Perfect. Loved poor Cenk getting stiffed in the same breath as he's making his point. That clip ALONE tells it all.
It would be Silly Season comedy if it wasn't reality.

Thanks Jon.
Now I'm going to internally edit every deranged statement by a nutball rightwinger who

Should I put the crunchy sprinkles on the cupcakes or the sparkly ones? The last time I did sparkly, I ended up in the kitchen staring at them for five minutes at a time.

It takes some rather egregious willful misrepresentation to portray Rauf's words on the subject as a threat.

Egregious willful misrepresentation is what Fox does best.

That segment of John's show just might taken the top position on my favorite's list of his shows!
LOL - Squirrel, indeed!
I'll have to watch it again - there was too much good material that I probably missed some!

It's the John Birch Society conspiracy mentality manifested. Everything that someone they don't like either says or does contains some sort of overt (or even worse, implied) nefarious threat.

Squirrel!
Jon Stewart had my wife slapping the couch with laughter last night...one of his best efforts yet, IMO.

Great segment by Jon Stewart. As for Fox News all I can say is: oh, my, god. To think that people are sitting around the house all day being bombarded and brainwashed by the Fox News talking heads. 24 hours hours a day. 7 days a week. It's no wonder there can be no reasonable dialogue with the Park 51 opponents. Then to see the reaction from the like of Rudy Giuliani.

Oh, come on. Don't overstate things. Five days a week they take a three hour break to listen to the radio.

In my country conservatives also are going nuts, and paranoid.
Maybe it is universal trend? Wingnuts = paranoia? I bet: yes, it is.

I can't believe they're having the gall to interpret that as a 'threat'. For the last nine years, every wingnut (and some mainstream Republican) temper-tantrum has ended with 'and if we don't do it like this, the terrorists will kill more Americans here and abroad and it'll be your fault'.

Its okay to be Sharia/jihadphobic, its not okay to project those fears onto a moderate Muslim who has no part in what you fear.

According to the Prime Minister of Turkey, there is no such thing as moderate Islam. There are only Moslems who don't fully practice their religion. Although the recent election in Turkey, indicates that moderation is in the eye of the beholder.
