At least you stayed away from that issue this time, but you continue to attack it as the car only a tree hugging, Obama-supporting Government Motors customer would want. As radio loudmouths like you would note, none of those potential customers were to be found after November 2.

It comes from driving and testing virtually every new car sold, and from doing this once a year with all the all-new or significantly improved models all at the same time. I went to Cabo a few winters back. A couple of nights we hung out on the patio in the evenings if we didn’t feel like going out for food. The entertainment was this little mexican dude, a guy playing keyboard, and what I guess was a karaoke machine. Little dude sang great mexican classics all night, but once each night he shifted gears and sang - Wonderful World. And he nailed it. Craziest thing.. skinny little guy, not a lick of english, busting out that raspy classic.

in 1925 louis was playing cornet with the fletcher henderson orchestra in nyc. louis says that he asked henderson if he could sing, but fletch said “who would want to listen to that stovepipe voice?”

I’ve got a few very good people on my team, three of whom I was involved in hiring myself when I was still unofficially the manager. I prefer to enable and support them and keep them happy, and have them see me as, yes, someone they report to, but also someone they can trust to come to when they have issues. Three of them I’m okay with losing eventually, should the need arise. Two because they don’t get shit done (they’re young, which isn’t a crime, but they’re also lazy), and one who actively campaigned to keep me from moving up because he wanted the job (fortunately, I’m lucky to have a boss who was willing to keep me abreast of his efforts when this happened). Trust level is set to zero in that case. The other two are rock-stars, and I’ll fight to the death to keep them on my team.

We had a trick play in the 7th and 8th grade that always worked (pre video cameras). We’d send in a sub, take out a player, send in another sub, and have the wide receiver run to the sideline to talk to the coach (but stay in the field). Then we’d get set to call the play, and the other team would notice we were a man short, but thought we were just screwing up. When the play was called, the QB would throw to the WR by the coach, and he’d run down the sideline undefended.

NATO agrees on missile defense shield
Gathered at a summit in Lisbon, leaders of the 28 North Atlantic Treaty Organization states formally committed to a system aimed at protecting the United States and Europe from attack, and offered Russia a chance to collaborate in planning and operations. NATO leaders, who expect Russia to react positively, hope the agreement will lead to cooperation in areas where they could benefit from Moscow’s help, including the war in Afghanistan, nuclear nonproliferation and the standoff with Iran.
President Obama told reporters the administration looked forward to working with the Russians “to build our cooperation with them in this area as well, recognizing that we share many of the same threats.”

my boys had a play called the button hook…wide out right, and Nick was in the slot…pull the rt guard and toss a quick pass to the wide out, roll Nick out behind him like a screen, but Nick blazes by him as the LBs bite and takes a backwards toss full stride…he scored at homecoming on that play, 70 yrds but it was call back for holding…same play, only for 80yrds…some DB caught Nick in right front of the endzone, but he bulled his way in….good times, my boy was a serious player, all conference safety…he could stop a Mack truck or cover downfield…Mr Everything

OK well the Russians help Iran with nukes, and then allow us to pay for a system to defend them from Iranian incoming while talking arms reduction with us… it is a puzzelment.

Sneaky…I’m surprised they didn’t throw a penalty for the WR not being in formation.
