I just want to mention again that it’s so obvious that it was a Gotcha! question, wasn’t it? The lamestream media really is out to get me. They’re such a sneaky bunch of liberals, aren’t they?

You know, sometimes I remember that I have to be more careful when I’m being stalked by them, kinda like the way wolves stalk me when I’m out hunting in Alass-ka and enjoy God’s white earth, because I might say stuff they think I’ll regret when it really was the truth all along, wasn’t it? That’s the way it is with them!
But, I’ll refudiate their claims every time because I really do know my American history about how these great countries started and created a modern day America under the flag and under the Bible, which is what the foundational founders always wanted.
Anyway, I am so happy that so many people agree with me and that history was even re-written to finally include the truth about how Paul Revere rode for our second amendment rights and for fighting the British which we should never forget we did or continue doing until this day! Because we all know that Kenya was a British place, don’t we?

Paul Revere rode from Boston to Lexington to warn colonial leaders that British forces had set out to arrest them. He was met there by William Dawes and Dr. Samuel Prescott, who had rode to Lexington via different routes. They then on their own, chose to ride on to Concord to, where a large store of arms and powder were hidden, to warn the residents there. They were captured by a British patrol while making their way to Concord. Their mission was to warn the colonist, not the British. Bells ringing or not there was no 2nd Amendment for Revere to protest to the British about at the time, since the Constitution had not been written. English law permitted the keeping of arms for hunting and self defense (Declaration of Rights (1689 amended version)) but with the language of “as allowed by law” embedded within, which indicated that that which Parliament giveth, Parliament can take away. The Declaration of Rights permitted the possession of arms for hunting and self defense, but did not allow the stock piling of weapons for private militias. This is what the British were marching from Boston to Concord to confiscate, not individual weapons. And maybe the bells.

I just got done reading the Apple release for iOS 5 and iCloud and I don’t think anyone expected something this good!
No more need for owning a computer to own/run an iPad! 5 Gigs free on iCloud and you don’t even get counted on your purchased apps, books, songs or photo stream, which is also new…. *wow*….
Multi-windows, gestures, tabbed browsing, notifications. I’m honestly stunned. This is a total game changer for Google and Amazon. This also brings the iPad fully into the realm of total independence from having a laptop or desktop if that is all you want.
I know this is a totally geeky thing to say and to rave about but: wow! I’m blown away (and I have an Android phone, an iPad, and a beautiful brand new MacBook Pro and use Gmail all the time so I like all systems - including Amazon of course)…. I think Apple just surprised everyone and really launched something amazing.

Given Brietbart’s history for complete fabrications, altering of audio and video footage, and changing of quotes to say the exact opposite of what was actually said, until a reputable third party verifies without a shadow of a doubt that these photos are as reported, or a straight admission from Weiner himself, I am firmly in the camp that Andrew Brietbart is once again lying through his ass, and is AGAIN engaging in libelous conduct.
The Sherrod lawsuit trial trial can’t come soon enough, and I hope that she doesn’t settle and takes him for every damned penny that he owns.

I am recycling this post from the downstairs thread.
Sarah seemed to do a reasonably decent job as governor of Alaska: a state with a population roughly equal to that of Louisville, KY.
Although Alaska is our largest state, nearly 65% of it is owned and managed by the federal government. Another 24% is held by the State of Alaska, another 10% by various Native American councils. Only around 1% is in private hands.
And she quit halfway through her term.
And that another reason I simply do not think she is fit to hold national office, that’s all. I will not criticize or ridicule her any more beyond that point, regardless of what she says or does at this point.
And as it turns out, any criticism beyond that plays right into her hands and into the hands of her legions of supporters.

Wiener has completely failed to take this seriously. The pic of himself with a little sign saying “this is me” or whatever was just goading Breitbart. It really made me think that he might be enough of an idiot to have actually sent the original picture, even if he was acting like they could never prove it.
Possibly the first politician to basically be brought down by an unfortunate last name. I still say the story would never have gained traction without that.

And if there are his photos that have been posted without his permission, then again, that’s something that should be under investigation. Simply saying “Yeah, it’s me, but I don’t know how they got there” isn’t going to cut it any longer.

The South and New England are both good for odd bits of antiquated speech that linger on. Also, a quick Google shows someone saying it’s sometimes used in New Zealand—probably the same kind of survival.
