It ends in the middle of the drum solo, sorry, but there was so much great playing before that, I couldn't resist posting it. Joey Calderazzo's solo is a face-melter.

So, apparently Newt had a second line of credit at Tiffany's...this one wasn't a measly 500K...it was a cool million dollars...fucking brilliant.

As long as he pays the bill, have at it.

I did not know Brecker had passed away... a renowned player for sure, one of those guys that played everything

He's doing the "the account is closed!" thing now...apparently it's completely common for people to have 1.5 million in credit at a jewelry store...you never know when you might need 150 of these:

Was there lightning to worry about? Hurricanes usually aren't electrical storms.

re: #18 ProLifeLiberal

ummm

errrr,,,

derp,,,

The Weather Channel (via affiliated stations across the country) sends him to places where " bad weather things happen" are predicted one or two days prior

He checks in, makes arrangements with said stations news trucks to take him for a "beauty shot"

Thats his job,. basically

Charles, do you have the Japanese release of the CD? It has a bonus track of Skylark that is one of the most incredible interpretations of that standard I've heard. Very hard to find. I wish I could get it for less than 200 bucks.
