A 19-year old naturalized US citizen born in Somalia has been arrested in Oregon, in a plot to blow up a car bomb at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
But he was never even close to actually carrying out the plot; the FBI has been on to him for more than a year, and the “car bomb” was stocked with mock explosives. I wonder how the right wing blogs will turn this into a defeat for the Obama administration?
