Rabid rabbits all over the state of Georgia are observing a moment of prayer. /

Get well President Carter.

Prayers for President Carter and his family.

Hope this isn't something too serious and that he recovers quickly.

I hope he's OK.

Oh boy, I can just imagine how the stalkers are going to react to this.

Thoughts and prayers go out to President Carter and his family.

Our best wishes to the President for a rapid recovery.

You don't have to agree with his politics to desire this.
I only wish misfortune on the genuinely evil,
not those who I consider to be merely misguided.

Best wishes to President Carter. No matter how I dislike some of his stances on issues like Israel, that doesn't take away the fact that he is a decent human being, especially for his Habitat for Humanity Work. Hope he comes through this fine and is able to build more houses.

Hope he gets well. But yeah I am sure there will be a lot of nastiness directed his way. Not a fan of his either truthfully but he's still a former president and someone's husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Don't worry about the clueless or the classless. They will reveal themselves for who they are. All we can do is continue to stay classy when others face trials, regardless of how we agree/disagree with their politics.

There's something especially bad about gloating over someone's health problems. I remember the Palestinians in Gaza celebrating with a parade and candy when Ariel Sharon had a stroke.

Just sick.

I blame airline food, yck!

I am no fan of his particularly, but I am a fan of the human race. He has done many things to comfort others.

I hope you will be well Mr. President.

re: #13 Johnny2Times There was the time my kid didn't put the leftovers in the fridge after being asked. He have himself a mild case of food poisoning. I gloated just a wee bit as he puked his lunch up.

They also similarly celebrated on 9-11.
'Sickening' didn't begin to cover my feelings on seeing that spectacle.

They just celebrated recently when Hamas terrorists murdered a 9-months pregnant woman.

Jeez he can't shake the peanut thing even at age 85, can he?

Nope. He was 20 years old. I asked him to refrigerate his leftovers. He neglected to do so. The next day he chose to eat it. He threw it up.

I experienced shadenfreude.

He experienced no long term harm at all. (If he was really bad off I would have sought medical care).

So far I've successfully raised 7 children to the respective ages of 21 through 11 and barring some inherited health conditions they are all quite healthy and well balanced. I look foward to your further judgements of my parenting acumen based on a single offhand blog comment.

When your campaign produces buttons of you as a peanut with a grin you pretty much have to live with it the rest of your life.

Do you wear tank top t-shirts? If so, adding this bit of information to the very troubling information above regarding your child, I can easily deduce that you are a terrible parent.

I am one of President Carter's harshest critics regarding his time as President, but I approve of this message (and #7 and #8). I do not wish him physical or mental ills.

There's one thing to be wishful of his death. It's another to mourn his passing. He has a legacy that is wicked and hurtful and will last much longer than his 90 some odd years on this planet. And I am one that will not mourn his passing.

Jimmy Carter, like Obama, will eventually have to answer to a higher grade level for their actions. In the meantime, I wish Carter will not have to suffer pain and conflict like that he caused around the world in recent years. Get well Jimmy.

32 tradewind  Tue, Sep 28, 2010 12:37:28pm

Glad it wasn't serious, and since it appears he'll be okay, I don't feel bad asking why Carter's aides didn't request the plane divert to Havana, where the health care, according to Carter, is superior.//

So only Carter and Obama will have to answer to the Spaghetti Monster?

Here in Cincinnati, I always found it amusing that whenever the late Marge Schott (Reds owner and noted anti-Semite) got sick, the EMTs always took her to the nearest hospital--Jewish Hospital.

To her credit, Marge always praised the care she got there. I guess she loathed Jews generally but not specifically.
