Perfect Timing: Pamela Geller’s New WND Book Echoes Oslo Terrorist’s Book

‘A sinister, subversive agenda that could destroy the United States’
Wingnuts • Views: 62,684

With impeccable timing, today Pamela Geller is hyping the release of her new book, published by the far right’s craziest pseudo-news and Birther site, World Net Daily: Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance.

Islamic supremacism is seeping into every aspect of American life. Islamic jihad groups aren’t solely concentrating on terror attacks (although another one of those could come at any moment), but on the creeping encroachment to introduce Islamic law into this country, step-by-step and bit-by-bit, until finally America wakes up to a country transformed into an Islamic state. In Stop Islamization of America, the renowned activist Pamela Geller lays bare the chilling details of the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategy of steady subversion and erosion of our freedoms, while offering a practical guide for how to fight back. Written by an original thinker and innovative, tested, successful activist, Stop Islamization of America is a much-needed wake-up call about a sinister, subversive agenda that could do nothing less than destroy the United States - with unique instructions about how we can, and must, fight back now to defend our nation and our civilization.

It’s impossible to miss the similarity to another book: the manifesto of Oslo mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik, with the same themes, the same over-the-top paranoia, the same mindless hatred, bigotry, and conspiracy theorizing.

In the synopsis at Amazon, if you substituted “Anders Breivik” for “Pamela Geller,” and “Norway” for “America,” it would describe Breivik’s book exactly.

Islamic supremacism is seeping into every aspect of Norwegian life. Islamic jihad groups aren’t solely concentrating on terror attacks (although another one of those could come at any moment), but on the creeping encroachment to introduce Islamic law into this country, step-by-step and bit-by-bit, until finally Norway wakes up to a country transformed into an Islamic state. In “2083 - A European Declaration of Independence,” the renowned activist Anders Breivik lays bare the chilling details of the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategy of steady subversion and erosion of our freedoms, while offering a practical guide for how to fight back. I am in "Dearbornistan" every day and I have not seen anything like this "Sharia state" that is described.

I go into the Target, the Wal-Mart and the Meijer stores in Dearborn, and I see mostly...non Muslim people. Well yeah, I see a few ladies in hijab and a halal food section, but not any more than I see Jewish people and kosher food aisles in my own neighborhood.

Oh, and that mega-mosque on Ford Road? It's surrounded by FOUR (count 'em) churches.

So it's "Islamic supremacism" "seeping into every aspect of American life" that has been steadily and stubbornly trying to insert creationism into science, denying homosexuals equal protection under the law, denying women reproductive rights, and so on? Hmm... good to know.

Jimminy Cricket, I've had about enough. Everywhere I look are threats, there are threats to the left and there are threats to the right, and there are threats underneath. From now on, if you're not 6' tall, white skinned with dark brown hair and eyes, and a little pudgy, or a gorgeous 25 year old female, then you will feel the full wrath of me.

You will be locked in my mother's basement, with only a set of Jockey shorts, no TV, no Wii, no XBox 360 and no Playstation III. (An Atari 2600 can be negotiated)

Weep for yourselves, your time has come.

The ADL, on the SIOE:

Anti-Muslim themes can also be seen in Geller and Spencer's impassioned criticism of President Obama, whom Geller has described as "the culmination of the Islamic-leftist alliance." Geller has accused Obama of doing the bidding of "Islamic overlords" and unfairly favoring Muslims, whom she argues have become "a de facto privileged class" in the U.S. Geller and Spencer co-authored the book, The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America, released in July 2010.

SIOA ads have been displayed on public transportation in various cities in the U.S. One set of ads directed viewers to a Web site created by SIOA called "Refuge From Islam." The site claims that Muslim Americans who "long to be free" of their religion are in danger of being killed, and offers "safe houses" for those who want "out." Another set of ads - the "Honor Killing Awareness Campaign" - purports to address young Muslim women feeling threatened by their family for rejecting Muslim values or becoming "too Americanized."
[Link: www.adl.org...]

Those ad campaigns are incitement to another Breivik, in my opinion.

The Muslim horde that I am part of have produced exactly 2 kids a piece, why isn't that like the rest of America? The offspring are of marriageable age and reproductive ready. Are the offspring ready to advance this Muslim agenda? Hell no on the producing offspring part, maybe 1 grandchild if your lucky and the average marriage age so far is 27. Their not really holding up their part in the taking over America thing.

Considering such dispensations are rare, I feel I must acquiesce.

Well, we successfully taken over Whole Foods, the Post Office, Campbell's Soup, the White House (I'll bet you didn't know President Barack HUSSEIN Obama was also responsible for issuing the Eid stamp, did you?), and have turned abandoned buildings all over the country into schools (madrasas!), mosques, and stores.

Fox Nation: Muslims promote global warming hoax
Islam Goes Green

As Chicago-area Muslims begin the fast of Ramadan Monday, religious leaders are calling on the faithful to keep two causes in their prayers: the health of the planet and the people of Somalia who have been devastated by environmental crisis.

In partnership with aid organizations and a coalition of groups that provide support for African immigrants and refugees, the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago hopes to raise awareness and charitable donations for drought-ridden Somalia during the obligatory fast.

"Everyone is aware and concerned about war and global warming, drought and water shortage," said Zaher Sahloul, chairman of the Islamic council. "But we need to change the behavior of our communities … and link it to the practice of fasting."

A lot of people bought into it, reflexively. They've been taught so often that liberals are anti-Israel-- even though it's historically obviously untrue, there's very little difference in our stance towards Israel whether Democrats or Republicans have the most sway.

Never, ever fails.

Yeah, I saw that, Palin and Bachmann are making the biggest fuss. Hypocrites. Perhaps Biden was wrong to have called them terrorists if he did but Palin literally said Obama wanted to destroy the country on purpose and Bachmann wanted committees "investigating anti American" activity in Cognress. Those two have ZERO room to talk about rhetoric, notta a damn thing. And I'd feel worse for the TP if they hadn't engaged in similiar nasty rhetoric themselves. What goes around comes around.

That's all they have is their whackodoodle rhetoric. Lol Pawlenty's camp was the one calling Bachmann out last week. "Congresswoman Bachmann was giving speeches and offering failed amendments, all while struggling mightily to hold onto the most Republican house seat in the state."

This is a non-issue. Bibi has said he will negotiate on the pre-1967 lines with agreed land swaps (Israel will insist on retaining major Jewish population centers), which is the same thing that Obama said before AP misquoted him. He is setting up the Palestinians to miss an opportunity, because they already have their little hearts set on the "Right of Return" into 1948 Israel.

I think the irony here, regardless of how this plays out, is that Bibi came to the US congress and said these borders were indefensible.

Yes he is now saying the same thing Obama did a few months ago, but Obama got trashed for it and was called anti-Israel. Even though Obama clearly stated "67 borders with agreed upon land swaps".

First of all, he's nowhere near the worst example of excess on the right. There's far worse out there, like Limbaugh-- who Boehner submitted his goddamn debt plan to.

Second of all, MSNBC is nowhere at all equivalent to Fox in terms of distortion, propaganda, and flat-out lies.

It is definitely partisan for the president. But it's on a level far, far below that that Fox is against the president-- and all 'liberals'.

CL ... Sharpton and Buchanan are two side of the same coin. I will never forgive Sharpton for crown heights and other very public anti Semitic actions. And Buchanan is a straight up nazi, pure and simple. MSNBC should shitcan both of them.

The one I always remember was the Tawana Brawley case where he knowingly supported lies against two policemen, and if I recall properly said something to the effect that it was for a greater cause when the policemen where exonerated, after having their lives ruined.

Buchanan was the guy who lost my vote for Bush senior (aside from the comment Bush made about atheists not being real citizens).

Sadly, watching him and Buchanan now on TV, they are both intelligent men.

I've seen the same thing at dKos, and it made me think of the movie Natural Born Killers. In the scene where the parents of Woody Harrelson's girlfriend are killed, her incestuous father is drowned in a fishtank, but her mother meets a far more gruesome death - being burned alive. Before doing this, the girl says: "You never did anything to stop it" ("it" being the father's abuse).

Just got me to thinking how abused people (or people who feel abused) can hate the one they perceive as "enabler" far more than the actual abuser.

Heh, yeah, we're even stealing your cowboy culture!

Actually, the North Africans, through the Spanish occupation, *invented* cowboy culture. The Spanish used to work cattle on foot with wooden poles. The Moors gave them horses, the saddle, and the stirrup. When the Spaniards came to the New World, they all used poles while mounted and were split into two groups. One went to Argentina and kept the traditional saddle and used bolos to work cattle, along with poles. The second group came to Mexico and added a pommel to the saddle. They worked cattle with ropes, hence the cowboy or vacquero (or Buccaroo, if you prefer). Cowboy culture was originally Muslim culture.

Obama got trashed for something he did not even say, something that Associated Press totally made up.

Second of all, MSNBC is nowhere at all equivalent to Fox in terms of distortion, propaganda, and flat-out lies.

It is definitely partisan for the president. But it's on a level far, far below that that Fox is against the president-- and all 'liberals'.

Silly libertarians, I thought teachers did it because they want to brainwash kids...

Did you watch the whole video? All the wingnuts were linking to it this weekend. She goes around asking teachers about having a job for life that they can't be fired from. They all tell her it's not true, and try to explain the tenure concept to her. The wingnuts thought that video was a big win for them.

I guess confusion is a state some people live in permanently.

I year ago and less I was strung out on Vicodin...it got to the point where the simplest things were more complicated that I wanted deal with...my memory was shot, I was spaced out and confusion reined...it would take me twenty minutes to grab my wallet and keys to go out and do whatever I already forgot I needed to do...I'd sit in my car with the motor running asking myself, why am I here?...heh

So let's see. They basically pass a Republican approved and Tea Party approved debt/budget package and they're happy that the DOW went down? Dwarf Fortress is too willfully noncommercial to have any discernible influence on gaming at large, but it is widely admired by game designers. Programmers behind The Sims 3 reportedly played Dwarf Fortress when they were making their game, and several homages to Dwarf Fortress appear in the blockbuster fantasy game World of Warcraft. Richard Garfield, who created the hit card game Magic: The Gathering, once attended a Dwarf Fortress fan meet in Seattle to introduce himself to Tarn. “I told him there’s nothing out there quite like it,” Garfield recalled. He suggested ways of broadening the game’s appeal, but “that stuff didn’t matter to Tarn. The charm of it is that he’s making exactly the game he wants to make.”

What?

We really are living in a Sci-Fi Novel.

Sue Rabbitt Roff, a researcher at Dundee University, said it was time to "explore" kidney donors being paid as an "incentive".

Dr Roff believes the payment should be set at about £28,000 - equivalent to the UK average annual income.

The British Medical Association (BMA) said it would not support cash being paid for organs.

It is currently illegal to pay for organs for transplantation under the Human Tissue Act. The act also makes it an offence to attempt to buy or sell organs for transplant.

In an article for bmj.com, Dr Roff said a regulated payment system run under "strict rules" would not resemble the illegal markets that exist in many countries.

"It would be an incentive across most income levels for those who wanted to do a kind deed and make enough money to, for instance, pay off university loans," she said.

"We have recently moved to allowing donation of strangers' live kidneys, in which an individual decides to give to someone whom they will never meet and with whom they have no emotional or genetic relationship.

"That is a huge shift from the approach of last century, when it was largely assumed that genetically related members of families would want to donate among themselves."

Rising demand

Three people a day die on the UK kidney transplant list - but the number of donations is not keeping pace with the demand for the organs, according to Dr Roff.

And the need for kidneys is only likely to rise with the increase in conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, she said.

But Dr Tony Calland, chairman of the BMA's medical ethics committee, rejected the call for donor payments.

He said: "Organ donation should be altruistic and based on clinical need. Living kidney donation carries a small but significant health risk.

"Introducing payment could lead to donors feeling compelled to take these risks, contrary to their better judgement, because of their financial situation."

The Human Tissue Authority (HTA) said the organisation would "continue to explore" the issues around living donation that had the potential to increase the number of organ transplants.

But a spokeswoman added: "As relationships between potential donors and recipients become increasingly varied, the HTA must continue to ensure that living organ donation is something people enter into freely and without financial reward."

Speaking of Harpy's "indoctrination camp" post: Breivik had the exact same opinion of the camp, and that's why he (spared the youngest children) (or.. at least up to 14 years old or so) because they "weren't completely indoctrinated by the Labour party yet".
So yet again, Harpy and Breivik seem to agree completely.

Breivik has also made some outrageous demands, in order to explain himself to the police, like the government's resignation, and being allowed to address the nation on national TV.

..And in other news, The Westboro baptist nutcases are reportedly planning to show up at funerals for Utøya victims. If so, we will give them a proper welcome.

Good evening fellow lizards!

One thing I was thinking about now was how the extreme left has been reacting to this whole debt ceiling debacle, having been discussing this with friends who were outraged that Obama didn't slash defense spending by 50% at minimum with this bill and didn't raise taxes, and said he should have defaulted instead of conceding those obviously reasonable provisions.

God, this whole mess reminds me of how my sister when she was 15 would get in a five hour fight with my parents because she had some Grand Point to make about school or her boyfriend or something only she understood.

If Hoops shows up tonight (he may be dead from heat stroke) he'll tell you that, right now, it is *much* worse in Norman, OK.

The question is, is this the new normal?

The next question is, what is going to happen in Midland/Odessa/Big Spring/San Angelo when their last reservoir, which is at 24% capacity, runs dry. The other four reservoirs are at 0% and they have no useful groundwater resources nearby. That's several hundred thousand people hanging on by their fingernails.

I love Austin. What can I say? We've got no water issues here in town, yet. It's just oppressively hot.

Whiskey's for drinkin', water's for fightin'.

I know you love it there. I just don't understand living in a desert. Makes no sense to me.

If the WBC nutbags try that, I hope Norwegian customs denies them entry. Barring that, if they get through customs and try their usual schtick, I hope they wind up cooling their heels in the hoosegow for a while for hate speech, seeing as the First Amendment doesn't exactly apply there.

Do your friends not realize that defense spending is probably 90% spent in the USA? You know, union workers and others in plants and services all over the country.

Austin normally gets 32"/year. It's a very heavily forested city. My neighbors and I have 60' oaks, pecans, and cedar elms all over the place. What worries me is that what we are seeing *now* is the new normal for the *future*, with whipsawing cycles of extreme drought/temperature extremes with deluges in between. This summer isn't fun, but neither are flash floods.

Lutefisk is not food, it is a weapon of mass destruction. It is currently the only exception for the man who ate everything. Otherwise, I am fairly liberal, I gladly eat worms and insects, but I draw the line on lutefisk.
Lutefisk is the Norwegians' attempt at conquering the world. When they discovered that Viking raids didn't give world supremacy, they invented a meal so terrifying, so cruel, that they could scare people to become one's subordinates. And if I'm not terribly wrong, you will be able to do it as well.

I'm not convinced that it has been the best he could do. His initial positions have often been to the right of what the polls say most Americans want. He presents compromises as his initial position, on the assumption that if it's reasonable the republicans will agree. This is a fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me situation. He needs to tack his initial proposals left and make the republicans fight for every inch.

Republican opposition aside, some of the executive actions he's taken have been downright conservative. His anti-leak push, the black hole detention center at bagram, the secure communities program and the internet domain seizures have been unilateral conservative actions.

re: #479 BishopX

I have met Cuomo many times and have had as well as other people I know very well, direct dealings with him... I can tell you he is not a "good" guy... He tries to dominate people, scream at them, he's a pretty nasty guy.... He ran for Governor once years ago and lost to McCall and at the same time was going through a bitter public divorce that showed his not so nice side as well.... The guy's best quality is he is the guy that will try to sell you something and will come to your house 1000x until you give in....

He simply lucked out at the way events unfolded.... right place right time twice in a row...
He didn't even want to be Attorney General a few years ago - he just ran as a consolation prize he begrudgingly consented to bcs he knew he had no shot at Governor against Spitzer. At the time it looked like Spitzer would remain Governor for years... then the scandal and then Spitzer's Lieutenant Governor was a complete incompetent disaster when he took over - even his allies couldn't cover for him... Cuomo kept his mouth shut bcs he didn't want to be seen as pushing out a black governor and avoided all questions for months about his real intentions... which of course were to run for Governor.

Now he steps into office when the tide of forced cuts around the country are taking place... so he's seen as moderate or fiscally "smart" liberal which garners him lots of credibility....

He's smart and prepared and tenacious but a real nasty guy who's not great at "working" with others... He's an egomaniac so I'm sure (like most Governors) the White House is in his sites.... however, being a Dem Governor of NY doesn't help you in a national election since NY is a just about 100% guarantee to go Democratic anyway..... and he'd have to wait until 2016 either way and that's many lifetimes of news cycles and changes in political life....

re: #484 makeitstop

I'd have preferred Cuomo the Elder, but his son is doing a pretty good job here. He actually negotiated with the I think he'd be a good presidential candidate. Franken, I believe, could give it a hell of a run after he pays his dues in the Senate.

But could you imagine the level of freakout on Fox News? They'd lay the 'liberal Democrat' on super-thick. And Mario Cuomo's record would get as much scrutiny as his son's.

re: #484 makeitstop

On a personal level Mario was a bit pugnacious guy not always personable but still very charismatic as a speaker at public events... and on the radio as well...
His son is a neanderthal shadow of his father who can't hold a candle to him as far as graciousness and charisma....
So if Andrew were to run for President it wouldn't be Mario's record he would need to worry about. In fact, he'd be running - as he just did - on his dad's shoulders... - and his main obstacle would be to have his handlers beef up even more their job of concealing his real brusk nasty persona....

And I will say this - in this run for Governor they did some good work already regarding that... His speeches were more toned down and not as negative or nasty in tone... as they were a few years back...

But at 50 - even if you're a little older and perhaps more mellowed and your girlfriend is a hot tv chef - you don't change suddenly overnight from just a yr or two ago - you just cover up a little better. That being said in a National media spotlight that will become a job that is 10000x more difficult..
I don't know if he'd be a good President or not I can just tell you if you dealt with him on a personal level you probably would have strong distaste for him...

re: #484 makeitstop

The two things I've liked most about Cuomo have been the budget deal and gay marriage. I really like the way he handled the republican donor network to get the marriage bill passed. I think it's a little early to be saying he's a presidential contender...but he has 3 years before '16. I don't necessarily want my president to be a nice guy. I want him (or her) to get shit done. FDR wasn't nice, Clinton wasn't nice, LBJ wasn't nice and they we all reasonably effective. The nice guys, Carter, Reagan, Bush the younger, didn't work out so well.

In terms of Franken, the only way I would think he has a shot at the presidency would be if if ran for governor first. Which would put him in the running in '20 or '24. Senators generally don't do well running for president.

Reagan could be quite firm when he needed to be, and he had hatchet men he could call on, as did Bush the Younger. Against Carter and Bush the Elder the point stands.

re: #489 BishopX
Clinton may not be a totally nice guy but his public persona was masterpiece theatre at its finest - he could write THE book on it..... And I don't know what you're talking about with Reagan as far as effectiveness, Reagan got a lot done of what he wanted and his public persona and gifts were exactly what Clinton emulated - he read Reagan's playbook... I think what you meant to say was you liked Democratic Presidents that got things passed and don't like Republicans that did lol....

Anyway, Cuomo did barely get gay marriage passed but again - he was in the right place at the right time... because cuts had to come with the next governor regardless - so he had built up tremendous credibility and gravitas from that and so could push Gay Marriage through... even so it barely passed the Senate.... 1 or 2 votes the other way and it wouldn't have made it...

Cuomo should stay Governor if he's smart he doesn't have the political chops or personality to run for President... but we'll see...

re: #491 Dark_Falcon

I view Reagan as someone who was fundamentally a nice person... not a push over, just someone who but a great store in personal relationships and social capital. The is true for Bush the Younger (I'm still trying to figure out the Elder) as well. I just don't think they were terribly effective leaders. I view 1980-88 and 2000-2008 as times when large parts of the American government wandered, often into some pretty dark places. But that's part of why I'm a progressive partisan.

re: #493 BishopX

Reagan didn't wander. He know what he wanted to do in office and ultimately got most of it done. He had to make compromises, yes, but when he left office America was in much better shape than when he'd come in, and the Soviet Union was on the way out. You can disagree with the choices made by the Reagan administration, but of wandering there was little.

Bush didn't wander either, not in his first term anyway. He came into office with domestic goals and was able to push some of them through (No Child Left Behind and tax cuts). The social parts of his agenda (some of them SoCon) were in the main aborted by 9/11, which forced a sea change in the administration's priorities. For the rest of his first term, Bush's focus was overseas, in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In his second term, bush did indeed drift, especially after his Social Security reform idea was hammered into the ground. After that, followed closely by Hurricane Katrina, the president drifted till after the 2006 mid-terms. The "thumpin'" his party took in those jolted him into action on Iraq, and he ordered the surge. While the surge succeeded grandly, it was his last major action. After Katrina, the Bush administration drifted domestically for the rest of its time in office. He tried immigration reform, but he'd lost too much political capital within the GOP to make that work.

re: #494 Dark_Falcon

I'm on my way to bed, so this might be a little incoherent, but here's my best shot.

Reagan broke concept of small government. He came into office campaigning on and end to the expansive federal government of the 50's, 60's and 70's and then continued to expand it once he got into office. He kicked off a huge drug enforcement time at the same time he was backing drug smugglers. He was also in large part responsible for many of the current problems facing the world today. He funded Saddam Hussein, backed down after the Beirut bombing (after he got involved in Lebanon in the first place) and funded the Mujahedin (look how that turned out). Yes, he was responsible for the beginning of the end of the USSR, but he served as midwife to every single threat to American power today.

496 Jeff Zazlow  Tue, Aug 2, 2011 9:55:29pm

The end of the Soviet Union was coming for decades - it couldn't self sustain itself and the cracks in the glacier were coming for years - the arms race Reagan increased likely sped up the cracks in the glaciers... but that also ballooned our debt... Reagan came in on fiscal responsibility and lowering taxes and the size of gov't and just like every President since - increased the size of gov't and the debt... (except Clinton via Newt's House)...
And Gorbachev was as responsible for sheparding in change as Reagan was... I liked Reagan but he also turned his back to AIDS which as a result became an epidemic - not that future Presidents didn't ignore it as well - it was very different times...

Bush was a very different President prior to 9/11 than after... many people don't remember but campaigned on semi-isolationism the Grover Norquist section of the GOP... though I don't believe he totally felt that way himself... he also reached out to the Arab Muslim community and Sami Al-Arian and others heavily campaigned for him in the Arab community on the basis of ending private searches by the FBI leading to deportations... Remember, Al Arian is the one who is sitting in jail right now - he raised money for suicide bombings from his college office and if not for Emerson (imo) and 9/11 would likely still be doing it...

I give Bush credit for the way he dealth with Arafat and Syria... take you at your word until you lie and then that's it....

But just as Reagan Bush meandered as EVERY President does and has to... he increased the Debt - no Repubs were crying about that back then - after Clinton left us in great economic shape.... Of course Clinton was Pres when there were no major wars... like now - and the dot com boom brought in huge tax dollars.... and that went bust starting in April 2000.... the Nasdaq is still roughly half what it was at its peak in March 2000...

I see a few headscarves in my part of the world as well. I doesn't seem to be an issue, IMHO.

I thought I saw a Muslim wearing a headscarf and long sleeves (in this heat?!) -- turns out it was an Orthodox Jew.

That's funny and I updinged you for it but, at least in Muslim countries that have money, Ramadan is more about feasting than fasting; otherwise what would be the point in Whole Foods promoting it for increased business?

This is not an anti Muslim statement, it is a fact I know well and if you want fairness in the critique, it has many similarities with Christmas in the US.

It's fasting all day and eating after sundown.

Woe be to the Muslims at Prudhoe Bay or McMurdo Station in the years Ramadan is the middle of their summer.

Plus, I bet he's thinking of Eid al Fitr. I haven't been to any celebrations myself but have heard the food is off.the.hook.

I am enjoying the rwnj indignance at Whole Foods because of their Ramadan promotions. Exactly a couple years ago, they were running to Whole Foods in a "buycott", all because the CEO came out against healthcare.

Lol dumb, stupid rw bubba goes to Whole Foods against Obama...discovers braised tofu with shitake mushrooms, Ethiopian organic coffee, and the joys of bbq-ing with San Francisco Prius arugula 57 states teleprompter grassfed homosexual beef. /Schadenfreude

re: #342 Gus 802

So let's see. They basically pass a Republican approved and Tea Party approved debt/budget package and they're happy that the DOW went down? Wasn't it supposed to go up BECAUSE it was a Republican approved and Tea Party approved debt/budget package? Using their logic then the market didn't respond to the bill.

Anything that fucks up the economy makes them happy, anything that causes more job losses (which CBO says this debt deal will) makes them happy -- because the president is still a black guy, and the country Must. Not. Do. Well. until that's no longer the case.
