Damn robots are shooting the bows and arrows that God fearing Americans should be shooting for themselves.

When do we get cool terminators that look like Summer Glau?

I though the guys here would like that.. ;)

What the hell are these scientists doing, allowing robots to teach themselves to use weapons? Are they nuts?!

Or are they … evil?

The application for this is unlikely autonomous war droids, but rather auto targeting guns for anti air and missile defenses.

Target correction can be used for a multitude of applications, even identifying and gathering resources.

Don’t know how many of you all read cracked. I do since their lists are always good for a chuckle but they had a list today of six iconic jobs that will become obslete. Quite a few of those jobs may become so due to technology. We live in such extrodinary times really. I just look at how computers have changed to see that. It’s amazing really.

Now we can find out how that PC Vs. Mac thing might really go…

Windows platforms account for roughly 90% of the OSs used in the world today.

Quantity has a quality all its own.

The robots should stick to stealing old people’s medicine. What, with their feather war bonnets, you can see them coming a mile away.

Stealth fail. Lose the hats.

You know, on further consideration, accepting a pill from strangers who you met at a rave and have kidnapped you at gun point seems really stupid.

So far, they have:

Dynamic stability during locomotion:

High-speed manual dexterity with visual tracking system:

Extreme, unnecessary creepiness:

And of course, the ability to use biomass as a fuel source.

So, not only will we eventually build Terminators, once they figure out how to redesign themselves, they’ll be able to eat the corpses they leave on the battlefield. Efficient!

Its OK as long as the robot has a 3-laws brain.
