Fox Business Anchor Andrew Napolitano is a 9/11 Truther

Wingnuts • Views: 22,865

LGF reader Killgore Trout subjects himself to videos of the Alex Jones conspiracy freakshow so you don’t have to, and yesterday he posted the latest episode — in which Fox News host (and extreme right wing whackjob) Andrew Napolitano came out and admitted he’s a 9/11 Truther.

Media Matters

The link between Fox News and the dangerously insane conspiracy theories of Alex Jones has become completely uncontroversial. Mainstream bad craziness, brought to you by Fox News.

Seriously. This complete about-face on the part of so much of the screaming wingnuts is just fucking baffling. We go from 9/11 being the defining moment in the war on terror to 9/11 being a government conspiracy; shouldn't they get whiplash from that?

re: #14 Killgore Trout

Beck spoke out today in defense of Napolitano...
Beck praises Fox colleague Napolitano: "In the end, he's turned out to be right on almost everything"

Which of course means that Napolitano is also right about Abe Lincoln being a genocidal tyrant and the government killing its own people on 9/11.

What a bunch of assholes. Seriously.

23 lawhawk  Wed, Nov 24, 2010 10:41:41am

There are few things that get under my skin, but trooferism is one (having been in Lower Manhattan on 9/11 and walking through the dust cloud later that day to get out of Manhattan). Napolitano is a frakking ass who is an ignorant slut - and is more than willing to shill for conspiracy theorists in pursuit of his own agenda.

I'd say that Fox News should be ashamed to associate with this nonsense, but they feel no shame. We're now in a situation where Fox has no problem being on the same page as prison planet and the loose change nuts.

These assholes disrespect the memories of the nearly 3,000 people who were murdered on 9/11 and do so in pursuit of a political agenda that does not comport with reality - or the facts.

Fuck him - and those who continue to ignore this nonsense on the air.

I get the feeling it was a general statement of support. He probably didn't specifically mention the 9-11 truth thing but it's probably not a coincidence that his statement comes the day after Napolitano come out of the closet. I also think timing this on a holiday was intentional. Most people are busy with other things and the media is distracted.

I'm sure Limbaugh would blame those deaths on the Indians and their own weak addictive natures.

In fact, if you look at what Limbaugh HAS said about Indians over the years.

Yes. Well.

Yeah. According to Rush the white man takes "personal responsibility" as opposed to the Indians. Funny, I thought not smoking was part of taking personal responsibility for oneself. The GOP and Fox are too stupid and too ignorant of history to understand that the forces they think they have been so cleverly wielding are now in fact wielding them.

you can't control populist rage with propaganda indefinitely. If stoked enough, it consumes everything, especially the people inciting the rage. This is almost universally true throughout history. This is a kind of fire that nearly always consumes the ones who ignite it, along with everything else.
