a torpedo coming at you it would be much shorter period of time.. But you are still f*cked.

This isn't common knowledge but when we build the CVN 65 Enterprise It had 4 Nuclear reactors on it.. After a while the Navy shut down 2 of them..Just too much power..It could twist the screws off of any ship.. So it uses just 2 reactors...
