Mosque Vandalized in Hudson, New York

Here’s another anti-Muslim hate crime that Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer and the Bigot Brigade can claim they have nothing to do with — this time on the hallowed ground of Hudson, in upstate New York.

HUDSON — City detectives are searching for the vandals who spray-painted a racial slur on a local mosque and an anti-government obscenity in an alley near the house of worship, according to police.

Hudson Lt. Lynne Finn said the vandalism occurred sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. Wednesday at the Hudson Islamic Center on North 3rd Street. The epithet was left on the rear of the mosque while the anti-government rant was spray painted on a wooden fence in an alleyway adjacent to the mosque at the corner of North 3rd Street and Long Alley, Finn said.

Finn said both were done with red paint.

When there is another Islamist attack on the USA, it's going to be "isolated incidents" 24/7 for a week. I begin to think that there are people pushing to create this sort of atmosphere and rubbing their hands in anticipation of the upcoming bloodbath...

We should withhold judgment, it might have been an angry Imam. Or a liberal.
Probably voted for Barack Obama, too. Let the conservative blogs investigate.

I haven't watched the clip yet but I assume the wingnuts are focusing on the statement I objected to last night about the increase in attacks from foreign extremists if the mosque isn't built. Gen. Petraeus and Obama used the same argument against burning Qurans so I guess it's a common talking point these days.

Because going back to the day when Benjamin Franklin's grandfather had to read his (protestant version) bible with a child posted as lookout so they could hide the bible if necessary, and the day from which "Three Blind Mice" comes from, is just a really good idea.
