Gingrich: Obama Should Withdraw Kagan’s Nomination Because Harvard Takes Saudi Money

Politics • Views: 2,836

Here’s Newt Gingrich racing for the bottom on Fox News, saying Obama should withdraw Elena Kagan’s nomination because she’s “anti-military,” then launching an attack on Harvard (where Kagan was dean of the law school), because they accept Saudi money. It’s unclear how this is supposed to be Kagan’s responsibility, but it’s a nice, juicy red meat attack for the tea party base.

On the one hand, Harvard accepts money from Saudis. Saudi Arabia, by the way, executes homosexuals, Saudi Arabia represses women, Saudi Arabia does not allow Christians or Jews to practice their religion, but Saudi money is fine.

This is rich, coming from the spokesperson for a party that wants to take away the right to choose from women, is just as anti-homosexual as Saudi Arabia, and is just as committed to promoting one religion above all others as Saudi Arabia.

Oh, and by the way, one of the owners of Fox News, where Gingrich has been a paid contributor for ten years, is … Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

So guess who else accepts money from Saudi Arabia?
