With any luck, something will stick to him this time about the first murder, at which point I would think he might be extradited back to Aruba after serving his sentence in Peru. Hopefully he’ll do time there, too. But Aruba is Dutch, and we all know how harsh the Dutch are. Not.

re: #98 Bagua

Peruvian prisons are a horrid place to spend 35 years.

Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

They doubt he will survive the prison he will be assigned to.
I was listening to a story about it earlier, but I did not catch the name of the facility. Peru’s worst of the worst… facility wise and inmate wise.

Of course, the international community harangues them about it, similar to the way in which they berate us for allowing states to make their own decisions about the death penalty (within tight parameters).

Wait…oops. My bad. I can’t find much outrage about Peru. Just us.

I was apprehended by the Athens Secret Police once, does that count? I always avoided Turkey for some reason.

I am guessing Reuters is coming for the free Photoshop tutorials.

Naw, nothing to see here, pay no attention to those big pink colored links at the top of the page. All of us here just want to congratulate Reuters on their excellant and unbiased reporting concerning the Israeli response to the bloackade runners, right guys? *crickets*

But they said they were “Fair and balanced” or something like that anyway…*more crickets*

Uhh, Reuters I’m guessing you have earned a place in the dog house for a while again. Sucks to be you, but then again you seem to have earned it by seemingly taking the wrong side here and obscuring the facts.

112 Drogheda  Tue, Jun 8, 2010 6:43:11pm

Charles, has anyone from Reuters sent you hate mail from a work computer yet?

113 Charles Johnson  Tue, Jun 8, 2010 7:26:16pm

Actually, yes … four years ago:

The more you say it the more I expect it to be a show in CBS’s fall lineup.

It’s been done. It was called “Maude”.
