As a guitar player I certainly appreciate the skill involved, but, I've never been able to listen to instrumental guitar work like this other than the odd piece here and there. I think for a couple of reasons:

1. You can't sing along.
2. It reminds me that I'll never be that good.

Either we just got bombed or that was the most incredible multiple report lightning strike I have ever heard! Multiple flashes. Multiple ka-booms.

Hmm...Obama's across the river tonight.

Stand by...

i don't know. I think part of hte beauty of some instrumental music is you kind of make your own out of it. I've gotten into Django Reinhardt lately and I really enjoy his instrumental guitar work. Makes me imagine that I am in a bar in 1940's Europe somewhere.

The President brought it. Got any lepers?

That was an enjoyable piece. I've really gotten in to instrumental music as a whole lately since it's perfect studying/writing music since I don't get distracted by lyrics.

Gosh! I'm still waiting! Other stuff loads quick. Is it just me?

Lepers? No. Armadillos? Scads. One lives under my wife's studio/laundry room/guest house out back.

Rt 84 has about 1 dead one per hundred yards during the hot weather. Wouldn't want to hit one with a motorcycle.

I guy I work with is in some kind of "big band" type of band. He plays the guitar. He told me I should search YouTube for Django Reinhardt and I forgot all about it until you just mentioned it, so thanks for that!

I like Explosions in the Sky, does that count?

I'd like to think there's a Clapton bottled up inside me. I've been playing since I was like 12 and he hasn't shown himself yet.
