The Christian Coalition Never Left
The Republican Party is preparing to bow before the true power in the conservative movement: the religious right. Next month, the Faith and Freedom Conference and Strategy Briefing hosted by the long-discredited Ralph Reed will feature many of the GOP’s probable candidates, pandering like crazy to the creationists and fanatics.
And among them will be Mormon, non-creationist Mitt Romney.
I say “non-creationist” because he’s on record opposing the teaching of creationism in science classes, unlike every other Republican candidate. But he still has time to flip flop on this too.
