NPR’s Fresh Air had a piece on the death of veteran US diplomat Richard Holbrooke yesterday, with an audio clip from 1998 featuring Holbrooke talking about his 13-hour negotiation with genocidal Serbian war criminals Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic.

Holbrooke said it was the only time in his life that he felt the presence of “evil incarnate.” It’s an interesting listen:

It should be noted that one of the loudest voices currently defending these murderous monsters in the United States is none other than Pamela “Shrieking Harpy” Geller, who has posted dozens of articles whitewashing their crimes, often sourced from known far right Serbian apologists.

Geller’s support for these vicious killers only makes sense if you remember that most of the victims of Milosevic, Mladic, and Karadzic were … Muslims.
