DERPAll over the Internet, wingnut bloggers are frothing with rage over the bogus Anthony Weiner story, but one nitwit outdoes them all when it comes to nasty stupidity.

And that nitwit is, of course, Jim “Dim” Hoft, who manages to misspell a two-syllable word in his headline: Gennette Was Not Alone… Weiner’s Twitter Friends Include Pages of Young Lucious [sic] Fans | The Gateway Pundit.

Hoft has posted eight photos of women he claims Rep. Weiner is following on Twitter, along with their names; he’s calling out the right wing attack dogs to harass them.

Gennette Nicole was not alone.

On Friday far left Rep. Anthony Weiner said his twitter and Facebook accounts were hacked. He said this after a picture of his penis was reportedly sent out to a young woman in Seattle.
Here’s her picture.

Gennette was not the only young attractive woman who made it on Rep. Weiner’s select list.
More than 45,000 people followed Rep. Anthony Weiner on twitter. He followed only 198.

I posted in the thread downstairs on a much better DKos article that delineates the entire time-line of this whole smear, including tweets by Dan Wolfe (aka "patriotusa76") who it turns out appears to have been stalking Genette Cordova since around May 11, when she started following Rep. Weiner on Twitter.
It also has the initial forensic work on the photo posted to the yfrog account, and shows evidence of there being manipulation done to the picture.

Cordova is the student who supposedly was sent the Rep. Weiner photo- and who never saw the picture because it was scrubbed by Twitter before she had a chance to view it. Of course, to Brietbart, this means that she was having an affair with the congressman - never mind the fact that she has never met him, in fact has never been to either New York or Washington DC.

I know that yfrog probably doesn't publicize this, but I'd be very interested in seeing the IP logs of the uploaded photo in question. I think it is a very safe bet that it will be revealed that it wasn't uploaded from any machine in Rep. Weiner's posession (including the one he was tweeting from at the time when the photo was supposedly forwarded). I'd also bet that it won't backtrace to any machines on Brietbart's domains - he isn't THAT stupid. However, all bets are off for Mr. Wolfe.

My guess is Breitbart or one of his employees (Dianna Loesch) helped Wolfe is some way. Maybe introducing him to a 3rd party with the expertise to hack the account (or something along those lines). I kind of doubt Wolfe is willing to take the fall so we'll see what he does when the heat turns up.

The DKos article I linked to upthread had a link to that site, where they had done some of the preliminary forensics. The explanation was a bit over my head because my image manipulation expertise doesn't go very far past MS-Paint.

It would be a trivial matter to produce a screenshot that didn't need to be photoshopped at all, and appeared to be from "RepWeiner". You can edit the HTML code for the page with Safari's (or Chrome's) web inspector, and it would be totally indistinguishable from a screenshot of a real page.
