They are as adorable when small as they are deadly when large. Knut comes to mind.

2:08 to the end is my favorite part. Mom is so patient.

Now if you are a Republican that’s fine. You and I probably don’t have much in common if you can still support the GOP in its current form, but it is what it is. However if you are a Democrat or consider yourself a Liberal or Progressive and actually give a shit about people having a social safety net, care about getting the tax code back where it should be, care about the environment and green jobs, care about the rule of law, care about education then you need to look in the fucking mirror and ask yourself if whatever disappointment you feel right now will justify handing the country over to the same neanderthals whom have already fired the first warning shots in the culture wars they plan on fighting to their last breath?

Updinged. The US far left (and this is coming from someone who would be considered pretty far left on the American spectrum) needs to remember that politics is the art of the possible. The US is a centre-right country in comparision to most of the Western World, and change happens slowly.

I'm considered pretty far left too, but gah, I hope I'm reasonable. Sometimes I think it's for the fundraising and page views. Just like Limbaugh et al.

But again, a democracy expects all views, extreme etc.

I'm a learning a lot.

Yeah I didn’t get my pony, unicorn, and rainbow either but anybody who still believes there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats after all of the shit that has gone down just in the last 3 months is a fucking idiot.

Yeah, I'm getting a might tired of this "Wah! Obama's not all he promised! I'm not gonna support him!" BS. If you expected the man to fart rainbows out of his ass, then you're obviously new to politics. No campaign promises lasts past contact with the realities of office. Considering the alternative, I will gladly hold my nose and pull the lever for him in '12.

I get the distinct feeling alot of these loonier progressives haven't heard the line from Napoleon saying:

People on the far end of either side of the political spectrum tend to be uninterested in practical considerations, preferring instead to focus on ideological purity. They are perhaps the biggest obstacle that political compromises must clear, and the fact that they vote in primaries (which most moderates do not do) means that they have clout that exceeds their numbers.
