Christine O’Donnell’s Super Secret Classified Chinese Takeover Plot

Wingnuts • Views: 6,743

In a 2006 Delaware Senate primary debate, anti-wanking Republican candidate Christine O’Donnell boasted that she was “privy to” secret classified information about a Chinese plot to take over the United States.

WASHINGTON — Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell of Delaware said in a 2006 debate that China was plotting to take over America and claimed to have classified information about the country that she couldn’t divulge. …

She said China had a “carefully thought out and strategic plan to take over America” and accused one opponent of appeasement for suggesting that the two countries were economically dependent and should find a way to be allies.

“That doesn’t work,” she said. “There’s much I want to say. I wish I wasn’t privy to some of the classified information that I am privy to.”

“A country that forces women to have abortions and mandates that you can only have one child and will not allow you the freedom to read the Bible, you think they can be our friend?” she asked. “We have to look at our history and realize that if they pretend to be our friend it’s because they’ve got something up their sleeve.”

When challenged on her claim to have secret information, O’Donnell said she learned it from “nonprofit groups” who sent missionaries to China.

Oh brother. I think it might be time to create a “GOP Fear Mongering” category for LGF articles.

Secret information is the coolest.

Sorry, can't share it, because then it won't be a secret anymore.

well if they masturbated more they might not be so over-populated, thus stopping masturbation is right out. But if she could make everyone stop having sex...

A secret communist takeover plot exposed by missionaries? Why does that sound familiar?
Oh, yeah: John Birch Society

The society was established in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 9, 1958, by a group of 12 led by Robert Welch, Jr., a retired candy manufacturer from Belmont, Massachusetts. Welch named the new organization after John Birch, an American Baptist missionary and U.S. military intelligence officer who was killed by communist forces in China in August 1945, shortly after the conclusion of World War II. Welch claimed that Birch was an unknown but dedicated anti-communist,[4] and the first American casualty, Welch contended, of the Cold War.
....
According to Welch, "both the U.S. and Soviet governments are controlled by the same furtive conspiratorial cabal of internationalists, greedy bankers, and corrupt politicians. If left unexposed, the traitors inside the U.S. government would betray the country's sovereignty to the United Nations for a collectivist New World Order, managed by a 'one-world socialist government.'

"I wish I wasn’t privy to some of the classified information that I am privy to.”

Important to note that O'Donnell is using the definition that means "place to perform one's bodily evacuations."

So, Newt Gingrich who I know supports Christine but also was on record of saying we should emulate China's economic policies. I wonder what Newt thinks of this. Seriously, I am no fan of the Chinese government either but O'Donnell is a frigging head case.

14 Brother Holy Cruise Missile of Mild Acceptance  Mon, Oct 4, 2010 3:04:44pm

the chinese plan to take over the U.S. through a program that includes mandatory masturbation and gay sex which will lower the birthrate of the U.S. and thus allow the chinese to overwhelm us with sheer numbers. Only Christine O'Donnell has a handle on the situation and only she can prevent this travesty. In november quit pulling your member and pull the lever for Christine O'Donnell.

1. Made a participant in knowledge of something private or secret: was privy to classified information.
2. Belonging or proper to a person, such as the British sovereign, in a private rather than official capacity.
3. Secret; concealed.

48 Gus  Mon, Oct 4, 2010 3:33:53pm

From Wonkette:

TPM reports on the AP’s report on something somebody dug up from four years ago:

She said China had a “carefully thought out and strategic plan to take over America” and accused one opponent of appeasement for suggesting that the two countries were economically dependent and should find a way to be allies.

“That doesn’t work,” she said. “There’s much I want to say. I wish I wasn’t privy to some of the classified information that I am privy to.”

And where did she get this hot stuff? Basically, from the Bible. When her primary opponent — a Chinese-American professor named Jan Ting — challenged her on this asinine claim, O’Donnell said she got the spy papers from “non profit groups” who send missionaries to China. So, if this very reasonable story is to be trusted, Christine O’Donnell learned from a church group in Delaware of secret plans by Beijing to invade the United States.

Consider the trajectory of Singapore. Founded around 1820, the city grew around cohorts of European, Indian, Arab, Malay, and Chinese immigrants.

wikipedia describes the Singapore town plan of 1822.

Now, according to the CIA world factbook, Singapore is 77% ethnic Chinese. There was never any plan, never any violence. It just worked out that way.

Talk of secret plans etc. is silly. That's not the way things work. China is thriving and war and conquest is no part of the recipe.

Militant Israeli settlers burn mosque near Bethlehem

A mosque in the Palestinian village of Beit Fajar, just south of Bethlehem, became the fourth in the last two years to be the target of an arson attempt, according to human rights workers. The attack is believed to be part of a campaign by vigilante settlers to ignite violence by attacking Muslim holy sites.

"Whoever did this is a terrorist in every sense of the word, and intended to hurt the chances for peace and dialogue with the Palestinians,'' said Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak in a statement. "This was a shameful act that besmirched the State of Israel and its value."

Perpetrators of previous attacks against mosques have left behind in Hebrew graffiti the words "price tag," referring to a policy of using violence against Palestinians and Israeli security forces in retaliation for outpost evacuations and militant attacks on settlers.

It's almost as I say like a contest. So who wants to say the most stupid thing possible? Speaking of Palin, I was real surprised given that she and Limbaugh seem to be of like minds that he would appear on Family Guy like he did last night. Turns out that he's done it twice since he appeared as himself in one of the Star Wars spoofs.

More O'Donnell fun!

It Has Come To This: O'Donnell Family Straightens Out Father's Bozo The Clown Career

"Who told you I was Bozo?" he wanted to know.

"Your son," I said, at which point he confirmed that yes, he was Bozo, but not an official, full-time certified Bozo, more of a part-time Bozo.

"To be an official Bozo, you had to go to a special school in Texas," explained Mr. O'Donnell. He never did. Instead, he was asked to fill-in for the official Bozos whenever they would have to travel out of the Philadelphia area for acting gigs.

"They would leave, I would come in and work for two or three weeks, whatever, until the regular Bozo came back," Mr. O'Donnell said. "I was the fill-in Bozo."

Looks like she's keeping up the family tradition.

I'm trying to figure out why he left out sexually active unmarried heterosexual men. It's apparently OK for them to have sex. The problem, though, is he wants to prevent gay men and unmarried women from having sex, so who, exactly, is it that the unmarried heterosexual men will be able to have sex with?

It is rather odd isn't it. Back in "the old days" a sexually active woman was frequently pathologized. Sexually active men on the other hand were seen as normal to a greater extent. My only guess would be that Demint place a greater emphasis on women because they can bear children. Although it could be sexual regression on Demint's part.

re: #42 tradewind

Whatever happened to that show, anyway?

IIRC, the original Point/Counterpoint on 60 Minutes was successful because the liberal and conservative participants were intelligent, civil, respectful, equally matched, and well-spoken. When Nicholas von Hoffmann, the then-current liberal, left the show, CBS replaced him with Shana Alexander, who not only was no match for conservative James J. Kilpatrick but was shrill and took everything personally. CBS pulled the plug because the format no longer worked and because the liberal was getting her a** handed to her every week.

Alexander became the model for Dan Aykroyd's "Jane, you ignorant slut", as sattv4u2 mentioned.

Charles, it's actually time to start a "Liars" category. Christine O'Donnell is a liar. Those 5 words need to be repeated in every article about her. She lies. and lies, and lies. She lies about never lying. She lies about being a witch, or maybe she's lying about not being one - but to her truth is just what sounds true at teh moment she says it.

Christine O'Donnell is a liar. This is the basic fact that needs to be permanently attached to articles about her.

158 Kobyashi Maru  Fri, Oct 8, 2010 12:49:38pm

Truth be told aren't we willingly jumping into this "plot" thanks to gutless politicians negotiating "free trade" deals where they externalize all of their costs like pollution, health care, consumer protection, etc., and allowing them to over value their currency by double?
