If only his viewers would follow Beck's advice to fact check his rants, the problem would be over. He knows they won't, so he goes further off the rails every week. Lies, become truth, swallowed by the gullible looking to reinforce their mindset.

Glenn Beck plays with his poop.

Glenn beck is still sticking with the missile launch conspiracy.

Beck theory: China launched missile to intimidate U.S., "what they're telling you on television is bull crap"

The media is covering up the truth! Conspiracy!

4 elizajane  Fri, Nov 19, 2010 10:10:37am

Wait, it was a joke?

And there he had me believing that George Soros had surgically inserted a remote control device up Glenn Beck's *ss to make Beck spout nonsense so far off the lunatic fringe that Fox "News" would be completely discredited.

It seemed plausible to me. It explained so much!

Except that the Chinese have failed miserably in that no one cares.
That's the problem with these super-secret plots. They're so secret that they fail to intimidate./

Yeah, I thought the wheel's would have come off by now. He keeps getting nuttier and his audience still follows him. It's going to be very interesting to see how this all ends but it has to end at some point. I have a hard time imaging that conservatives are going to be stuck like this forever.

I suspect a lot of viewers don't take this seriously, Its just snarky entertainment attacking people they don't like. The problem is that the fringe will, in fact, believe it.

It's already happened. Take for instance up here in the Rocky Mountains. All of us conservative have already gone on the gold standard and burned all our greenbacks. I purchased a crate of eggs yesterdays with 2 grams of flour gold I panned out of Clear Creek.

We have instigated Soros patrols, around the perimeter of Conifer, carefully checking the ID's of anyone entering or leaving the town of Conifer. We know for sure that Soros has been trying to place his "agents" into our everyday activities up here. We're too clever for him.

And at the beer hall the other night, we had a meeting, and decided that the Tea Party people up here are not Nazi enough for us, so we are banning them from the community.

And we closed the public library and opened 4 John Birch reading rooms. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is selling like hot cakes.

Yep, it's already started, right under you nose, and it's snowballing your way.

Boo.

Which one? Mainstream fundamental Christianity has tow version, pre-millennial and post-millennial version, neither which has started yet. Jehovah's Witnesses believes the 1000 year reign has already started, from heaven, in 1918 and Armageddon is still a future event. Groups like the Millerites and the Campbellites from the early 1800's predicted the reign would start around 1834, of course, they died out (although some of their thinking passed on to the Aventists and Jehovah's Witnesses and other small millennial groups.)

So, there is not one answer to your question.

3 weeks ago, they were the darling children of the Tea Party.

Today, not so much

Rick Santorum: Sharron Angle & Christine O’Donnell ‘Not Really Who The Tea Party Is’

Rick Santorum, a former GOP senator possibly eyeing a 2012 presidential run from his perch in the Ethics and Public Policy Center, an aviary for conservative social and international issues, spoke recently about the Tea Party’s image and how he believed it had been tainted by some of the movement’s most famous figures.

Candidates such as Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell and Joe Miller — all unsuccessful — were not the true embodiment of the Tea Party, Santorum said in a recent interview with conservative blog Red State. That title goes to people like Ron Johnson, Wisconsin’s newest senator, Santorum argued.

Here’s a transcript of the Red State interview via GOP 12:

“The national media took some candidates who were — in my opinion — yes, they were tea party in the sense that the tea party embraced them and that they shared the principles of the tea party, but that really the best example of a tea party candidate was [Wisconsin Senator-elect] Ron Johnson, who actually got involved because of a tea party.

….. and the other candidates that became the face of the tea party, yes, they embraced the principles of the tea party, but, you know, Sharron Angle and Christine O’Donnell, and even Joe Miller — they were all active in politics before…. but they weren’t really who the tea party is.

That was the first time I eve saw the actual Glenn Beck puppet rant.

Why does no one else notice how pretty much everything in it is straight out of Protocols of the Elders of Zion?

Let's see:

1. Jewish billionaire as villain.
2. Has evil and alien morals
3. Infiltrates and corrupts target country from behind the scenes
4. Corrupts morals (in this case, through media empire)
5. Destabilizes nations
6. Infiltrates and corrupts target country
7. Is targeting here next.

For crying out loud! You do not get more Nazi than this.

Even the puppet strings are straight out of Protocols. Granted, Protocols was written by a Russian, but the Nazis sure ran with it.

Look at this actual Nazi propaganda link.

[Link: www.holocaust-history.org...]

Then there is the giant irony of it all. While calling others Nazis, in so many ways, Fox is the Das Strummer of a new Nazi movement.

Get it straight. These are actual motherfucking Nazis at Fox who cloud themselves by calling everything else a Nazi. It is the perfect smoke screen.

George Carlin: Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man, living in the sky who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of 10 things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these 10 things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever till the end of time... But he *loves you*.

I gotta agree with Ludwig, I worry about where Beck turns next. Beck has a specific paranoid worldview, and we've seen a glimpse of it. We know he reads the old-timer classics of the hard Right (cf. the Dilling incident, Benson etc.).

Since he shuffles through the old lit, he cannot but read the antisemitic items here and there. Some of them even scholarly looking, with citations and whatnot. Since Beck is so proud of being un-PC, since his thought processes are so simplistic and he sees "connections" everywhere, and since such sources would fit perfectly into his worldview, isn't it very probable that he is a closet antisemite by now? At least when it comes to "liberal Jews". If he is, maybe he keeps silent on this topic because he knows he will be a toast. But he can poison the well little by little, like with this classic anti-Soros screed.

According to Beck the Velvet, Orange, and Rose Revolution are a bad thing? The Velvet Revolution was an anti-communist movement and led to the collapse of the Communist Party in Czechoslovakia.

The Orange Revolution in the Ukraine was in response to rampant election fraud in 2004. The Open Society Institute was involved but so was the International Republican Institute which is chaired by John McCain and is a conservative organization in the USA.

The Rose Revolution in Georgia led to ouster of former Soviet puppet Eduard Shevardnadze who led Georgia as a member of the Union of Citizens of Georgia which was formerly a part of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

EXACTLY. Russian ultra-patriots always say that the latter two are "American" revolutions (always condemning them). I had a distinct impression these revolutions were supported by the American public. Although, to put it kindly, the results of the revolutions are mixed, I am very surprised that someone on the "mainstream" American right breaks the support narrative. I would perhaps expect someone like Buchanan to say this. It's more in line with Napolitano condemning Bush.
