Dumbest Wingnut Post of the Week By Far
Erick Son of Erick has broken a huge, nay, enormous, nay, brobdingnagian story. Forsooth, the master of the great RedState has discovered that while a mere college student, Elena Kagan wrote a thesis that proveth beyond the shadoweth of a doubteth that Kagan is … yes … waiteth for it … a socialist.
Yawn.
This latest idiocy from the wingnutosphere doesn’t even deserve an “Outrageous Outrage of the Day” label. It might deserve an award for dumbest blog post of the year, though. BREAKING: We Have Elena Kagan’s College Thesis.
Kagan’s undergraduate thesis is titled, “To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933,” and it’s a historical study of the failure of socialism in New York in the early part of the 20th century. To Erickson and his dim followers, this is all the proof they need.
Isn’t anyone in the right wing blogosphere embarrassed at Erickson’s stupidity? Isn’t CNN embarrassed at hiring him as a consultant, when he has the intelligence and analytical abilities of a blue soap dish?

And to put the idiot icing on the crazy cake, Erickson posted Kagan’s thesis illegally, violating its copyright, and Princeton sent Redstate.com a letter demanding that it be taken down.
