In the tradition of Will Rogers, Mort Sahl, and The Smothers Brothers, we're getting our best, most accurate, observations from a humorist. (I know he doesn't write it all, but he picks the best and contributes). Thanks, Jon Stewart, for giving us a grip of sanity to weather the morons out there.

While that was awesome, notice some of the best of the clip was when Stewart said nothing. Sometimes less is more. Love it.

Beautiful day here, having lunch, getting in the pool, get ready for the Preakness. Just got back from running errands.
Filled the tank. Normally we go to the Chevron, but it was backed up (almost like the lines from the 70's). Around the corner is the BP station.
Very few cars at the store, we were the only ones getting gas there.
Think there is a link there? Are people NOT going to BP now as a result?

Avoiding gassing it up at BP seems like a pretty normal reaction to me.

Lars Vilks told The Associated Press a man leaped from the front row and head-butted him as he was delivering his lecture at Uppsala University, breaking Vilks' glasses but leaving him uninjured.
Police later said the attacker was stopped before he could reach Vilks and that the artist may have bumped into plain-clothes officers who briskly evacuated him from the room. Three people were detained, but it wasn't immediately clear whether the attacker was among them.
A video clip of the incident by a Swedish newspaper showed police using pepper spray and batons to hold off an angry crowd shouting "God is great" in Arabic after Vilks was escorted out of the lecture hall.

Coaches need firing...First off you have the chosen one..Then one of the biggest men in Basketball in Shaq...It's this easy..How many pick and rolls did you see? I'm telling Shaq to knock somebody the fuck out on a pick and roll with James attacking..After a quarter nobody is going to mess with you...Shaq gave nothing..He is washed up and still wants to play next year...I feel sorry for James..He can't find a soul to set a pick so he can go to the hole....

Shaq was given the ball in the post a number of times with clear outs. Perkins didn't (for the most part) let him muscle his way in like Shaq is used too
Two things then happened. Either Shaq would try to get closer and be called (rightly) for traveling, or Shaq wouldn't be able to get closer and the little flip he would try would be off mark
Give the C's credit whether LeBron was hurt or not. The C's had a great defensive plan for both Shaq and James (in the James case, different defenders at different times. He couldn't isolate one style)

Indeed there is a difference. One relies on asking of others something they may or may not have any interest in. The other relies on free will and a persons own conscious.
I'm not asking nor suggesting anything here, some of the people here already stated that they would avoid BP and I included a list of things that BP supply/own in order to inform.
So again, quite a difference, why the concern?

At what point did I say that, suggest that, or even imply?
All I did is state what other oil based companies are under their umbrella. Because as far as I'm aware THE mishap in THAT division of THEIR entity is in all actuality the cornerstone of their entire operation, minus their solar division, which I give kudos for having the largest in the world.

Glad I'm in solar though, as this makes my technology look even better.

Hey BP, fuck off and go drill someplace else, you're messing with the program and have lost your credibility.
America needs an offshore drilling moratorium until the drilling companies can prove convincingly that they have developed a true failsafe Blowout Preventer and the ability to contain leaks and spill at the depths being drilled.
Right now they get and F-, and the minimum passing grade is A+.
